Cool place! Kid friendly and they have horses, an alpaca and some goats! Wine was good but they definitely need to find another food vendor to work with (Souls sisters). Overall, good experience! Very laid back.

Ideally would rate this spot 3.5 stars! This was our second stop for our Temecula trip and it was a great place to slow down the pace. Few seats outdoors that we easily got as a party of 15. They have a small parking lot and there's an event venue on site too (there was a wedding happening when we visited). We ordered 3 bottles of white wine and it was the priciest bottles we got that weekend, $55 per. But it was my favorite bottle of the trip! Very light and sweet. The main reason I wanted to come here was to visit the animals LOL. They were sweet and active when we came. Our party didn't order food but they were serving tacos when we went. Lots of families and kids running around. I'd visit again for a small-winery chill vibe!

This is where I had my wedding. It was a beautiful venue and the food was very good! My wedding ran smoothly and I'm glad I chose Longshadow as my wedding venue.

The good: I tried two types of wine for $12 per glass. They tasted great. I liked this winery because they had 2 horses, an alpaca, sheep and two goats. My kids enjoyed viewing them and they were located right where the fire pits, stage, bar and bathroom were. They also had a small playground. The outdoor lights were nice at night. The bad: I accidentally booked a 5:30-closing bonfire ticket for Saturday but showed up on a Friday during a private event because I had my days mixed up. The playground is on dirt so it can get a little dusty and dirty with the kids. There will be the scent of farm animals since the animal are right where everything else is located. The interesting: They had a wedding going on and they had a cute giant cowboy boot to hold flowers. I noticed there were a few boots like this on the property. There was an electric fence around the horse area. Google maps led us to the road above which is a private residence.

First time I've been to this winery being a Temecula resident since 1989. Founded in 1999, I came to watch a concert and while I was there ordered loaded nachos with 1/2 call Pastor & Carne Asada from A.M. Cafe y Mas. The winery event had a two drink minimum and they were serving their Cabernet Sauvignon among a long list of wine, beer and hard seltzer.. their Cabernet Sauvignon was very good for Temecula standards. Prices for all drinks was $10 each, and all the food served was really reasonably priced. I would suggest bringing your own chairs if attending a concert to make sure that you can choose a good spot. this is a great outside venue for music, wine, and food in the Temecula wine District.

We went up the hills to a family friendly winery. I had kiddos with me and this place had lots of kids, small children actually. There were little goats and playground in the back of the bar. They did not offer food but there was a food truck parked in the lot. The bar area is opposite of the stage where a band is playing. There's a list of wine they offered, no flights available but the winetender will give you a sample to taste before buying a cup. Beautiful winery and huge lot. Check this place out if you're in the area.

My Favorite new winery in Temecula! The wine is always so great, and the Dave and Chris take such great care of the customers. As a port lover, I was so happy to see that Longshadow had a great one on the menu. The Saturday nights are a blast with live music, fire pits, and a family friendly environment. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

Visited here during the crazy August heatwave. I was worried that it wouldn't be a good experience because of other reviews on Yelp but I had such a great time! Bought a tasting for 2 off of Groupon and I think we got 4 or 5 pours? The guy who helped us was very friendly and quick to come out and help us. He was pretty heavy handed with the pours and it wasn't the best wine I've ever had but definitely a fun experience. My favorite thing was the port wine in a chocolate boot which was served cold and so tasty! If it's really hot out, I would recommend that you call beforehand and make sure that the indoor space is available to sit in. Otherwise I had fun exploring, the wines were good, and the animals all looked healthy. Don't try to pet the alpaca!

My first visit to this winery a few years ago wasn't great. To be fair, it was a crowded weekend outdoor event on a miserably hot day. I had been totally underwhelmed by warm white wine in a plastic cup and didn't visit again until recently...but am glad I gave it another shot! This recent visit was with a women's wine group on a Friday as soon as they opened. I had never been inside the tasting room which is beautiful with a warm wood decor and western ambiance. Our servers were friendly and my Cab Franc was good. We all tried their famous Ponderosa Port shots in chocolate cowboy boots which was such a fun and yummy combo! Breezy pleasant temps after a heat wave meant we were able to sit outside. Although not pet-friendly, it is a kid-friendly winery, with a playground area and some farm animals. They have Saturday night bonfires, music and food trucks. There was a taco truck the day we were there and those who ordered said it was great. While I probably wouldn't visit on a regular basis, this was a unique winery that I'd especially recommend to anyone with kids.

Nice place. Good for families. ...but no food today (advertise there would be) nice place to play! The website stated no outside food could be brought but then we were told we could get door dash. A bit confusing. Maybe call before you come if you have questions. We would like to return more prepared. We will def try again!

Amazing venue! Perfect for a family wine country destination. Bartenders were very laid-back and accommodating. Wines were excellent. I recommend their benchmark estate grown Cabernet Franc.

Love the uniqueness of this winery. Service is great, they are open late and have live music. Playground area for kids. The issue is the overall care and happiness of the animals on site. It just breaks my heart seeing them. The enclosures are full of poop, the lamb had a full wool coat in the middle of summer when it's 100°+ outside and no shade. The horses hooves look so terrible. It's sad to see that the animals are not properly cared for.

    The cutest alpaca!!!!

GENERALLY OPEN LATER - MUST GO ON A SUNDAY EVENING!…read more I do not frequent Temecula very often. I've only been here a few times. Visiting wineries is a fun way to spend a Sunday in Temecula, yet the only down side is that the majority of wineries close at 5pm. The Peltzer, however, is open a bit later and usually till 7pm. I have a very nice time here. The two wines I tried here were very good. The service was friendly and welcoming. I happened to love the vibe and decor here a bit more as it was not all restaurant orientated. It felt more like a family friendly brewery where you can bring a board game and sip some wine and enjoy your time with friends. I would definitely come back to the Peltzer!

They also gave us great recommendations for other wineries to check out during our weekend, which we really appreciated. Peltzer doubles as a venue, and you can tell--there's always something happening. Concerts, weddings, events... it feels like a place that has something for everyone. We can't wait to come back and explore more because it truly feels like a winery you can enjoy in a dozen different ways. The only downside of our evening was that they had to close down early due to a wedding.

If…read moreyou are not much of a planner or want to be more hands off for your big day, this is definitely a venue I would look into thoroughly. They have so many resources and vendors all wrapped into one price and streamlined. Since they do weddings four days a week, the team is well prepared for almost anything and has thought through the entire day from start to finish. As a pride, my advice would be to be as specific and organized as possible when communicating with the team, as they do this often they are well prepared, but it made for a more seamless planning process because I was diligent in prepping information, creative design choices, and confirmed every step of the way. I give the venue 10 out of 10 stars, my pain point was with the DJ vendor. While I think they try to do a good job, they're not hitting the mark. When I mention about following up and confirming, you need to be as specific with them as possible. Outline everything and don't leave anything to chance. In my experience, they were disorganized and had mixed communication- though our dancing and evening wasn't effected the planning process was. All in all, I would recommend VDA has your place to get married and trust to execute your big day. Happy to speak with any bride looking at this venue find me @sincerely_siena on IG

From our perspective and the guests. HUGE KUDOS to David, Mandi, Michelle, Kylie, Amber, and the catering staff. They worked with me so graciously up until the last minute. I changed décor and floral design about a month before the event and they were so kind and made sure everything was exactly what I wanted. The communication was very timely and clear. This venue really works with you to make sure everything aligns with your vision. Mandi and Amber went above and beyond for all of the design and all our guests keep telling us how they felt each event felt like a brand new experience (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing). Michelle was in charge of florals and it was exactly what I pictured in my mind. She matched my colors, vision and vibe directly to what I wanted. Kylie was our coordinator and she was truly amazing. She kept our bridal parties in line (we are a little rowdy) and made sure each event flowed perfectly for the day. Our guests really complimented the catering staff as they were seamless and made sure dinner was a smooth success. The food was great and the steaks were huge! From my perspective and the guests, it was a day that had no hiccups, no drama, nothing was out of place. I can truly say that Villa De Amore and all of their team members are amazing at what they do and I HIGHLY recommend considering this venue for the wedding day of your dreams!

The important thing to note here is that they do a lot of weddings! Once it got closer to our wedding day we got a new coordinator named Tessa and she basically saved my sanity because from that moment on I had no issues and felt so prioritized. Be patient with them in the beginning because you're one of many brides they speak to on a daily basis. Once you're wedding day is actually there, it will be worth every single penny. The food was amazing, the DJ is so good and attentive, our day of coordinator Hayley was also really nice and Victoria made sure to ask me if I needed anything she was there to make it happen.
