Beautiful views and wonderful staff. Laura and Amanda were so helpful and great with checking in on us. I had a Groupon which included a two for one wine tasting and a small plate of appetizers to share. The tasting included 8 tastings total. This winery appears to be a little older and doesn't have the glam that a lot of the others in the area have, but the wine was good and the staff were great. Friday, 12-13-2024: My friend & I came here after visiting another winery. We came for the Christmas Spectacular presented by the Fine Arts Network Theatre Company. We bought tickets in advance so we got here early because we heard it could sell out. We were able to secure a table, order food, and wait for the show to start. It was fun to see & hear the talented entertainers practicing and doing sound checks. The ladies behind the counter were sweet, hospitable, & helpful. Unfortunately, they did not have white wine only reds. My friend and I prefer Moscatos. One of the kind ladies allowed us to sample various wines until we found the 2020 Late Harvest Red Blend to our liking. I'm no wine connoisseur but I liked the taste of Late Harvest. They have a little gift shop where you can purchase Mad Mike's items like sausages, salsas, etc. They sold little ornaments and other cute items. I bought a cork ornament with ribbon and a snowman attached to it. My friend bought a bag of tortilla chips plus Mad Mike's Mango Pineapple Habanero Salsa (I need to buy one! It's addictive) and the Queso Blanco, which was good too! All these complemented our tasty cheeseburgers, which were reasonably priced. As the evening progressed more folks showed up. So glad we had our table with a perfect view!! The Christmas Spectacular was spectacular! They showcased some tremendous talent from mostly teenagers. They sang Christmas favorites like they were pros! They were truly impressive! During intermission we struck up a conversation with the musical director, Rachel Axelson, who is a great talent herself! She shared with us that the young folks were in the Fine Arts Network and they had some upcoming shows like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. My friend and I want to sign up for it and other future shows. We enjoyed this musical show so much that we want to support them anyway we can. This winery was the perfect venue for this show. It was cozy, warm, and intimate. How gracious for the owners to hold this show here! They had other events advertised in their bulletin board. We will keep an eye on this winery in the future. read more

This was my first time visiting this little boutique winery. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by Nick who took great care of us. The wine selection wasn't huge but there were some delicious options. I'm not typically a white wine drinker but because I work at another winery I like to try whites so I have recommendations when my guests ask me for them. I started with the Pinot Grigio which I definitely would recommend then moved on to the two rosés. Both the rosé of Malbec and the rosé of cab franc were surprisingly good. Me, a known opposer of white wine, and I enjoyed them! From there I moved on to reds and tried one of my favorites, the super Sangiovese. I loved it but once I tried the petit Sirah/ zin blend then I wasn't sure which one I loved the most. Although we were visiting later in the evening and it was already starting to get dark out I could tell the view from the patio was spectacular. Most of the people visiting the winery at the time were enjoying their wines from out there. I will have to come earlier next time to enjoy the scenery. There is also food available if you need a little something to keep you going. If you're looking for smaller more intimate wine tasting experience I certainly recommend Frangipani, Nick will take great care of you. read more

Did not like their wines they had one good wine. They took soooooooooooo long to bring out the food for us and we only ordered a trio platter and it took 1.3 hrs to come out no I think longer we got there at 3:10 and left at 5:15 waiting for our trio platter that just had basic food no cheese nothing that needed to be cooked. I asked the waitress why it taking so long is because a bday group came in and they got back up. Idk if they took their ordered an and put us last but it seemed like that. Never again. What a cute, somewhat quaint winery in Temecula! My friend and I last minute went to this winery on a weekend and had a great experience. They showed us where they store the wine in barrels and where the grapes are fermented. We tried quite a few different wines during our tasting and had champagne cheddar and crostinis. A good kick off to our wine-filled visit to Temecula Valley! I wanted to come here for the name, because it is a little silly and fun to say. There are so many wineries in the area, like a truly bonkers amount, that you have to come up with a way to choose which ones you want to go to. "Fun name" seemed as good a metric as any. We were greeted warmly, made clear our desire for a certain number tastings, and were allowed to choose where we wanted to sit after receiving our first pour and tasting card (a tear-away card for redeeming tasting so you can wander/be served by any staff member...clever!) The wine trends towards the dry end, but I found myself enjoying many of my chosen samples and we did end up buying a bottle to bring back to the hotel with us to enjoy later. The view here, the atmosphere, is lovely and welcoming and our visit was a wonderful first stop in the wine region! read more

I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND THAT MISTAKES HAPPEN. New servers. System glitches. Oversights. But this was a train wreck that was made worse because NO One Took accountability and did not understand that value of taking care of the customer when mistakes are made We had a a reservation for 10 people to have a lunch. Not busy at all. Ordered food off the normal menu. Ordered a couple bottles for the table. A few beers. Nothing crazy. The drinks came out a little slow but nothing terrible. Then the food.....2 of the group got food in a timely manner.....then another 2 got food 10 minutes later....then 10 minutes later, another two people... I assume the cook had NO IDEA how to cook for a table as we were getting food one at a time. At this point, 6 of 10 have food. 4 have not been served. ......we waited for about 15 minutes and finally the chef comes out to say hi. We ask for the additional food. And she looks shocked. Had no idea. Ok......I understand misunderstandings and missing orders......no big deal......another 10 minutes 2 of the 4 get food....then 5 minutes later....one more plate arrives......and I am the only one still not served..... Now- I understand missing orders.......but we are 15 minutes after that realization and we are still waiting for food. another 10 minutes passes and the chef brings my plate as if she was bringing an award. (25 minutes after realizing the mistake) And the order was NOT WHAT I ORDERED. Not even close. I ordered a burger and an eggplant sandwich arrived. I immediately stated the mistake. And she says she will correct it. At this point, EVERYONE HAS EATEN!!! Everyone got served and is done. I state to cancel the order. Everyone has eaten. The food service has taken over an hour and a half since I originally ordered and still no food. The chef wants to make it right so I allow her to remake the food. Another 10 minutes pass.....and no food. My husband goes to the kitchen to ask for them to put it in a box.....noticing that the chef wasn't even in there....she was drinking wine in another location.....and assumably a sue chef was handling it. The food arrives in a box (as requested) along with the check for EVERYTHING.....including MY FOOD which chef insisted to make even when I wanted to cancel the order. No comps......no apologies. No extra wine offered while we wait for the food that they missed.....and not to be petty, but we had water glasses that were never filled. Not even once. The first group ate cold food because they were attempting to politely wait for others food. The later group had to wait for over an hour from time of order to get food.......and my food was a train wreck. A note to the owner. When this happens. Comp something!!! Own the mistake. Say sorry. What happened was truly shocking to the entire group. This place needs to grow and understand to value of hospitality before we ever consider coming again. read more

I ordered a burger, and on the menu it says it comes with 2 all beef patties. 30 minutes later they bring out a "burger" with 1 patty, that looks like someone took their fist and smashed it (bun included) into about a half inch piece of paper. I told the lady who was working there, she shrugged her shoulders and walked away. What a great winery, worth the trip. It may look off the beaten path & away from the main strip, but is only 10 minutes away. Tasted almost their entire selection in 2 tastings & had great views / music. Friendly staff, and love that it is more of the small town, old school winery vibe. This was our next stop after a rough tasting experience and they really redeemed our day! Dann was welcoming, knowledgeable and engaged taking us through the tasting menu and some of the history of the winery. We got to try several different varietals and didn't find a bad one. My personal favorite was the Cab Franc rose, the drier of the 2 roses. My husband enjoyed the reserve Cab Franc the best, with the Grenache a close second. They offer a variety of sweeter and dry wines with lots of bold reds, which we love. We had a Sip Temecula passport and they were generous to give us the full regular tasting. The atmosphere is really chill (including the sweet winery pup, Liberty!) The owner was also there helping at the bar, which I thought was awesome, everyone was kind, attentive and down to earth. Really loved this hidden gem. The food was amazing, and so well priced. No other restaurant has close to the price and quality this place has. The view is amazing, we sat outside and just drank in the beauty during our lunch. The service was outstanding, Laura was so friendly and wonderful we felt like we knew her for a long time. Took a ride down the off beaten path of Temecula a little to explore this beautiful winery! This winery definitely has some of the best views in town. Sit inside of out you can't go wrong with the view. The owner was very informative and social so he made the experience more connected with his customers. Tried both reds and whites enjoyed just about all out of 6. 1 star because no food trucks or heavy food but he did have some cheese and meats available for a snack. Hostess was also very kind and made sure the glasses were never empty haha! This was the first winery we went to on our trip and it was so lovely!! We went after a horse back riding activity and this was included in the offer. They had a beautiful outdoor area with a view, jenga, and seating inside with games. Charcuterie in the fridge and a lovely tasting staff! This truly felt like a personal, family experience and that the staff there wanted to get to know you. Jordan started our tasting and then Nick finished it. We sat and talked to them for hours. Even let us try something new outside of our tasting. They were all about getting to know us and making the experience unique. Liked the wine and took a bottle home with us, a shirt too! Great wines and service! Drove almost 2 hours on two occasions and were not left disappointed. Our first trip here was for our first wine tasting so we didn't really know what to expect. JD took great care of us. Asked questions to find out the types of wines that might interest us. And even mixed up some special drinks that I would have never thought of trying to create. We don't drink wine often, however we couldn't help but leave with a case on our first visit. Not to mention the macaroons that they have available to enjoy with your wine are by far the best macaroons I have ever had. Expected to only have cheese as a choice to pair with my wine, so this was a pleasant and extremely tasty surprise. With lots of wineries in the area you can't go wrong with giving them a try. Nice view, great service, great wine! Can't wait to come back! Also this recent visit we came in 20 mins before closing and JD the was extremely helpful and patient. I always have a very pleasant experience at this winery. The staff are lovely, I especially adore JoAnn one of the owners and Isaiah the young man who works the grill. They are incredibly kind, efficient and wonderful to chat with. I ate here for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with how good it tasted. Hands down best chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. Cooked to perfection. I also had a dark red wine that graced my tastebuds with tremendous flavor. I will definitely be telling my girl friends to come here when they need a good comfortable view, an extraordinary glass of wine and stupendously wonderful food! This was my 2nd time visiting Frangipani Estate Winery and I can confirm that experience is great. My husband and I visited a year ago, enjoyed the beautiful sunset and the Rose. We decided to return a year later but this time, we decided to bring a group of 10. We called a few days in advance to make sure they could accomodate a group of 10 on a Saturday afternoon and they could! :) When we arrived, they already had the table set. The servers were extremely nice and knowledgeable. Their Rose is a must!! It is FABULOUS! This winery is an escape from the more busy wineries. We like the small, quiet, family atmosphere and we cannot wait to return. They have little snacks available but there is also food available next door (hot deli) at Cougar Winery. We went to a friends 40th birthday party this weekend and were so happy to get out of the heat into this awesome secluded spot within the winery, we still felt part of the winery's ambience whilst having our own area to celebrate in. We came here on 5/3/22. We were brought in by a touring company called socal winery transportation and shuttle. By Thomas Higgs. The winery was quiet on a Tuesday but the service and attention were great. The wine? Even better. The manager made a recommendation of a wine that wasn't on the menu...and yum! We bought 4 bottles and spent another $140. So why the one star? I don't understand how such a great place associates with a scam company like socal winery? Thomas told us the touring companies all know each other and have greAt relationships with the wineries in order to set up a service like He did. To sum up, he was 39 mins late meeting us at the pick up at bel vino: where her birthday package was supposed to start with champagne And service at BelVino. He was late abs shows up with a broken bumper on the Lincoln. He said he's make it up and took us here. Said he's be back at 1:45 and at 1:50 was texting us an "emergency" at which time he promised to refund a portion and rebook and make it right. Sounds fair right? To date he has not kept any professional promise he made and we are out $315 and this was suppose to be a special day! I lost my son 6 months ago. She lost her Oma a month ago. This was suppose to be special experience...and now it's tainted. I thought this winery was great and Jamie said she wanted to come back but now we both wonder...what kind of people Do you associate with? read more

This is a small winery but what i love about it u get to sit down and just enjoy the tasting. I went there May 26th and wished it wasn't as cold and rainy cause the view is absolutely beautiful!!
