What a lovely afternoon, we tasted some beautiful white and reds and the sparkling was delicious! The staff is attentive and informative and decanted a wonderful bottle of Merlot. A Fun day with a good friend and delicious wine.

My husband brought me wine tasting here. I didn't realize it was his first time. The restroom was clean and well stocked. The band, Ascentials, was great! Definitely contributed to the good vibes. Free parking. Dog friendly. Everyone on staff is super friendly. Had a blast. Would return. We only took advantage of 3/5 tastings since we're not big drinkers. That was plenty for us.

The wine tender was amazing. He was extremely busy but still took the time to make us feel welcomed. Once things slowed down he came over and spent time with us and gave us a brief rundown of what to pair with and what he enjoyed. The property was well maintained and the vibe was extremely chill.

As much as I would've loved to give this place a 5-star review, the experience fell a bit short. The ambiance was great thanks to the live music we visited around 2pm on a busy Saturday, which added to the lively atmosphere. However, for a wine tasting experience, it felt very crowded and rushed. There wasn't a dedicated person explaining the wines, so it was more of a quick pour and move along situation. We didn't learn much about what we were tasting and were left feeling a bit unsure about where to go next, as there wasn't much direction. That said, the wine itself was amazing--truly the highlight of the visit and absolutely delicious.

We had a very nice experience at this winery, Brian took great care of us. Unfortunately the wines were way too sweet. We like a more crisp, deep wine and these were very sweet, but the winery itself is gorgeous. The property is so beautiful.

We had our wedding at Mount Palomar Winery this October, and honestly... we couldn't have chosen a better venue. From the moment we stepped onto the property, everything just felt right. The views are unreal, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the entire space has this effortless elegance that made our wedding weekend feel timeless and elevated. Every corner of the winery photographs insanely well -- golden hour here is next level. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was Ani, the property manager. She was beyond flexible, incredibly responsive, and genuinely cared about us and our vision. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Ani made it feel manageable and even enjoyable. By the end of it all, she honestly felt more like family than a vendor. Ani really is someone who had our backs and wanted the day to be perfect just as much as we did. That kind of care is rare. The staff, the flow of the day, the overall energy of the venue. Everything came together seamlessly. Our guests are still talking about how stunning the location was and how special the entire experience felt. If you're considering Mount Palomar Winery for your wedding or event, stop looking. This place delivers beauty, professionalism, and heart. We'll forever be grateful that this is where we got married.

We stopped by this winery on a Sunday morning, just looking for something a little different before our next stop on the wine trail. The location itself is beautiful, nestled between hills with a lovely view of the lake. The atmosphere was enhanced by a live band, which really set a nice vibe for the day. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the surroundings. I had the poke nachos, which were fine--nothing special, but certainly not bad. My wife ordered a flatbread that ended up being pretty dry; she ate two pieces and left the rest. Our friends had a salad and a smash burger that they said was good. Service was a bit slower than expected, especially since there were only four groups inside. It didn't feel overly busy, but our server was also handling the patio area, which had several families seated. It was a bit noisy outside with kids playing, which didn't exactly mix well with the live music. All in all, if you're looking for a nice spot to enjoy some wine and take in the scenery, it's worth a visit. Just don't come with high expectations for the food, and be prepared for some lively (and loud) energy if you're dining outside and there are families present. P.S. don't order the old fashioned and stick with wine.

Pretty quaint spot suited for large groups. I would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking to grab a bite, enjoy some music and of course, drink some wine. The price of food was above average and wine was decent. Poke nachos and calamari were great apps. Portionly it was okay, but i'd like to see more. I like this location, because of the shaded tables. The dj was playing a random mix of music, which was cool. Servers were tentative and friendly. Plenty of parking as well! Did I also mention it was dog friendly? bring your dog if you can!

First time here and I love that we get a charcuterie with a tasting!!! We went to the restaurant after and had brunch, service was slow but understandable on a busy Saturday afternoon. We have plans to return and possibly sign up for a membership but need details first. Tasting room was a bit slow but also understandable because of the busy Saturday. Wish there was more people employed to help with the crowd

Food menu is super limited, wait times are insane and service was horrible. One and done, the only thing they have going is the live music.

GENERALLY OPEN LATER - MUST GO ON A SUNDAY EVENING!…read more I do not frequent Temecula very often. I've only been here a few times. Visiting wineries is a fun way to spend a Sunday in Temecula, yet the only down side is that the majority of wineries close at 5pm. The Peltzer, however, is open a bit later and usually till 7pm. I have a very nice time here. The two wines I tried here were very good. The service was friendly and welcoming. I happened to love the vibe and decor here a bit more as it was not all restaurant orientated. It felt more like a family friendly brewery where you can bring a board game and sip some wine and enjoy your time with friends. I would definitely come back to the Peltzer!

The grounds are beautiful, with plenty of outdoor seating, charming décor, and even pigs and small activities such as "gem mining"--which adds to the relaxed, family‑friendly vibe. Inside, the tasting room is large, lively, and inviting. The staff was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to share their wines with us. They also gave us great recommendations for other wineries to check out during our weekend, which we really appreciated. Peltzer doubles as a venue, and you can tell--there's always something happening. Concerts, weddings, events... it feels like a place that has something for everyone. We can't wait to come back and explore more because it truly feels like a winery you can enjoy in a dozen different ways. The only downside of our evening was that they had to close down early due to a wedding.
