Food here is delicious. The location is somewhat hard to find because the small and blends in with the background. It's to the left of a boba shop. You can make your own bowl, sandwich, or choose from their favorites. The three in my party chose from their favorites. Staff is very friendly, it's easy to order at the counter and they bring your food to you in to go co toners then you can add your own condiments and toppings. I had the Chapter Two (noodle story, punny) with garlic shrimp. At first it looked kind of small until I started eating it and couldn't finish my bowl. All of the ingredients were very fresh and delicious. I added sesame seeds, friend onion and peanuts to my bowl since they are just always my favorites. My husband had the bahn mi sandwich and he said the pork was really tasty with really fresh bread. My daughter had Chapter Three which is chicken curry with noodles. Said it wasn't spicy but had lots of flavor. Served with fresh veggies on the side. Food was prepared and delivered quickly. Seems like they do a lot of take out and do it well. We were in Temecula for a swim meet and it was a great way to finish the weekend. Will definitely bookmark it for the future.
Service was okay not the greatest but the flavor of chapter 3 was good spicy but not too spicy where it over powers the noodles. The pho was okay not hot enough.
This place has quickly become our favorite noodle restaurant. We have been here several times now and the service and food are always amazing. Fresh vegetables and flavorful proteins make each dish a new STORY. The interior ambience is relaxing. If you happen to be in Temecula, stop by and give them a try. I highly recommend the Udon noodles or Banh Mi sandwich.
This place uses some of the freshest ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. Their bowls are always fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Also, they have the best crab rangoons!! The staff is consistently friendly and efficient, making every visit a pleasant experience. I also appreciate how clean and spacious the restaurant is. Definitely one of my favorite spots!

They do give you a lot of food so I think that's a definite plus for this restaurant. I do wish they had a soda machine with The ability to refill. However, you can buy cans of soda and I'm sure they have ice and a cup if you request it. I like the fact that you can build your own meal if you don't want the pre-selected ones. Each time I come back I am trying something new. The only problem I have ever had is that the chicken meat was breast meat and a little dry but I haven't tried it since so I'm not sure if it has changed. The pictures probably tell it all and we will be back again and again. I hope the best of success for what seems to be a small, family-owned business.

The garlic shrimp is so flavorful and the tiger sauce is perfection. The veggies are so fresh and the rice noodles make it feel like a lighter meal. I did try an order of the crab rangoons and they were so good! The flavor of the cream cheese and the dipping sauce was a great pairing. I hope to branch out next time I visit, because I really want to try a banh mi!
Just minutes from my house and I finally made it here!! The place has a cool vibe, nicely decorated, clean, inviting, we were greeted immediately. The aroma of lemongrass beef cooking, was mouth watering!!! Lots of great options, dry bowls, soups and appetizers....great noodle selection and toppings to choose from. Will definitely be back to try out the different bowl options, pho was delicious.
If you want a friggan delicious meal. You've come to the right place. I personally recommend Chapter 3 on the menu. With Udon and Lemon Grass Beef with extra Boo Choi. You shan't be disappointed. Shant I say!
I want to love this place as it's independently owned, but unfortunately the food was just ok. I ordered their Bahn Mai with lemongrass beef. The beef was good with flavor but the rest of sandwich was ehhhhhh...the bread needs to be fresh with a crisp as well as the herbs and vegetables. The vegetables did not taste fresh, were they from a prepared bag? The vegetable preparation is not in line with usual bahn mai sandwiches: which is critical to the overall sandwich. The soup was better/ the flavoring was good. Price is not bad for the food. Service was good: friendly Ambiance: the dining area decor was basic but clean. Plenty of parking outside the restaurant in the lot
Love their bbq pork banh mi! This is my first review but I've eaten here a handful of times and I've only ordered the pork and chicken banh mi. It's that good! Generous amount of grilled meat, warm toasted baguette with healthy veggies. Ask for the jalapeños on the side if you don't want it too spicy. Love that it is made to order. Appreciate the fresh, quality ingredients.

10/10 so good. Fresh ingredients! Owners are always here, everyone is super helpful and friendly, and I love how clean the space is. The meat quality is good! I can't stand getting chunks of fat in my food and they really deliver on quality and flavorful proteins! They also don't add in MSG which is super hard to find and 100% appreciated! We came back again 2 days after our first visit because we thoroughly enjoyed it!
As someone who is a huge BIGGG BACKER, honestly, this place was amazing. No complaints at all. We got the beef bowl and the red curry and both were amazing. The flavor was top tier. Def going to be a frequent spot for us

A Noodle Story is a nice fast-casual spot! You order and pay at the counter first, and then they bring your food out in a to-go container. I actually really liked this setup because it makes everything super easy and convenient--easy to eat, and there's not much cleanup afterward. My husband ordered the chicken pho soup with rice noodles and added shrimp. The shrimp tasted fresh and was really good, although the broth was a little on the sweeter side for our taste. I ordered the red curry soup with rice noodles and tofu. I was expecting regular white tofu, but it actually comes with fried tofu, which I still enjoyed. I also added chicken for an extra $4, but unfortunately the chicken was a little tough and chewy. Next time, I'd skip the chicken and add shrimp instead. Overall, I really enjoyed the red curry noodle soup--it was so flavorful and delicious! I would definitely come back, especially for the red curry noodle soup. read more

This spot is simply amazing. Showed up about 30 min before closing and was immediately greeted warmly. I knew i wanted the lemongrass bahn mi but I wanted something else. The young lady was very nice and patient with me. I ended up getting the Chapter 2. That garlic shrimp was outstanding and all the veggies were fresh! Now on to that damn sandwich. It was the best Bahn Mi I've had in my life. The flavors coming out of it were mind blowing! The portions were huge. We all know how some places get real skimpy, not them! Oh and the place was spotless, with plenty of seating, and an amazing condiment bar. Needless to say, I will be returning often. 10 out of 10 would recommend. read more

This place is amazing! Really authentic Vietnamese flavors especially for their vermicelli plates. We ordered their Chapter 1 and decided to add garlic shrimp to it as well. I used to live in Orange County and also have made this at home. It's so nice to have a place just as good in the area. Their portions are a great size. I love that they have a condiments station that you can help yourselves. We've been here twice and both times service was friendly and quick. The restaurant is spacious and always clean, which I really appreciate. Their lychee lemonade is also really tasty and refreshing too. Can't go wrong with this place :) read more

First time here after seeing its reviews Instagram and so glad I took the ride out for a meal. Super clean and cute set up on the inside, yes the squeaky door is annoying but DANG it sure does smell good in there! The waitress are so helpful and have so much patience with new timers like myself and help you pick out what you are looking for. I did a pick up order for their lemongrass beef banh mi. The restaurant was empty, but it was after lunch hours. It was also very clean in there. I picked it up for dinner so I wasn't able to eat it till a couple hours later. But the sandwich was still delicious, and the bread still a little crispy. The beef was lean, but very tender, flavorful, & had a great char grilled flavor. I'm a fan. Looking forward to trying the noodle dishes next. read more

Tonight was my first time at A Noodle Story. My husband and I had been here once before but it had been so crowded that time and we were told when we walked in that it would be about a 45 minute wait, so we went somewhere else. Lucky for us, tonight we were able to come right in and get a table. The place is small and super casual, but it was clean, the staff was friendly, and it smelled amazing! I ordered the Chapter 1 bowl and a Thai Lemonade. My bowl was delicious! The beef was so flavorful and tender. At first I wasn't sure about the cold noodles, but once everything was mixed together, and the sauce was added, it was just great! I had never had a Thai lemonade, and it was SO good. It was fragrant, and sweet, and was the perfect compliment to my bowl. I will definitely be craving the wonderful meal I had tonight at A Noodle Story, and I look forward to going back and trying other things! read more

First time visiting "A Noodle Story" and the food was great. We came with a large family, including a highly active 5-year-old. We all enjoyed ourselves. It is not a large restaurant, and it was busy. We were lucky to find a table. Even though it was busy, the food came out hot and timely, and oh so good. We had various rice bowls and some chicken pho. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of the other items on the menu. read more

A Noodle Story, 43810 Butterfield Stage Rd, Unit 102, Temecula, CA92592. Vietnamese food. The concept of "Build-Your-Own" is getting more popular these days, giving the option of customizing your order. Nice and clean eatery. Friendly staff. Everything is served in to-go plastic containers even when you dine in so that if/when you bring home left-overs, you just have to ask for a lid and you're ready to go. We ordered both dry and soup version of noodle. I almost regretted ordering the soup version as soon as it came. There was only tasteless beef floating around with something that tasted like boiled water poured over it. It was so so bland and honestly quite awful. However, the dry version was a complete opposite. It was so flavorful and generous with the meat. We'll definitely stick with the dry version the next time we visit. read more

I love this place! The food is full of flavor and fresh. I really enjoy the bowls. I don't live very close so I have only been here twice but each time was just as good as the last! I really want to try the red curry with chicken. It's on my list for next time. I have tried the chicken bowl with all the fixings and the tiger sauce. Be careful it's spicy but if you like that, then it's perfect for you! Service as fast and friendly. I really love the decor inside it's simple but aesthetically pleasing. I hope this restaurant expands to other cities nearby! (Menifee/murrieta) I will be back! read more

Should we make a reservation (looking at 6:00 p.m.) or is there enough seating?
It's fast casual, you order at the counter and seat yourself. They don't have reservations but there is usually a table or two open when I've been there.
Do you have Vegan options?
They have vegetarian for sure. If you build your own bowl yes but the chapters or premade ones are not.
