We arrived at an off hour around 5 PM, so it was especially peaceful. The menu is simple and straightforward, with a generously curated wine list to match. We ordered the Lemon Ricotta Crab Dip with a delicious house baguette ($19) and the Pepperoni Focaccia Slab ($17), and everything was fantastic. The ambiance, the food, the wine--it all came together perfectly. The gray sky at sunset somehow made the whole experience feel even more atmospheric and intimate. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about both the menu and wine list, and happy to talk about the surrounding area. That little bit of hospitality really stood out to us. We enjoyed happy hour, opened a bottle of wine, and had such a nice time catching up. Sangio's Deli is next to their wine tasting area and serves some great deli food, made primarily from Boar's Heat meats.
