Ghost pepper kimchi...with a little soy sauce added.
Ally C.

Better this time than the first, food was very good and the warm sake the perfect compliment even to my spicy soup. Though I love all things spicy, the ghost pepper kimchi was good, but not great. I think you should offer a regular kimchi too. The soybeans with fried garlic and spice are the bomb!!!

The restaurant was really cute inside. The food and service were good as well. The ramen broth wasn't as flavorful as other places I've been. If you're someone that likes spicy food, their spicy level is actually spicy. Overall I enjoyed my time and would go back.

Black Garlic Truffle and Grilled Gyoza 6 pcs

We tried Silverlake Ramen and really enjoyed it overall! My husband ordered the Garlic Black Truffle Ramen, which was rich, garlicky, and full of flavor. I went with the Classic Ramen and loaded it up with extra egg, corn, bamboo shoots, micro cilantro, and garlic mushrooms, plus a side of chili paste to give the broth a nice kick. I also got the combo with gyoza (the sauce wasn't my favorite, but the gyoza itself was good) and the spicy tuna on crispy rice, which was amazing! The service was friendly and fast, and it's a cute little spot overall though I have to say, the music was pretty bad and didn't really match the vibe. Still, the food made up for it, and we'll definitely be back for the ramen!

First time here. I would come back again. I think it's good comfort food. Temecula doesn't have very many good ramen spots. The service is friendly and efficient. Decent space, but limited seating. Wouldn't recommend coming here with a large party, but I'm sure they can accommodate. My family and I came here trying everything and we all left with empty plates.

I was craving ramen on a cold day and this place did not disappoint. This restaurant is located in the Temecula promenade area. We parked in the nearby garage and walked over. We shared edamame and garlic truffle ramen and it was good. If you're hungry, you'll definitely need your own ramen order.

Really good ramen, coming from someone who is Japanese. Honestly really yummy and 20$ for a bowl of ramen and an entree is pretty good in my opinion! Will be back soon. Only complaint is the layout is pretty packed and congested but it's so good it doesn't even affect my review honestly.

Came here on Tuesday Lunch when not that crowded. Not much good impression as first timer as when I entered and waited to be seated, the wait staff did not interact with other guests, instead was busy with stocking beverage in a jar, which can be hold and seat me first. I was literally standing for 5 mins to be seated. Once I seated I ordered the great value combo (selected ramen & selected appetizer) for $20. Ordered spicy blaze Ramen which was great as usual, I ordered spicy and they have it on the side which can be mixed according to preference. The downside was popcorn chicken, it was mushy, and not taste crunchy at all. Been in some other locations and this was not great in terms of service.

Tonkotsu with loads of fresh garlic!

This is the closest from my favorite ramen joint in San Diego that has unfortunately closed shop already,Ramen Yamadaya in Clairemont. They have the closest taste with their bone broth, tonkotsu to that of Ramen Yamadaya. Glad Silverlake opened one here in Temecula. Very conveniently located at the mall. Love their Tonkotsu with black truffle oil. Their combo set is great as well with lots of pairing choices. So when ramen fix is needed, this is the place to be for me! With fresh garlic please!

Finally found a solid ramen place in Temecula! It's definitely not the best compared to ramen joints in LA or SD, but it's great for Temecula standards! This restaurant is located in the Promenade Mall shopping center which is probably the only downside. Otherwise, it's clean, has a chill vibe, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I tried the Blaze Spicy Tonkotsu with pork chashu. The pork was tender, and the seasoned egg was cooked just right. The broth also had a nice kick, not too spicy. They could probably kick it up a notch! I'll definitely be coming back!

Very tasty food. Loved the ramen and had a couple rolls of sushi. Beware that the oyster shooter has liquor in it! My wife did not read that part and had a surprise when she finished it. But she did say it was good, just wasn't expected the liquor. The place looks big on the inside considering it looks small on the outside. Overall service was fast and friendly, and even offered a military discount. Gotta love that! Will return again when we are in the area.

Sapporo and Gyoza
Jose V.

Service of food was fast and simple. Came after about lunch time on a saturday. The Gyoza was delicious in the spicy mayo sauce and the ramen came out hot and spicy. The fiancé likes spicy but even her order of High Spicy was alot for her. She enjoyed it. A star off just due to something missing in the broth but truly good.

Spicy Ramen (medium) with pork
Kimberly M.

Spicy Ramen (medium) with pork was very flavorful and the pork was cut thick and really tender. The $20 combo is such an amazing deal. I ate the chicken kaarage too fast before I remembered to take a pic. Service was quick midweek at lunchtime.

Finally, Temecula has ramen that is worth eating! Here you go: Food - 4/5: Nice broth, fair noodles and decent chashu. Overall, it can satisfy your craving for Hiro Nori, Menya, Ramen Nagi if you are in the Temecula area. The chicken karaage is also good. Service - 4/5: The staff is friendly, helpful and food comes out quickly. We've only had an issue when the place was crowded. Vibe - 4/5: The place is small with about 15 tables, 8 or so chairs at bar, and no outside seating. The decor feels fresh and bright, it's always clean and the restrooms are nice. Recommend: Chicken Karaage; Garlic Truffle Ramen

Perfect for anniversary dinner:…read more Omakase sushi is one of the most refined and memorable dining experiences you can have, especially if you appreciate attention to detail, freshness, and craftsmanship. From the moment you sit down, there's a clear sense that this is not just a meal--it's a curated journey guided entirely by the chef's expertise and intuition. What makes omakase stand out is the trust you place in the chef. Instead of choosing dishes yourself, you allow the chef to present a sequence of sushi that highlights the best ingredients available that day. This often results in a progression that feels intentional and balanced, starting with lighter, more delicate flavors and gradually moving toward richer, more complex pieces. Each bite is thoughtfully designed to showcase the natural qualities of the fish, the texture of the rice, and the subtle interplay of seasoning. The freshness of the ingredients is immediately noticeable. High-quality omakase typically features fish flown in from top markets, and you can taste the difference. The fish is clean, tender, and often melts in your mouth. The rice, which is just as important as the fish, is seasoned perfectly--slightly warm, lightly vinegared, and shaped with precision so it holds together without being dense. Another standout aspect is the craftsmanship. Watching the chef prepare each piece right in front of you adds a level of appreciation you don't get with standard dining. Every movement is deliberate, from slicing the fish to forming the rice to brushing on just the right amount of soy or adding a touch of wasabi. It becomes clear that years of training and discipline go into even the simplest-looking piece of sushi. Omakase also introduces you to varieties of fish and preparations you might never order on your own. This expands your palate and helps you discover new favorites. Seasonal ingredients often play a role, which keeps the experience dynamic and unique each time you go. Service is typically intimate and attentive, especially if you're seated at the counter. The chef may explain each piece, offer guidance on how to eat it, or adjust the pacing based on your preferences. This interaction adds a personal element that enhances the overall experience. While omakase can be more expensive than regular sushi, the value lies in the quality, skill, and overall experience. It's not just about eating--it's about enjoying a carefully orchestrated meal that reflects both tradition and creativity. Overall, omakase sushi delivers a level of quality and thoughtfulness that's hard to match. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines artistry, flavor, and a sense of occasion, omakase is absolutely worth it.

I especially liked the crunchy texture. For an entree, I had the Cold Ramen. It was perfect. The noodles were chewy with excellent bouncyness. Rockin' Ramen places some super-finely shredded cabbage on top, and let me tell ya, this added a whole other dimension of texture and a little extra roughage. The Chasu was wonderful and nearly melted in my mouth. The soft boiled egg was magnificent! The other components of the dish were great too- like the corn, spring salad mix, fishcake and Krab. It was all great! Above all, the Japanese dressing that came with it was sheer perfection and took the dish to next level. The food was an excellent value as I was able to make 2 separate meals out of the one serving. Such a great deal! The location is prime and in the middle of the Old Town area. The bad: The chicken was tough and seemed microwaved. It lacked grill flavor and the rice also seemed old. The vegetables weren't tender and also were lackluster in flavor. Food was all served in to-go containers even though we dined in. The interior is well-decorated with booths and tables to choose from. We were seated at a larger table for 5 adults. Once we were seated, we asked about the all you can eat service and were told to order from a paper. They give you 3 rounds to order whatever you'd like that's available on the menu. Lunch and dinner have different prices and a few more options available for dinner specifically. While filling out the forms, our servers were very good about checking in with us, double-checking if our paper order was ready or not without rushing us, and refilling drinks whenever we were less than halfway done. The quality of the sushi is really good. I felt like the nigiri was really had really good quality fish with a nice bit of seasoning. Each bite felt fresh and easy to eat. Having just moved here from a beach community, I was spoiled by a superb sushi restaurant in San Clemente. Though, my boyfriend loves this place for the all you can eat sushi, but he orders his same thing every time (Mexican roll), and the White House (a heavy cream baked fish) I always order something along the lines of a Rainbow Roll or a Superman Burrito (ahi hand-roll , which I don't think they had), I lean towards fresh ahi tuna, salmon and yellowtail selections. First off, my sake was lukewarm, whereas, I like hot sake. They did reheat it, so it improved it. They had an odd selection of alcoholic drinks: screwdriver, jack and coke, and Long Island iced tea, type of cocktails. Strange, but ok, whatever is a crowd pleaser. The fish to me didn't taste very fresh and seemed more chewy, especially the shrimp. I tried the White House, which tasted fine, but it was so heavy with thick cream sauce. Overall, I guess, it just didn't measure up to the quality that I am used to, comparatively. The vinyl booths were outdated, and dishes made me feel like I was in a cafeteria, white and light plastic. This change would probably elevate the experience and, possibly, even make the food present and taste better. However, maybe this is the theme that they are going for. Though all of those things should be improved upon, I do have to say that the staff was very attentive and kind. I know that a lot of people love this place for their reasons, and my best experience there was them. The last comment I will add is that, when it comes to celebrating a birthday, the celebratory music that is played, is just too loud. A small adjustment in volume would be efficient enough to make someone's day a better one. Maybe, in a few months, I'll try the establishment out again and see how they're doing. Sometimes, just by drawing a fine line on what type of experience you want customer's to have, can make all the difference. Sometimes, less is more. Just don't lose the staff, great customer service does really count.
