We put our name on the Yelp waitlist right when they opened and were seated within 45 minutes for a party of two. The mother's meatballs ($21) came with big two meatballs and were flavorful and cheesy. It also came with cheesy bread which was nice to dip into the tomato sauce. The jalapeño lime carnitas pizza ($30) was like a taco on pizza; it was cheesy but I thought it could've used more carnitas. The spicy italian sandwich ($18.50) was good with lots of meat and a hint of spice. The location is super central so it's usually packed. The pizzas are the most popular things here but they also have other offerings as well as cocktails, beers, and wine. read more

I stopped by The Goat and Vine in Temecula and had a really enjoyable lunch. The stone hearth kitchen vibe is welcoming, the service was attentive, and you can tell they put care into making things from scratch. The You Confit Me pizza was a highlight. It's garlic confit done right, paired with fennel sausage, fresh mozzarella, a touch of hatch chile honey for sweetness and heat, plus ricotta and red pepper flakes. It had great balance, a crispy yet chewy crust from the hearth, and the flavors popped without being overpowering. Definitely one I'll order again. The Favorite Turkey Sandwich on their house made sourdough was also excellent. Roasted turkey, creamy French brie, basil aioli, fig and balsamic compote, sprouts, and red onion came together beautifully. The sweet-savory combo from the figs really made it. Everything was tasty and well-prepared, the portions are generous and prices fair for the quality. Overall a great experience and I'd happily return to try more pizzas or their other sandwiches. Cute little busy restaurant nestled on the side of Old Town Temecula. It's a very popular restaurant and I have been eager to visit. I signed up on the waiting list and was #8. I waited maybe 25 mins. Kristen was my server. Super sweet and very friendly. I ordered the hatch chile honey bucket sandwich. It was ok. Nothing that stood out. Blackened chicken, aioli, avocado and caramelized onions served with house chops. I also ordered El Guapo margarita. It was a raspberry margarita that was really good. Kristen suggested it and it was a great choice. I will probably visit again but definitely try their pizza or salad. read more

Of all the places I went in Temecula over a three week period, The GOAT & Vine was #1! Amazing food, service , beverages and ambiance. The restaurant itself is chic, esthetic and alluring. Definitely a vibe. My husband and I were seated at the bar and we had the most amazing experience. The bartender, Anthony, was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the Orange Blossom Spritz Mocktail and it transported me to Italy. The aromatic flavors made me melt. Watching Anthony put it together was fun. He is a true professional and you can tell that he enjoys what he does. Though I'm quite sure they have excellent menu items I just can't seem to get past ordering the pizza whenever my wife and I go there so my rating is really about their pizzas We've had several of their pizza offerings and every one has been stellar and by far the best pizza I've had in all of California. The service we've experienced has been quite good. The place gets pretty busy and the staff really work for their pay. As this place does get busy the staff may not be able to attend to your needs as well as you'd like although in my experience it certainly didn't seem like it was due to a lack of trying. The servers we've had have always been friendly and try to go out of their way to make your meal enjoyable. The place itself is pretty cool and has a bit of a New Your vibe going on in the heart of Old Town. I whole heartedly recommend The Goat & Vine. Came for Sunday with a large group of people (16) We were first in line prior to them opening, as they don't do reservations, & were able to secure a large table to accommodate us. They originally said only 10 people could fit - and our party would have to be split between two opposite sides of the restaurant (why would you do that?) But we somehow made 16 people fit in the 10 person sized table. Regardless, service was great. I know large parties can be a lot, and we were always treated kindly & well taken care of. And I appreciate that. Food & drinks were great! Menu is diverse and had lots of options for everyone. I didn't see a mocktail menu or alcohol free options, which would have been nice, but that's OK. There was a wait but we were able to sit at the bar immediately. It was crowded and good reason as the food is really excellent. The bartender was friendly and took our order. We had pizza and a Greek salad. I loved how much they put in the salad, it could have been a meal on itself. Sitting at the bar we could watch the pizzas being made which was nice. It did mean though that we got to watch our pizza be made, which was great, but then watched it sit there waiting to be brought to us for about 10 minutes, so not so good there, and for that reason I'm marking down a star. read more

The cutest vibe and loved the natural aesthetic. Everything I've had here tastes so good- alcoholic beverages, pizza and salads. I ordered extra of some sides because it was just so addicting. It's a favorite spot and usually recommend it when planning a dinner spot with girlfriends or my husband. I get a classy feel from the workers there, friendly but not overly friendly. We were seated right away in a nice booth. The atmosphere had a nice vibe. Someone brought waters right away and it took a few minutes for our waiter to make his way over to us. We ordered juice and the purist pizza for the boys and the chicken parmigiana pizza for my daughter and I. Everything came out pretty quickly. The crust was very soft and limp, and the cheese kinda rubbery on both pizzas. The flavors of the chicken parmesan pizza were ok, but not my favorite. When I would ask him a question about what liquor he has, he just pointed to the wall. He went on break but never told us. Food was fantastic. Drinks very good. We checked out Goat & Vine because of the consistently high reviews, and now we totally understand the hype. The food was incredible--so flavorful that we honestly wanted to try everything on the menu because it all looked amazing. We ordered the meatballs, olive oil salad, jalapeños and carnitas pizza, and every single dish was delicious. You can really tell a lot of care goes into the flavors. I also ordered a sangria, and it was fantastic--full of fruit and not watered down at all. The seasonal pomegranate blueberry sangria was especially good. On top of the food, the atmosphere is beautiful and the service was great, which made the whole experience even better. Truly worth five stars. The only small con was a few fruit flies around that wouldn't fully go away, but it didn't take away from how much we enjoyed the meal overall. We'll definitely be back! read more

Finally stopped in for lunch the other day. Cute lil spot, tucked away on the corner. Host upon entry, full big bar catches your eye. Plenty of 2 seater tables, and plenty of large seating tables for bigger parties. The boss and I shared a pizza and sandwich. (Jalapeño lime carnitas pizza) and the (spicy Italian sammy) Food was good, service was great as well. I actually thought the carnitas would have been more ... Very interesting evening. We tried two other spots on a Monday night, and both were closed. We ended up here as it looked like a nice casual vibe. Our server was pleasant and helpful, the music was peppy. We ordered a few drinks that were nice. Wifey had a sexy bourbon drink that was tasty. My gin was ok, I wanted tonic and they put something else, but no big deal. My wife had a veggie sandwich with lots of mushrooms, maybe too many mushrooms. Mom had a Reuben that was ok. The star of the show was the Arnold pizza. Pepperoni with stratella cheese dollops and honey drizzle. A+ pizza. Fabulous pizza. Went here for a friend's birthday and was blown away at how great this place was. The location itself is beautiful, and I love how you can see the kitchen from the dining room. You can see how well the entire kitchen team works together, very impressive. The food was amazing! We started with the Ceasar Salad and the Breadsticks with Sauce, both were great. The Ceasar was a standard salad, with a great portion, but the garlic bread was great, and the marinara that came with it was some of the best I've had. The standout dishes though were the pizzas. We got the Jalopeno Lime Carnitas and the margherita. Both were incredible. The Jalopeno Lime Carnitas was a unique pizza topping combo that worked so well. The margherita was my favorite though and had an amazing sauce ratio. For my birthday I took myself to the wildly popular restaurant The Goat and Vine. After putting my name on the waitlist (through their Yelp page), and waiting about 40 minutes, I got seated in their elevated bistro dinning hall (yes, the decor suggests you are in store for a elegant chic experience) and browsed their menu. I wish I could say that I had a magical experience that would be fitting for any birthday, but it was middle-of-the-road average. Though satisfying, my honey spicy chicken hot sandwich was not spicy at all however tender and sweet. Admittedly, considering it's almost $20, I had high expectations for this lunch (sandwich and potato chips). My server was rather dry (instead of warm and welcoming as I had hoped for) and forgot my ginger beer order. Even though I shared with the host that it was my birthday, there was nothing special - no slice of cake with a candle, no "happy birthday",...really nothing special for my special day. My star rating is a reflection of the mediocre experience I had. I hope your dining experience is much more magical than mine. read more

This is our second time at The Goat & Vine since our first visit two years ago - a lovely Yelp find that inspired this return. After a day wine tasting in Temecula, we love coming here. There's a public parking garage a block away, which is great. Yelp also manages their wait-list, which took our party of 3 on a Saturday evening about a 75 minute wait. Our server was friendly and the atmosphere felt like I was dining at a B&B's farmhouse - firm dark denim and leather aprons on the service team, wood, moss and succulents on the walls. Because the wait was so long, we ended up having apps and drinks at restaurant around the corner (Margaritas). At The Goat & Vine, we ordered Espresso Martinis and shared The Fig on the Farm pizza. The martinis were delicious - not too sweet with the perfect balance of espresso and alcohol. The pizza was amazing! The savory goat cheese, salty prosciutto, peppery arugula, sweet fresh figs, and a sticky sweet honey balsamic glaze, all on a lovely pizza dough. We were too full to order dessert, though we loved the Sourdough Bread Pudding our first time a few years ago. When the server asked if we were celebrating anything, we mentioned our 40th birthdays (celebrating mine late and her's early), so the server surprised us with a mini cookie and ice cream - such a kind and lovely treat. read more
