I had to find the manager to get our bill, and he said they were short-handed, but that's still no excuse for poor service. The line dancing was beginner-friendly, so even if you've never done it before, you'll catch on pretty quickly. Also... the little golf cart shuttle that takes you back to the parking lot afterward? The "charcuterie board" came in a square paper box and for $42.00, I expected a much better presentation and options. Honestly, it just felt blah and wasn't what I would typically expect from a winery. Overall, the wine, service, and beautiful surroundings made for an enjoyable visit. Inside, the ambiance reminds me of Nor Cal - SF with a cool neighborhood restaurant where the surrounding area melts away. It's classy yet unpretentious. We took my Yelp friend Lori out for her birthday and we all chose the price fixe meal. The entrance can be confusing only because the front door jams shut and one has to go through the back of the restaurant. You get 4 course plus a bread course and amuse bouche. Let's pause for the bread course. This bite sized piece of heaven is otherworldly. They need to serve more of it throughout the meal. The chef's starter was lovely and then we settled into our meal. It will be European style service so definitely let them know if you need to hit a show or movie. From the four courses we tried a bit of everything: Beef tartar (wonderful and innovative version of this dish), foraged mushrooms, charred cabbage, beet passionfruit salad, filet mignon, duck confit, and the only dessert that matters: charred butter cake. All were stellar!! Not a miss on the menu and all at 5 star quality. We also had tea and a cocktail, again both were outstanding. The service needs refinement though. It's a step below Michelin level fine dining indeed. I brought two bottles of wine, corkage $25 each, and never once was our glasses filled. I filled up everyone's glasses all night. This was irritating as not only did I pay corkage, but they added $10 tip to corkage with automatic 20% tip at end. The server did not deserve that extra $10 although she was lovely throughout the meal except for one more misstep. After the main meal was over, I wanted to have some more of that wondrous bread and was told the kitchen was closed. We were never warned about this. Every restaurant tells the guests at least 15 minutes before the kitchen closes. We actually had more people join us and we tried to ask if we could also have the table next to us, but unfortunately they had full reservations. However, one of the servers was able to put another table at the end with extra chairs which was perfect. All of the staff provided excellent customer service and our server was on top of everything! We had a large group and she made sure to get us everything we needed and made sure to refill our water carafes since it was hot out. Not only was their service fantastic, but their food was also delicious! I ordered the mango habanero wings which were sweet and not too spicy, as well as their cajun fries. The fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned. My friends ordered pizzas and salads and they enjoyed their food as well. I will definitely come back here for the food and also try their wine!

Delivering a draft beer with a thick tall head of foam is ripping off the customer. As soon as the foam settles the beer is down by about ten sips. It's nice that the happy hour reduces appetizer costs by a few dollars but not even one of the appetizers can be considered on the healthy side. Way too many hungry mosquitos on the small patio. Maybe consider placing some sort of mosquito deflectors from Amazon out front.
