    Tasting the rosé
    Amanda P.

This was my first time visiting this little boutique winery. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by Nick who took great care of us. The wine selection wasn't huge but there were some delicious options. I'm not typically a white wine drinker but because I work at another winery I like to try whites so I have recommendations when my guests ask me for them. I started with the Pinot Grigio which I definitely would recommend then moved on to the two rosés. Both the rosé of Malbec and the rosé of cab franc were surprisingly good. Me, a known opposer of white wine, and I enjoyed them! From there I moved on to reds and tried one of my favorites, the super Sangiovese. I loved it but once I tried the petit Sirah/ zin blend then I wasn't sure which one I loved the most. Although we were visiting later in the evening and it was already starting to get dark out I could tell the view from the patio was spectacular. Most of the people visiting the winery at the time were enjoying their wines from out there. I will have to come earlier next time to enjoy the scenery. There is also food available if you need a little something to keep you going. If you're looking for smaller more intimate wine tasting experience I certainly recommend Frangipani, Nick will take great care of you.

Did not like their wines they had one good wine. They took soooooooooooo long to bring out the food for us and we only ordered a trio platter and it took 1.3 hrs to come out no I think longer we got there at 3:10 and left at 5:15 waiting for our trio platter that just had basic food no cheese nothing that needed to be cooked. I asked the waitress why it taking so long is because a bday group came in and they got back up. Idk if they took their ordered an and put us last but it seemed like that. Never again. Ruined our night.

Amazing views of the grape vineyards; I think it looks like tranquility while sipping a glass of your favorite Frangipani Award winning wines. You'll feel like family when visiting, everyone is friendly & chill service is always on top of your food & beverage needs, including refreshing cold water. Need to get away from the the hustle & bustle? Get here quick and make it your relaxing haven with just enough patio accommodations to suit your party. If you're hungry don't worry they got you covered with a few appetizers from a personalized cheeseburger, hot dog to pasta dish (Menu varies) You love beer no problem they carry IPA & other from local brewery. Parking is free.

Beautiful property! Super friendly staff. Family owned and operated. The biggest reds in the area. Fun events. Hidden little gem on De Portola in Temecula.

What a cute, somewhat quaint winery in Temecula! My friend and I last minute went to this winery on a weekend and had a great experience. They showed us where they store the wine in barrels and where the grapes are fermented. We tried quite a few different wines during our tasting and had champagne cheddar and crostinis. The workers were knowledgable and the outside area was quite lovely!! I would definitely go back.

    Outdoor seating looks like Tuscany

Hidden gem in Temecula. Great food, wine and views. Wonderful people. This is an area of Temecula where few people venture but it's definitely an area that should be explored.

Stopped in for a glass of wine and Wow. Nick was awesome let me try two so i could decide which i liked. I decided on the Chardonnay. Light crisp and refreshing for a hot day. Beautiful area as well.

This was our next stop after a rough tasting experience and they really redeemed our day! Dann was welcoming, knowledgeable and engaged taking us through the tasting menu and some of the history of the winery. We got to try several different varietals and didn't find a bad one. My personal favorite was the Cab Franc rose, the drier of the 2 roses. My husband enjoyed the reserve Cab Franc the best, with the Grenache a close second. They offer a variety of sweeter and dry wines with lots of bold reds, which we love. We had a Sip Temecula passport and they were generous to give us the full regular tasting. The atmosphere is really chill (including the sweet winery pup, Liberty!) The owner was also there helping at the bar, which I thought was awesome, everyone was kind, attentive and down to earth. Our favorite stop of our Temecula wine country adventure!

It was very impressive wine. The hosts were great... not food to really speak of. Snacks were tasty.

Took a ride down the off beaten path of Temecula a little to explore this beautiful winery! This winery definitely has some of the best views in town. Sit inside of out you can't go wrong with the view. The owner was very informative and social so he made the experience more connected with his customers. Tried both reds and whites enjoyed just about all out of 6. 1 star because no food trucks or heavy food but he did have some cheese and meats available for a snack. Hostess was also very kind and made sure the glasses were never empty haha! Definitely a sleeper winery I'd love to venture back out to with those great country tunes, the views and oh of course the wine!

Our plan was to relax, make memories, have good food and wine, and experience the beauty of Temecula wine country. Miramonte was our first vineyard and we had dinner there on the patio. We got a table that didn't have a view and instead it was in the middle of the patio dining area. There were so many other guests around us and it was loud. At least it was shaded and I think there were misters...? So that made things enjoyable in terms of the heat. We ordered their pitcher of White Sangria (which was somewhere around $42-$48). It said there was going to be peach in the batch with other fruit. The result was frozen berries in a very water downed pitcher if white wine and ice. I hate to say this, but I have had better White Sangria at The Olive Garden. The one I make at home was 100 x's better. For food we ordered the Charcuterie Board, which was huge! That was a very impressive display of cured meats and cheeses. Totally loved the pickled vegetables! We also ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms, Oaxacan Pepperoni & Honey Flatbread, and Truffle Garlic Fries (I think they said "truffle," but I could ne wrong because all I tasted was garlic and parm). The Mushrooms were delicious! I would order that dish again, but then again I am a lover of mushrooms. At the end, I was surprised to not get any Bach party recognition. Most of the places we went to, my girls and I got perks for the celebration. I mean the hostess didn't even wish a "Congratulations." At least she was nice to get a group shot with the beautiful sunset. I am usual a 5-star giver and I feel bad giving this place a 2-star. Luckily some of the food was actually good, so thank goodness a 3-star is the final result. I mean Miramonte did set our bar very low for the rest of the wineries thus making the other ones we went to on our trip were supreme -- which were Akash and Ponte. Both Akash and Ponte were aaaaaaamazing!

Last time I was here was probably 12 years ago, and WOW has this place changed. It's basically the Disneyland of wineries now! There's a mimosa station when you arrive, wine tastings in the main building, cabana-style seating on the lawn, and tables and chairs almost everywhere you look. They also have an onsite grille restaurant, wine clubs, tours, and the cutest little shop inside. The property itself is beautiful with tons of photo spots, vineyards you can stroll through, and even a little man-made lake that gives the whole place a whimsical feel. There's also a ballroom with a huge projector where we watched the World Cup game! And random but important... bathrooms everywhere. The dress code is super chill here! It was HOT when we visited, and I even saw guys walking around in flip-flops, so definitely dress comfortably for the weather. They even have a shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at the parking lot! It comes around about every 15 minutes, and tips are welcomed. Our shuttle driver told us Wilson Creek has a contract with Disneyland, where they sell their infamous Almond Champagne, and you can also find some of their champagnes at Ralph's! The staff were all super friendly! For tastings, you purchase a tasting card at the register and then belly up to the wine bar to choose your pours. You can also just grab a glass or bottle of wine, and they even have beers on tap! You can get married here, host an event, grab food, spend the day wine tasting, or just hang out and enjoy the property. It's seriously such a happening place and we can't wait to come back!

He provided the history of the winery and the background of the various wines I sampled. I was not fond of their white wines, but their red wines possessed character, complexity, and depth. The price of the tasting was on the high end, but I enjoyed it all the same. The property is very large, and well-maintained, and also hosts a distillery, somewhat hidden in the form of a speakeasy of sorts. Didn't partake, but intend to return in the future to sample.
