Excellent place for dinner with a group. It had a fun wiccan vibe with the recurring goat theme. Staff is friendly and attentive. We got cheese bread, meatballs, strawberry salad, and steak pizza. Cheese bread- Dough is chewy with a crisp edge. It was stuffed with a gooey cheese blend that is mild and creamy. Served with a side of marinara. Meatballs- Big enough to share and very tasty. You get a hint of fennel and a melted cheese topping. Served with crusty bread slices. Strawberry Salad- Fresh and fruity with sharp arugula, sweet strawberry slices, and a balsamic dressing. Gave our meal a lovely brightness. Steak Pizza- Can't get enough of their dough! The cheese is perfect with a nice pull, and the steak is juicy with a smoky sear. Very filling. Great experience overall!
Came here before a concert so we were on a time crunch. Checked in prior to arriving but unfortunately still had to wait 25 minutes once we arrived. Once inside the service was great even though they were busy. It was a lively atmosphere, everyone having a good night. We ordered the seasonal watermelon sangria that was delightful! We then split an amazing salad and prosciutto pizza!!! Soooooooo good! The food was the star!!
Check in on Yelp before you arrive for less wait time! Visiting from out of town we came to celebrate my birthday. This place is definitely worth a stop. You have to order the Goat & Vine salad and Summer in Italy pizza. The salad with champagne vinaigrette, strawberries, and tomatoes was so fresh, refreshing, and perfect for summer. The new seasonal Summer in Italy pizza with prosciutto, and it was delicious. We also had the seasonal watermelon sangria, which was served with a slice of fresh watermelon. The decor is so cute and makes the whole place feel fun and inviting. Romy was a great server and even had adorable watermelon earrings that matched the summer vibe. They also have nice, clean bathrooms nearby. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in town.
Nice, classy restaurant with plenty of seating. Our server, Cyrus, was very attentive. He checked in with us in the right amount of frequency such that it was not intrusive of our conversation. Hubby ordered the chicken salad (small) and I ordered the chicken salad sandwich. The salad was pretty hefty so we were able to share it. The sandwich was thick and had a generous amount of chicken salad filling. It came with lots of potato chips. My husband and I both thought the salad dressing and the chicken in the salad were pretty salty. I did not like the dressing at all. The appearance and ingredients gives an expectation of a Chinese chicken salad dressing (sesame) but to my disappointment, it was far from it. I appreciated that the chicken salad sandwich did not have too much mayonnaise. However, the sandwich itself could have used a thin layer of mayo as it was a bit dry. The grapes in the sandwich added a pleasant sweetness to it.
I've been to The Goat & Vine several times & I come here for the pizza. Specifically, the Hatch Chili Honey Chicken Pizza. It is always such a crowd pleaser. I love the caramelized onions, avocado & cilantro on it. It's a nice sized 14" pizza and good for folks to share. The pizza was delicious as always, too! Today, we also ordered the Caesar salad, and it was definitely a miss. It is also extremely expensive at $17. While it was generously sized, the salad was messy & falling off of the plate. The lettuce was too flimsy and did not have the classic Caesar crunch. The dressing was slopped on the lettuce in globs and was not uniformly mixed. The dressing was also very mustard-forward and too strong. Needless to say, I will not order it again! The restaurant is comfortable inside and serves a range of pizzas, sandwiches & starters. They also have some great desserts as well. They have a full bar. Service was pleasant and efficient. Parking is plentiful on the street and in the surrounding free garages. Peace.

Food is AMAZING! I've been here on multiple dates with my boyfriend and everytime it gets better! We always get the cheesy bread sticks with marinara, the Caesar salad (honestly the best part!) and a pizza. Located at the edge of Old Town Temecula so parking is easier than deeper into the Main Street. Beautiful interior and aesthetic. High quality food and drinks, I have been wanting to come here for years and was impressed. The waiter was super knowledgeable. They have a completely separate area for their GF pizzas, which put my husband w celiac at ease. We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was quite busy but we were able to sit at the "bar" right away. I had the orange blossom mocktail which was herbal and light and delicious. We ordered the GF jalapeño lime carnitas pizza, and it was soo good. Really great combination of curated ingredients. I definitely want to try more of their unique pizzas.

Definitely a great spot for pizza with elevated specialty topping combinations. The restaurant was decorated with wood and moss for a rustic forest look. There is plenty of free parking available on the street or in nearby free structures.
Wow the pizza here definitely lived up to the hype! This place is by far the most reviewed on Yelp in the area so I knew I had to check it out. Joined the waitlist around noon on a Sunday and got seated at 1:30 - definitely join the waitlist ASAP as the wait can get really long, up to 2-3 hours. Keep in mind the pizzas can take up to 30 minutes as well. Our server was aware that we were on a time crunch and was very nice about checking in with us throughout our meal We got the goat and vine salad - mixed greens, strawberries, tomatoes, goat cheese, and champagne vinaigrette. Tasty and refreshing We went with the You Confit Me pizza - fennel sausage, ricotta, hatch chile honey, garlic confit, mozzarella and Parmesan, and added mushrooms as well. It was SO good. The perfect balance of savory, garlicky, sweet, and creamy. The pizza dough was perfectly baked and had a nice crunch to it. I can see why it's so highly rated! The decor was cute, modern, a bit industrial. Definitely a good spot for a date night or nice lunch or dinner celebration. Would definitely come back again for this pizza!

We walked in 8 minutes EARLY and the guy cleaning told us they were not opened. We asked if we can sit and wait inside and he said no. Wow.. really? The door is wide open.. means welcome in! lol! Glad we stayed. The pizza dough crust is well worth the visit despite the initial encounter. I'll come back for the food! We split the goat cheese pizza (pretty much everything had goat in it.) No pun intended. It only comes 14 inches. Sounds pretty big, but worth it! We split the large the salad.
Goat & Vine is an Italian restaurant located in the heart of Old Town Temecula. They offer pizzas, cold and hot sandwiches, and salads. There was free parking at the parking garage across the street. We put our name on the Yelp waitlist right when they opened and were seated within 45 minutes for a party of two. The mother's meatballs ($21) came with big two meatballs and were flavorful and cheesy. It also came with cheesy bread which was nice to dip into the tomato sauce. The jalapeño lime carnitas pizza ($30) was like a taco on pizza; it was cheesy but I thought it could've used more carnitas. The spicy italian sandwich ($18.50) was good with lots of meat and a hint of spice. The location is super central so it's usually packed. The pizzas are the most popular things here but they also have other offerings as well as cocktails, beers, and wine.

I stopped by The Goat and Vine in Temecula and had a really enjoyable lunch. The stone hearth kitchen vibe is welcoming, the service was attentive, and you can tell they put care into making things from scratch. The You Confit Me pizza was a highlight. It's garlic confit done right, paired with fennel sausage, fresh mozzarella, a touch of hatch chile honey for sweetness and heat, plus ricotta and red pepper flakes. It had great balance, a crispy yet chewy crust from the hearth, and the flavors popped without being overpowering. Definitely one I'll order again. The Favorite Turkey Sandwich on their house made sourdough was also excellent. Roasted turkey, creamy French brie, basil aioli, fig and balsamic compote, sprouts, and red onion came together beautifully. The sweet-savory combo from the figs really made it. Everything was tasty and well-prepared, the portions are generous and prices fair for the quality. Overall a great experience and I'd happily return to try more pizzas or their other sandwiches. The restaurant itself is chic, esthetic and alluring. Definitely a vibe. My husband and I were seated at the bar and we had the most amazing experience. The bartender, Anthony, was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Orange Blossom Spritz Mocktail and it transported me to Italy. The aromatic flavors made me melt. Watching Anthony put it together was fun. He is a true professional and you can tell that he enjoys what he does. For food, we ordered the Breadsticks with House Sauce and the Hatch Chile Honey Chicken Pizza. Everything is freshly prepared and incredible! Cute little busy restaurant nestled on the side of Old Town Temecula. It's a very popular restaurant and I have been eager to visit. I signed up on the waiting list and was #8. I waited maybe 25 mins. Kristen was my server. Super sweet and very friendly. I ordered the hatch chile honey bucket sandwich. It was ok. Nothing that stood out. Blackened chicken, aioli, avocado and caramelized onions served with house chops. I also ordered El Guapo margarita. It was a raspberry margarita that was really good. Kristen suggested it and it was a great choice. I will probably visit again but definitely try their pizza or salad. read more
Kristin was our server and she was great. All the food we had was delicious. We did the waitlist on Yelp even though it was a Monday night. We got there 10 minutes before the waitlist said our table would be ready and The hostess said we had a half an hour wait. So we were a little disappointed, but we waited and it was really only 10 minutes. The place is adorable and the food is delicious and just looking at everybody's food. Everything looked amazing. We had the best Chinese chicken salad that we've ever had and we also had the hot honey pepperoni pizza. read more
Of all the places I went in Temecula over a three week period, The GOAT & Vine was #1! Amazing food, service , beverages and ambiance. The GOAT & Vine salad with oven roasted chicken was divine, as was the Saloon steak sandwich and the Favorite Turkey sandwich. I'm not sure if I recommend this place if you wanna make it like a local spot you always go to it was really fun to try. I probably will try it again but now I've learned on the food portions a I'm not sure if I recommend this place if you're looking for a local hangout. It was definitely fun to try, but I've learned a thing or two about food portions and sizes. I started with the chicken pesto sandwich, which was doused in olives. It was horrible. I'm not going to judge it solely on that, but the sourdough bread was also so hard that it irritated my gums. Our waitress was very kind, and she took care of all our needs. However, she didn't seem particularly interested in hearing about the food. On the other hand, their pizza was amazing, their cheese bread was outstanding, and the salads were surprisingly large and delicious. The ginger beer, though, was flat. We brought it to her attention, but she didn't seem to care. We also waited 45 minutes for a table on a Tuesday. I ordered a lemonade, thinking it was made like fresh lemonade, but it definitely wasn't. If it was made fresh, they need to revamp their process. Overall, I'm just pointing out the things that didn't work for me. The restaurant itself is cool, and the vibe is good. The food was also good, but there were just a few small details that affected my visit. read more

The salad was really fresh and the pizza was delicious -- the dough had an amazing texture. Really great spot for a casual lunch! I always love coming here the food is amazing. There was a bit of a wait as there is for anything good so we took a seat at the bar while we waited. Our cocktails were delicious and the bartender was very friendly. Once seated at our table we were greeted right away and our server was also very sweet. We decided on a caeser salad and the carnitas pizza (one of my favorites, I also recommend the Thailand pizza!). My friend who had never tried the pizza was blown away, it's so dang good. We stopped by for a late afternoon girl's lunch. Everything here was spectacular!!! The service was great and everything was so fresh. We got the hummus board and it was insane! It was so much food, definitely a great bang for your buck and the hummus itself was fire! The vibe was super chill and welcoming. We also got a salad which was very good. We added blackened chicken and while the chicken was good, I don't think the salad needed it. Overall, this place is amazing and it's a must do! read more

After a 3 hour movie, we were starving and came upon this restaurant in downtown Temecula. What a find and such a comforting refuge from the heat outside. The place is a restaurant and bar, and served up just the right food and ambience as our intensified senses were still coming down from our experience watching the movie Odyssey. We were initially going to stay with the Greek theme (that we were still initially captivated with) and order one of the the charcuteries. However, we gladly settled with a much simpler order: the saloon steak mushroom melt and the goat and vine salad. For dessert, our very patient and attentive waitress helped us decide on a limited special that was the lemon olive oil cake. ... but darned that i forgot to take pictures of our first order! However, we were able to take a pic of our dessert for your eyes to feast! We devoured it in less than a minute. We should've ordered two of those. Although our dinner and a movie night took us about an hour to drive from home, we wouldn't mind including this restaurant at all to our next Temecula venue. read more

Fresh ingredients make an amazing pizza. We had the Butcher Shop for meat lovers...pepperoni, salami and sausage. We had a friendly waitress. Vibe is chill. Clean and mellow. Busy with people coming and going but seats were still available. Oh and don't forget to try their dessert. I had their Sourdough Bread Pudding! Yes it was freshly made and baked upon demand. While it's 102 outside, I had to try it. You could really taste that sourdough yum! Will be back! read more

After a long day at the hot springs 15 mins down the road, I was in the market for a fresh, yummy meal! I did some research and found that Goat & Vine came highly recommended. I'd never been to Temecula before, and let me tell you this is the cutest old town and wine valley! As someone who is wine obsessed, I already know I need to be back just for the area alone. I quickly found parking right in front of the restaurant (given it was a Tuesday afternoon) and was immediately greeted and seated. The service was very quick and the atmosphere is great. The decor is gorgeous and gives the place a modern yet fantasy-garden feel to it. I ordered the Arnold (their version of a pepperoni hot honey pizza) and it was OUTSTANDING. My server was extremely attentive and I even got a dusting of fresh parm. Could only eat a few slices before getting full, but excited to eat these leftovers! read more

The GOAT & Vine is a must go to spot in Old Town. Though I'm quite sure they have excellent menu items I just can't seem to get past ordering the pizza whenever my wife and I go there so my rating is really about their pizzas We've had several of their pizza offerings and every one has been stellar and by far the best pizza I've had in all of California. The service we've experienced has been quite good. The place gets pretty busy and the staff really work for their pay. As this place does get busy the staff may not be able to attend to your needs as well as you'd like although in my experience it certainly didn't seem like it was due to a lack of trying. The servers we've had have always been friendly and try to go out of their way to make your meal enjoyable. The place itself is pretty cool and has a bit of a New Your vibe going on in the heart of Old Town. I whole heartedly recommend The Goat & Vine. And, if you're able to get past the pizzas please let me know what you got and how it was. read more
I've visited Goat & Vine each time I've been to Temecula, it is great! They have great options between pizza, salad, and sandwiches. I love their chicken salad sandwich! The serving sizes are large and plenty to share. They also have a good line up of cocktails and beer on tap. My top recommendation for food in Old Town. read more
The food here was great. Amazing atmosphere for a date not. Not really recommended to bring kids because of the high chairs. The waiter was really attentive. I'd recommend getting the goat and vine salad. Surprisingly the goat cheese wasn't too strong. There was a 20 minute wait. However we went around 430 pm on a Friday night. read more
Cute place! We enjoy trying out different restaurants and wineries in Temecula. The Goat and Vine was recommended to us. Upon arrival, we were fortunate to be seated right away because a party had cancelled. We tried the blueberry sangria which was okay in my opinion. My sister enjoyed the orange spritz. I feel like the menu was very heavy on carbs so if you are a carnivore, this is your place! We enjoyed the Goat and Vine salad a lot! The food tasted okay in my opinion. There was a wait but we were able to sit at the bar immediately. It was crowded and good reason as the food is really excellent. The bartender was friendly and took our order. We had pizza and a Greek salad. I loved how much they put in the salad, it could have been a meal on itself. Sitting at the bar we could watch the pizzas being made which was nice. It did mean though that we got to watch our pizza be made, which was great, but then watched it sit there waiting to be brought to us for about 10 minutes, so not so good there, and for that reason I'm marking down a star. read more

I would just check in on Yelp about an hour before you want to go. Yelp does a waitlist which is so handy and saves a lot of time. Yelp will even remind you when to join the waitlist if you want to set it up ahead of time.
