Jhonnatan the manager was very good. He sat with my husband and and I to organize a Pre Fixe menu for a party of 12 for a 50th anniversary celebration. He was attentive, pleasant and very accommodating to what we envisioned. The chef prepared a four course menu that presented very well. The pairings of the wines with each course was very good! Loved it! The waitress explained the wines and why they were chosen for the course. The flavors were spot on. The waitress and helper did very well with all the tables they were tending. Visited recently with my group of girlfriends and so thoroughly enjoyed ourselves- my sister in law who was visiting from LA area became a member at Faulkner Winery. I've heard positive things about the restaurant. Unfortunately, we did not get to explore Falkner winery as we were on a quest to look for a venue to accommodate our wedding anniversary. We met with the manager Jhonathan Morales. He was very helpful and gave us a tour down at the barrel room. They are currently doing construction, but it is a beautiful room with access to an outdoor area with a nice view and picturesque. The food here is delicious and well thought out. Flavorful and tasty all around, I've never had a bad dish here. Crista the server is super attentive and friendly as well as the manager Jonathan is also very friendly and welcoming. I've had the chance to meet the Chef a few times and he is super nice and always willing to talk food if he has the time of course. The Pinnacle Restaurant is located at Falkner Winery and serves a delicious Lunch. We came here after a Yelp search, which we narrowed down to winery restaurants in the area. We made reservations for midweek around one-thirty. The ambiance is white table cloth, with a magnificent view of a green, lush field (photos). It was a perfect way to relax and discuss our wine tasting next door. What we weren't prepared for, was the exquisite meal we were about to enjoy. Pinnacle is only open for lunch, which is sad because the food is soooo good. We choice their 2021 Rosato wine to have with our meal. It was only slightly sweet and went well with our choices. My wife ordered their Chicken Puff Pastry and I had their non-tomato, slightly beefy Puttanesca. Both were so light and flavorful, which yes... did melted in your mouths. Normally I would have gone with a strong and bold Sangiovese, but that would have overwhelmed the flavors of the pasta. The Chicken (photo) had a creamy corn and mushroom topping which was so light and delicious. Most winery restaurants in the Temecula Valley, with Meritage at Calloway being the lone exception, tends to focus on Flatbreads and Charcuterie Boards. Not Pinnacle. Clearly the Chef here deserves kudos for the Menu and execution. If we had more room, we would have gone with their Chocolate Soúffle. Five Stars. read more

We are members of this winery. The food was decent. The waitress was a little court. I know they had 3 waitresses and had a very small crowd (2 other tables) of customers. We asked her to take our photo which would've taken 2 seconds to do. Instead of saying "Let me take the other orders first and i'll get back to you" or "i'll have someone do that" since they did have someone who wasn't doing anything. She responded with, "I can't do that, i have other orders to take". When she finally was free, not once she came to offer if she could take our photo now. Yet, after seeing a large tip she got from us then she offered to take our photos even outside of the restaurant. She was a little rude in my book. read more

Had lunch at the Pinnacle Restaurant today. I had dined here once before over a year ago and did not have the best experience that time. I did not really like my food and even felt a bit sick afterwards. Today we decided to give it another try because my son chose to go here for his birthday lunch. Both times I've been here, it has not been very busy. There were maybe 4-5 other tables being served. The view is great, but the decor, although simple, is a bit dated. The restaurant is large inside, but it lacks an inviting atmosphere. Our server was friendly and did a nice job. I had the BLATT sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty tasty and filling. It was served with house made potato chips that were good, except several of them were burnt. Everyone else in our party ordered a burger, and all agreed it was a good burger. Since it was my son's birthday he was given a complimentary slice of cheesecake which was a nice touch. Overall, this was a much better experience than our previous one and based on this we will probably come back another time and try the dinner entrees again. On a extra hot Temecula day, the last thing I wanted to do was eat lunch outside. Thankfully, the Pinnacle is indoors with AC and they take reservations. For groups of 4 or less, you can book online. It's easy to call for larger parties. The restaurant itself has a beautiful view with a window facing the vineyards stretching across the entire wall. Service was great! They were friendly and attentive to our needs. Food itself was okay. I got the pasta puttanesca and it was fine. Nothing special but not bad either. I did enjoy the complimentary bread and butter at the start of the meal. They offered a free birthday ice cream. The wine here is good so that's a positive. We were party of 20. Were told they can only split the bill in two, so asked everyone to bring cash. We tallied everyone's charges and collected cash, but came out $40 or so short for some reason :( I, being the organizer, just charged on my credit card. Later, looked closely at the receipt and saw a charge of $32 for 8 orders of 'bread.' We received bread and they were very good, BUT, were never told this is a separate charge. Typically, restaurants bring bread to the table as soon a we sit and at no charge. We would have been happy to pay for it, of course, if we were told at the beginning that it will be a separate charge. $32 plus tax & gratuity came to $40 or so... We all thought this was rather sneaky and felt cheated. We advise the restaurant/servers to make this clear at the very beginning. read more

Service was top notch - our waitress was always ensuring we had everything we needed. The Porchetta Sandwich was really like a pork belly slab sandwich and not legitimate Porchetta. Was it good? Heck yes it was good! The flavors were perfect with garlic aioli, soft bread and sauce for the pork belly. Loved the roasted red peppers and arugula. The Chicken Sandwich was not as good. I ate bread for a long time before I got to the chicken, which was dry. Flavors were ok. Side of salad was very well done and the chips were lightly fried. This was a hidden treasure that we happened to stumble upon. As we looked for a breakfast spot in the wine-country area, we discovered two things; 1. Wineries aren't open for breakfast 2. Pinnacle serves a delicious lunch starting at 11:30 am. I won't bore you with the details of our fruitless quest for a fancy breakfast spot. The good news is that we found Pinnacle by calling around. It was just past 11am but they said we were welcome to come early. When we arrived, the restaurant is located above providing a gorgeous view of their land. It's quite a gem as a venue for any event. The entrance to the restaurant is very grand and the dining area is even grander! (Is that a word lol) The hosts were very welcoming and happy to have us there. We were their first customers of the day and they seated us by a window in the middle of the huge space. We were very grateful for our view. We ordered promptly as we were starving by now being forced to shift from waffle cravings to a lunch menu. But we did. The food came out quickly and we were thankful for that. First, the Short-rib Sandwich with homemade potato chips. I still remember my Mama's face when she put the fist chip in her mouth I wish I had the video. Her reaction to the truffle cheese dip and sandwich was just as dramatic. Now we all had to taste it! It was amazing! That bread! Next was the Cheeseburgers- they were top 3 best cheeseburgers ever! So so good! And the french fries were masterfully prepared. Crunchy. Soft. Seasoned. Perfection! My Bowtie Pasta was so beautiful and tasty. I ate every bite. The service was absolutely excellent! I can't believe the ratings from my fellow yelpers, as we literally waited 1.5 hours for our meals to be delivered, amid the cacophony of all the large parties on other tours similarly dining here. And the food was basic diner quality. Service and attentiveness from our server was minimal. Despite our repeated requests from various managers to intercede and speed up our orders, there was zero interest to improve a terrible situation. The acoustics are horrendous, and we could hardly hear each other as we waited, waited, waited. Time 1130 at opening for lunch, on a Friday We're locals, only a few minutes away and thought it would be a nice day for a yummy lunch. We were sat near the windows and I couldn't have asked for a better view. Again... top notch staff. So the food was interesting. The Mac and cheese is no where near what would be consider American style or Baked. The best way to explain it is if you never had French scrambled eggs and you ordered it, expecting something like American scrambled eggs you would be shocked. I didn't say disappointed but shocked. Completely different but I really loved it. I think they make their noodles in house, I could taste a difference. My lobster Mac was delicious. My wife's scallops and shrimp over fettuccine was equally amazing. Price is right in line with what wine country is at. All and all it was a wonderful lunch and we will be back. Please like usually, take my review with a grain of salt. This is why I post times and days because as the place gets busier the service or food times might change for any number of reasons. Stopped by here for lunch after wine tasting at another winery. Food here was delicious. My wife had the grilled octopus and it was to die for. My dad loved the seafood portifino. I decided to be healthy and had the Santa Barbara Salad with added shrimp and it was perfect. I went with the suggested pairing of a Riesling with the salad and they were perfect together. I can't say enough about this restaurant! The 180° view of the vineyards is beautiful. Plus side for the Temecula heat it was indoor and air conditioned. The wine was beautiful. 5..Thank you Tina! I was tasked with finding a venue for my team meeting with members in San Diego and the Inland Empire. Temecula valley is half way. I thought about the "usual"wineries (you know their names) however I am so happy I chose Pinnacle at Falkner. Initially for the views and also because they have a "real" food menu. Not just sandwiches and burgers. Reservations-Tabitha was so patient with me regarding questions from the menu. Birthday desserts, and of course window seats. I asked LOTS of questions and she was patient and professional. She happened to be there that day, made sure our table was ready and also volunteered to set up a table for our gift exchange when she noticed we had presents. (Unheard of- usually you have to ask someone and the. They have to has to talk to a manager yadda yadda) - not here.... She set an extra table up right away for us to display presents for our White Elephant gift exchange. Service- *TINA* was truly the star of this show. Service with a smile. She handled our indecisive party of 8. Delivered excellent service to the divas at the table (me included.. lol) answered questions regarding wine and her suggestions paired well with our dishes. If there were any questions or concerns they were handled with ease and Grace. Corporate card, personal card, alcohol on separate check, different tabs for bottled wine .. no problem. Ask to sit in Tina's section she handled our large group like the pro she is. Serving staff- water cups filled, bread baskets, butter, lemon for tea or water.. oh the many drinks. I know other people in my group thought the food fell really short and the portion on the smaller side. I got the seafood portofino and enjoyed it. It was a little bland but still pretty good. The Pinnacle is a pleasant- looking restaurant, situated with beautiful vineyard and hill views to the West. It is a relatively new place, with large windows, and though the food is good, (which I'll mention in a minute) the place has some serious shortcomings due to a somewhat sterile interior, and because of an extremely high noise level. There is really nothing inside the restaurant to mitigate the noise - high ceilings, big windows, hard floors, no sound attenuation whatsoever. If you visit during a reasonably busy time, you'll have a hard time carrying on even a basic conversation. We had to cup our ears to hear one another ( no exaggeration). And the place suffers as a result. While posing as an upscale dining offering in the Temecula wine country, it falls short of actually being one by ignoring ambience and elevated service as being part and parcel of a fine dining experience. The food is good, but priced on the higher side. Visiting for lunch, we had the crabcake sandwich $25, the charcuterie board $34, and the Seafood Stack $21 ($212 for 4, incl. one glass of wine each and tip) so you can see it is not inexpensive. All lunch items were tasty, featured good-sized portions, and were properly presented. The service was acceptable, but our server was not properly schooled on the wines, nor on the cheeses on the charcuterie board. All in all, it should've been much better. They have a good kitchen, they just need to get the front end in alignment. Quieting it down by 20 or 40 dB would be a good start. read more
