My bf and I were back there in February and we loved this restaurant! We did the wine tasting across at their tasting room and then walked over at our reservation time and were seated promptly! I love the ambiance and decor of this place! It has both indoor and outdoor and the outdoor seatings are open air into the indoor area. Very breezy and lovely! It has the feel of a fancy cottage . Food was delicious and drinks were yummy! We loved every single dish we ordered: octopus, steak, scallops, and the mushrooms!!! So so good! Highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived at Leoness Cellars, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the rolling hills of Temecula wine country, this spot effortlessly blends rustic charm with refined elegance. The views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere invites you to slow down and savor every moment--especially the food. We've dined here more than once, and each visit has been consistently memorable. Most recently, we were blown away by every dish we ordered. The natural hand-cut fries were the perfect start--crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and seasoned beautifully. They paired wonderfully with the chipotle lime ketchup, garlic aioli & cajun aioli and set the tone for what turned into a spectacular meal. For entrées, we tried the New York steak and the wild boar. The steak was grilled to absolute perfection--juicy, tender, and full of flavor. You could tell it was high-quality meat, cooked with care. The wild boar was a standout: rich, bold, and unlike anything you'll find elsewhere in Temecula. It was beautifully plated and accompanied by seasonal vegetables that enhanced the earthy flavors of the dish. Dessert was pure indulgence. The crème brûlée had that flawless caramelized top with a silky, vanilla-laced custard underneath. We finished our evening with French press coffee, which was strong, smooth, and a lovely, refined touch to cap off the meal. Beyond the food, the service deserves a shout-out--friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. Our server offered excellent wine pairing suggestions and genuinely seemed to care that we were enjoying ourselves. Leoness Cellars isn't just a winery with a restaurant--it's a destination in its own right. Whether you're celebrating something special or just looking to treat yourself to a phenomenal meal in a stunning setting, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend--this is one of Temecula's finest.

Hello and welcome to my experience at the Restaurant at Leonard's Cellars. For starters Julia was a fantastic server. The restaurant had a classy/elegant summer feel to it. We opted to eat on the outside to get the natural breeze. Fortunate for us we were directly across from the fountain where we took some personal photos after our meal. As you can see below we tried several options which not only had a good presentation but was very tasty and cooked to perfection. We did a wine tasting just prior having lunch to prepare us for the bottles we chose to pair with our meal. I ate the sea bass which was delicious. The potato puree and chopped Brussel sprouts balanced well with the dish adding depth and richness of flavor. I sampled the other dishes and easily I would have been satisfied with any of them. The shrimp was plump, juicy, fresh, and tender. The lamb chop was cooked to a beautiful medium and seasoned with the right amount of salt. The boar and carrot combo was a hit. The quail went too fast for me to get bite. The truffle fries were hot, crispy, and have an intense blast of the truffle flavor. The house made condiments worked with the fries but certainly not needed. Overall this was an amazing experience shared with family. I do highly recommend you give them a try if you are in the Temecula wine region. There are plenty of places to take great photos and even a space dedicated to ceremonies overseeing the vineyard. 4.8 of 5.0

This place is AMAZING! The atmosphere, the customer service, the AMAZING chefs! I mean I can go on and on. I took my wife for our 10 year anniversary and wow they did not disappoint! Nicole was our waitress and she is just the best! So kind, professional and she recommended the wine, the truffle fries, the shrimp scampi linguine and the seared chicken and wow!!! All 4 recommendations were AMAZING!!! The food was INCREDIBLE and Nicole was the highlight of our night! We are taking my Mother for her birthday coming up! This place is hands down 5 STARS!!!!

The ramen was delicious, with a rich, creamy broth that was full of flavor. The gyoza was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Noodle consistency is great with their Blaze or Classic ramen options, as the broth tends to be a little thicker and creamier than the Shoyu option. Their appetizer selection is also pretty diner friendly and sure to include a little something for everyone. If you're not in the mood for noodles, they also offer regular or large rice bowls, which come with amazing flavor profiles all on their own. At a glance, the 'regular' size option might seem like an insignificant portion, but rest assured it comes ready to satisfy the types of diners who'd prefer to taste a little of everything. My only critique would be on the sushi selection. It didn't taste so fresh, but then again this place is obviously not named Silverlake Sushi, so I'll rest my case on that note. I stand firmly behind ramen being the craft that Silverlake takes time to perfect, both in the intricate taste and in visual detail. Highly recommend if you're craving noodles and don't want to drive out of town to get them!

I HAD THE BEST FISH OF MY LIFE HERE!…read more The photo might not do it justice, but holy moly - I seriously had a life changing moment eating the striped bass here. It was cooked to absolute perfection with the bones separating right off to indulge to the fullest extent. They tell you it takes 30 mins to cook, which is well worth the wait. The skin was perfectly crispy and the seasoning was to die for. The meat was juicy and I couldn't stop eating it alongside the garlic yogurt. It also came with a side of chickpeas and summer squash. The cocktails were a nice break away from all the wine in Temecula - but I wished the drinks would be punchier and more creative. The charred cauliflower was a nice order, though it was too "raw" and therefore dry. I think it'd be better lightly fried to lock in some juice. Service was fantastic, especially as the server is the one that pushed us to get the fish. The ambiance is fantastic; we stayed inside but the outside is beautiful. Overall, I can't believe that fish; I hope to try it again when I revisit the area.

Brunch lasts until 2pm and then from 2pm to 245pm they serve only appetizers. Lmao. Thats certainly interesting. Aesthetically this place is gorgeous. I love that they are dog friendly and it wasnt too hot today at the patio. I got the bloody mary to start and it was pretty good. The bacon in it was amazing, however, it didnt taste like 2 shots. The drink was thick but the flavor was still good. I got avocado toast with smoked salmon. This very small meal was 20$. I got a lox bagel and 4 huge pieces of smoked salmon with capers and a side of avocado a few days ago in Vegas on the strip and that was 16$. Sooooooo... how is this justifiable? Anyways, I also ordered a diet coke and they came out with a mini can. Talk about why this place is called "small" barn. Lol! The server stated the can is super small bc its only 2$. Thats just silly. Just get the bigger can and charge me 3 bucks for it. Thats fair in my humble opinion. 4$ for two mini cans is wonky to me. Alas, these are not the reasons why this place originally got a 2 star from me. It was the tomatoes on my avocado toast. They taste spoiled, old, and mushy. It made my stomach hurt a bit. As for the salmon, it tasted like it smelled, funky. Why i ended up giving this place a 3 instead of 2 stars? Bc their creme brulee was the BEST creme brulee I've ever had. It was so luscious, creamy, and it felt like these are the kinds of desserts GODS eat! It was amazing! My server was friendly and talkative with me up until the end. She said "have a good day" in an oddly, irritated way when I paid with my card. Oh wells. Ill come here for the desserts! And perhaps ill give other things a try

Silver lining, and the real reason I am posting...as I was walking out, a man heard me get rejected for dining and the guy went after me to ask if I wanted to sit with him and his group. I just wanted to thank him for his kindness and I apologize if I walked away quickly. I was a bit embarrassed waiting that long only to be denied service. Since we came on a weekday it was pretty quiet which made the whole thing really relaxed and easy. We got seated right away and the staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. There is also a cool glass window by the kitchen where you can peek in and watch them making the ramen which was cool. We decided to go with the lunch special and it was such a great deal. I ordered the 2 item combo with miso ramen, potato croquette and panko shrimp and it came out to only $14. The sides were definitely the highlight of the meal, both were cooked really well and full of flavor. The ramen was enjoyable though it did not completely blow me away. I'm visiting for the second time, and I remembered this place having some of the best meat I've…read moreever had at a KBBQ restaurant. The cuts were high quality and not overloaded with fat. For some reason, I just never made it back here; probably because the Promenade area isn't usually along our route. Coming here tonight genuinely brightened my day. I had just finished a long shift and a commute, and all I wanted was a good, comforting meal. My nutritionist told me yesterday need to significantly increase my protein intake to help reduce muscle loss related to my autoimmune thyroid condition. KBBQ seemed like the perfect choice; lots of protein without a lot of unnecessary junk. On my way home, I stopped at two other KBBQ restaurants. Apparently, I was unaware of the unspoken rule that some places don't serve parties of one on weekends. One restaurant even had me wait 25 minutes before telling me they wouldn't seat a solo diner during the weekend. Unfortunately, my husband is currently deployed, so being a party of one isn't exactly a choice for me right now! Normally, dining alone doesn't bother me at all, but today it got to me. I was exhausted and simply wanted a comforting meal. Being turned away after waiting 25 minutes just because I by myself was the last thing I needed. When I called this restaurant, the owner or manager immediately answered and was incredibly friendly. He explained that they offer entrée and plate options for guests who aren't doing the all-you-can-eat menu. I honestly don't understand why more restaurants don't offer this. I know the food industry is competitive and businesses have to make money, but having options for solo diners makes such a difference. When I arrived, I received wonderful service right away, and there was no wait, but they were full. The owner or manager recognized me as the person who had called earlier and went out of his way to make me feel welcome since we found out we're from the same area. He even added a little surprise to my order simply out of kindness. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and attentive. In an area with no shortage of restaurants, I want to give this place the credit it deserves, not only for the excellent food, but for the heart behind the business. Today, I'm especially grateful for the kindness and generosity shown to me. You never know what someone may be going through, and a simple act of thoughtfulness can make a bigger impact than you realize. His kindness truly lifted my spirits after a long and difficult day. I believe this is a small family-owned business, and they absolutely deserve the support of the community. Great food is easy to find; genuine hospitality is much harder to come by. I'll definitely be back!
