It was our first time to visit the SLR and we glad tried it! It's right next to Luna Grill, so we had options if the place is packed but luckily there was one available table good for 2 people. We waited quite a bit to get assistance because it was a very Saturday afternoon. We got the pork bowl and Garlic truffle ramen. Both were pretty tasty and happy with our meal. Finally found a solid ramen place in Temecula! It's definitely not the best compared to ramen joints in LA or SD, but it's great for Temecula standards! As someone who was stationed in Japan for over 6 years, I've been on a mission since returning to the U.S. to find a ramen shop that even comes close to the quality of our favorite spot back in Japan. Today, that search finally ended at Silverlake Ramen in Murrieta. I brought my son here because he was craving ramen and from the first sip, I was transported back across the Pacific. We had the Classic Tonkotsu and it was fantastic. The broth is what makes or breaks ramen and this was Japan quality flavor. It was deep, rich and had the full, authentic umami you expect from a masterful bowl. The noodles were also perfectly cooked, maintaining that excellent texture right to the last drop. This bowl is the real deal. My son's ultimate rating says it all. When I asked him what he thought, he immediately gave it a 10 out of 10. This is, hands down, the best ramen I have tried here in Murrieta. If you want true, authentic Japanese flavor, look no further. Highly recommend! read more

This place is usually ok sometimes they mess up my order and then they fix it no big deal, but just today I had a horrible in-person experience. My friend placed an order for me last night through Uber Eats scheduled to be picked up this afternoon. When I picked up the food, I noticed it was not what I requested so I drove back to the restaurant and Lightheartedly, I asked if I could exchange it for what I actually wanted. They came across extremely aggressive, as if I was trying to pull a fast one on the restaurant. Very reluctant, mean, and even giggling, saying it couldn't be exchanged because the receipt showed it was placed through Uber Eats the night prior--despite the fact it was scheduled for pickup this afternoon I explained to them. What made this whole situation worse was the unprofessional sarcasm, the dismissive "come on man" attitude out of the managers mouth, in a profiling tone. A polite explanation would've been fine, but the way I was treated was unacceptable second class vibes. Well HOT DAMN!!!! There is FINALLY a legit ramen joint in the area... thank you, Silverlake Ramen, for bringing your noody goodness to Temecula! I have searched high and low across the valley for San Diego/Orange County-esque ramen and am glad to say it has arrived at long last. I went in to try it out for the first time because everyone knows I'm not an LA person, nor do I like driving there, lol. I know I'm probably missing out on a lot of good grub out there, but this is one less thing to worry about. I was still skeptical as I walked in, thinking it would be similar to other places around here. I was so happy to be mistaken!! I ordered the Classic Tonkotsu Combo, which came with a choice of an appetizer. I picked the Pork Bun. It came out first, and it was such a thing of beauty! The Tonkotsu Ramen came shortly after, and this is where I got excited. Although the broth wasn't piping hot like I'm used to, it was there on every level. It wasn't lacking any flavor, and the creaminess was lip-smacking delish! I do wish it came with a whole Seasoned Boiled Egg, but it only came with half and one piece of pork. Most places give at least 2. The pork was well seasoned, and it was tender, so props for that! The noods seemed a bit stiff at first. I'm not sure if they are made in-house daily, but I let it sit a while in the broth to "cook" a bit more. As you can see, I left nothing behind. The meal was filling and worth the $20. Sophia provided exceptional customer service with a smile from beginning to end. The restaurant is clean and spacious, good for groups, family, or a solo meal. I would have loved to give that 5th star, but the half egg, one piece of pork and broth that wasn't steaming hot, held it back. It's all good, though. This is by far the best ramen in the IE if you ask me. Find it at the Promenade in Temecula between Luna Grill and Lululemon. FYI, I read from other reviews that they do give a military discount with valid I.D., but I didn't do it this time since I ordered a combo, which was already discounted.
