After a few days at Legoland, I needed some comfort food. This restaurant was on the way to Palm Springs so we made a quick stop by. We ordered our noodle soups to-go. The soup was pipping hot and was still able to warm our noodles after over an hour on the road. The soup was delicious and very flavorful. I liked the self serve condiments bar to add more spices. They separate the herb toppings from the noodles in the bo which is super helpful when sharing a bowl with a toddler who is "allergic" to parsley and green onion. Would recommend! read more

Great food and even better service! We stopped in on Mother's Day for takeout as I didn't want to cook and couldn't have been more impressed. We got two bowls, egg rolls, crab rangoons and a Vietnamese coffee and thought everything was very affordable and tasty! I was worried the red curry might be too spicy and the girls working even let me taste it before ordering. Everything was very flavorful. I have to say a big standout point for me was that I came in carrying my baby while my husband had our toddler napping in the car, and the girls working insisted on helping me carry my order to my car, something you don't encounter very often anymore. Somewhat of a long wait for food but the wait is definitely worth it. Hot and delicious. Casual atmosphere in a very clean establishment. I really like the fact that you get served in to go containers. Makes it so much easier to just ask for a lid and take your food home if you can't finish. They do give you a lot of food so I think that's a definite plus for this restaurant. I do wish they had a soda machine with The ability to refill. However, you can buy cans of soda and I'm sure they have ice and a cup if you request it. I like the fact that you can build your own meal if you don't want the pre-selected ones. Each time I come back I am trying something new. The only problem I have ever had is that the chicken meat was breast meat and a little dry but I haven't tried it since so I'm not sure if it has changed. This spot is simply amazing. Showed up about 30 min before closing and was immediately greeted warmly. I knew i wanted the lemongrass bahn mi but I wanted something else. The young lady was very nice and patient with me. I ended up getting the Chapter 2. That garlic shrimp was outstanding and all the veggies were fresh! Now on to that damn sandwich. The Banh mi are so good! My favorite banh mi spot in Temecula. My kids like their chicken pho. I noticed it gets pretty busy during dinner time and it honestly makes me happy to see small businesses thrive but at the same time it looks like they need a little help during the rush because it does take longer for the food to come out. So good! Been here twice now and both times the food was really fresh and tasty. Had a lemongrass vermicelli and a bbq pork vermicelli. It's like a Vietnamese subway/chipotle the way it is setup. Their lemonade is so good I had to get one to go also. It's nice that they have all the sauces out for you to use as much as you would like. A little out of the way in Temecula but worth it. I have ordered the BBQ pork banh mi, which has good crisp bread and yummy BBQ pork. My favorite from this shop is the Chapter 1 Noodle bowl (basically bun thit nuong) with their lemongrass beef. This beef is so flavorful and was grilled fresh, served with fresh veggies and you can add sauces as you like. I've also had their grilled shrimp which is also tasty. Was in town for a weekend and was craving some authentic Vietnamese but scared it wouldn't live up to what I've had at home and in Little Saigon in OC. Was pleasantly surprised by this place!! Think of it kind of like a Viet version of chipotle where you can pick what goes into your bowl. HUGE portions!!
