Views and the best stuffed mushrooms I've ever had. We've been here a handful of times and it's truly one of the best places to sit, take in the beautiful view, eat, and of course drink. This bistro is located at Miramonte Winery. It sits on top of a hill. The food is great and one item really stands out and that's the stuffed mushrooms that are delivered to your table straight out of the oven still bubbly and extra cheesy. They're stuffed with goat cheese, garlic, Brussels sprouts, and topped with Asiago and mozzarella for an almost crispy crust and then drizzled with some sweet balsamic glaze. Heaven in your mouth. I'll keep coming back as long as nobody fucks with the mushroom recipe or decides to take them off the menu. read more

We stopped here for Mother's Day at opening and nabbed a spot! What a beautiful view we had on the patio with a pianist and singer player on the property . We were greeted promptly, seated , and served drinks all within 5 minutes. We were thrilled!! We ordered the kiddos sodas and waters - we snuck some sips from the kids. We decided to share a pepperoni pizza, stuffed mushrooms, and a chicken salad. Yum!!! We devoured everything and even the kids showed their love for the pizza! We left with full tummies, smiling kids, and one very happy Mother on Mother's Day! So happy we ran into this place on our way home! We were hungry after some wine tasting so I hit up Yelp! looking for a good burger. This was the top rated place in the area with a $$ price range. Gorgeous pot on a hill top and parking was a bit tight, but it was worth the walk from the main driveway. Beautiful view of the valley from our hightop stools on the railing. Upscale meets casual here. A beautiful view of the valley and overlooking the Miramonte vineyard. I'd recommend booking ahead as we went on a Saturday evening around 630 and it was pretty packed. We were flexible and sat at a high top table, 3 adults 2 little ones. We started with the stuffed mushrooms and this was the best thing we had by far. They were absolutely delicious. Stuffed with goat cheese and herbs perfectly roasted. These are a must. We split a pitcher of sangria and ordered up. 2 flatbeds and a pesto Mac and cheese. The flatbeds were great as well. One veggie and all the toppings fresh and crisp while some were cooked down with the flat bread. The bbq chicken was tasty also had a slight kick to the sauce and the chicken and onions on top were spread evenly for a great balanced bite. Flower Hill Bistro is a fun place to grab a bite to eat and is attached to the Miramonte Winery. It's located just outside and to the left of the Tasting Room. It's under a combination of tents and a patio shelters. Keep in mind, there are no misters for warm days though, but they do have live music on weekends. Miramonte also has a private members area beyond the small bridge, for those who want to relax and enjoy their wines away from the Tasting Rooms. Our membership in the Wine Club also allows us 20% Off all food in the Bistro, which is a nice perk and is something I would highly recommend. But twenty percent off something, doesn't mean a thing, if the food isn't very good. Here however, Flower Hill and Miramonte have out done themselves. Our server Bjorn, was extraordinarily helpful and made sure not to rush us. His personal and intimate manor made us feel right at home. We tried a bunch of wines in their Tasting Room (which you can read about) but thoroughly enjoyed their red Bin 380 and mildly sweet Riesling and dessert wines. The three of us ordered a bunch of different items, from Mildly Spicy Chicken Wings, to a Charcuterie Board, to Flat Bread Pizza and also Truffle Fries. Everything was good. My husband and I came on a Friday night over Labor Day weekend and had a great meal here. I'd made a reservation for that night only a few days before. At the time we came, the winery had closed for tastings already (I believe they close around 5), but they had several of their wines on the menu. It was a scorching hot weekend in Temecula and they only had outdoor seating, but the waitress seated us in a spot with high seats that had good access to the misters. My husband and I both had wine here and one main dish each. My husband had the rose while I had the chardonnay. I quite liked the chardonnay here, it was oaky and buttery. My husband got a rose that I also liked. As for our food, I had the salmon while my husband got the caesar salad with chicken. The salad was a basic caesar salad and I think he regretted ordering it. My salmon with cheesy potatoes was excellent. It came with a drizzle of sweet balsamic jus. The ambience and service here were both lovely. Would recommend for a meal if you're in Temecula. read more

After a nice tasting experience with Miramonte, I got dinner at the bistro. I got the sumac salmon. The flavors from the honey glaze and sumac came through but was not overpowering. The fish was cooked just right and tasted fresh and delicious with its crust. read more

Lovely little bistro located at the Miramonte winery. We called ahead and they told us that the walk in wait was about 30 min to 45 min but if we made a reservation online, we were guaranteed a spot. We looked online and their next reservation was in 15 min so we drove down the road for a nice lunch. On a busy and sunny weekend parking was a bit crowded, but it wasn't that bad of a walk across the lot. We were seated immediately at a bar top overlooking the vineyard and the lot. There were misters overhead with lovely vines ahead and around us. We tried a few things since my bf and I like to graze. That included a 4 cheese macaroni and cheese and a light Cesar salad. For drinks, we shared a pitcher of white sangria. The Mac and cheese is decadent to say the least but extremely good. Run a few laps before and after lunch so you don't feel bad about the calories. All in all, friendly staff who wore PPE and made you feel safe. Tables were socially distanced outside and we didn't feel rushed in any way. Great views and great eats. read more

The servers are very friendly and can answer any questions for you. The ambiance is fun too. Amazing service!!! Beautiful dining patios. We visited this past weekend, Saturday evening actually. It was packed!!! Live music began around 7. Our server was fantastic and I really wish I knew his name. He kept our wine buckets filled with ice to chill our sangria. Water pitchers constant at the table as well. Our entrees and amenities were always received promptly and not too long after placing our orders. It was impeccable service. We were seated at the first table as you exit the tasting room, in a large group of about 12 (by the end of the evening) and their staff found us seats to accommodate us all. Can not say enough great things about our server! Delicious bread and hummus plate, chicken flatbread, and the cheesecake dessert was a group favorite. Enjoyed such an amazing evening with the band and company. I absolutely recommend their extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar garnished plate. Their balsamic vinegar is delicious!!! We have had small plates at Flower Hill Bistro on several occasions. The food is fresh and quality...everything has been great. This past weekend we tried their brunch. They did not disappoint! We started with a Bucket of Bacon...great smokey flavor, cooked crisp, and enough to share. We devoured an omelette, berries and waffles, and biscuits and gravy...everything was delicious! Not to mention the endless mimosas! Most of the dishes have a little spin to the recipe. The biscuits were made with a bread pudding and the home fries had a slight kick with spice and tangy flavor. Panna Cotta = 7/10 Sinful Truffles=7/10 The waiter was unenthusiastic since we had only ordered 2 dishes for our party initially. His tone changed once he noticed we're ordering dishes left and right. My biggest gripe was the fact that everyone else had a glass goblet for water yet our party had plastic cups with a plastic pitcher of water. Burgers are either "pink or no pink" and they all came no pink even though we requested majority medium/rare. Bread and meat are super dry. They take VERY long to being out food. 3/4 of the table got their dishes. We all waited an extra 10 minutes for the last bit. Just mediocre food. Wine is great. The tour is awesome. My husband and I took a day trip to Temecula for wine tasting and had lunch at Flower Hill Bistro. This is a lovely spot for lunch! It was a toasty, warm day and they DO have misters in the outdoor seating area. My husband had the Cali Burger, which as delicious. I had the fish-and-chips which were also very tasty. Okay, I have only eaten food at three wineries in the Temecula Valley Wine Country - but Flower Hill Bistro gets my 5 star (as good as it gets) for a bistro/gastropub/restaurant / whatever you want to call it. Now, grant it, this is our first choice of the wineries (Miramonte Winery) out here that we go to, but I try not to let that taint my review. The three times we have eaten something from Flower Hill Bistro has been excellent. This last time we indulged in a Chicken Flatbread and Mac n Cheese. Both of these, which are not considered full blown dinner / meal plates, were sufficiently large enough for the average person to consider said dinner / meal. Both items, just like items in the past, came out in a timely manner and hot! The food was rich and delicious. I would definitely get that Mac n Cheese again! BURP!! Our service has always been excellent. If you are a wine club member you get 10% off (nice little bone tossed your way), which pays your damn California sales tax. Or you can make yourself feel better by mentally believing it is going towards any tip provided for quality wait service. A lot of the food items offered at winery related restaurants are similar in nature, maybe with a twist by the chef. At least that is what I have observed.
