Great for families or casual date night. Very chill ambiance with a fun sporty vibe. The service was easy and the food was excellent. Fresh huge salads. I didn't enjoy the vinaigrette on the caprese salad. It was too oregano forward or maybe too much garlic. But the ranch and the berry vinaigrette were great. The pizzas are delicious! If you value your time, your money, or -- more importantly -- your health, keep walking. This is my second review of The Mill, and somehow it's worse than the first. Last time, my fiancée and I came in on our engagement day to celebrate with brunch and were turned away at the door because we had iced coffees from next door. Real classy way to treat customers. Management never responded to that review. Shocker. So against my better judgment, I gave them another shot this morning. Here's what happened: I have a gluten allergy. I told my waitress. I specifically asked her to check whether one of the menu items was gluten-free -- which she did -- and I clearly asked for my toast on a separate plate so my wife could have it. Simple request. Clear communication. Done. Food came out with bread sitting directly on top of everything on my plate. When I pointed out the mistake and reminded them of my allergy, the person who delivered the food had the audacity to respond with an irritated "I guess we are going to have to remake the food." You messed up the order. The attitude is completely backwards. Then my waitress came back to tell me she "didn't know" about my allergy. I stated it twice and had her look something up because of it. Either she didn't write it down, or the kitchen ignored it entirely. Either way -- a gluten allergy isn't a preference, it's a health issue. First plate took 15 minutes. Remake took another 15. While sitting outside waiting, we overheard our waitress telling another table their order had also been messed up by the kitchen. So it's not just us. Let's be honest about what The Mill serves: basic breakfast. Eggs, bacon, potatoes. This isn't a Michelin-starred tasting menu. It's breakfast. And you still managed to get it wrong twice in one visit. The "breakfast pizza" I've tried before wasn't good either. And the apple chicken sausage? It tastes like wet dog food -- I don't know what's in that but it should not be on the menu. To their credit, they remade the food and our waitress was pleasant despite everything. The hal-o-penyo sauce was genuinely good. That's it. That's the entire list of positives. The real issue is systemic. The kitchen staff is either disorganized or resentful about their own mistakes. Communication between the floor and the kitchen is nonexistent. Management clearly doesn't care -- they didn't respond to my last review, and nothing has changed. A restaurant that can't handle allergy requests for a scrambled eggs order is not a restaurant that takes its customers seriously. I gave you two chances. You burned both. I won't be back, and I'll be making sure my friends and family know exactly what to expect here. read more

Have not been here in years so we decided to bring some friends for an early dinner. To start I ordered the Hazy IPA as we had a great conversation prior to ordering our dinner. It was OK, but more about that later. It was about 4:30 on a Monday and it wasn't too crowded yet but patrons were starting to filter in slowly. The inside had a very warm feeling and it was comfortable. Our server was Bridgette who was outstanding and on point! I ordered the Cheesesteak Panini and added jalapeño's for that extra "kick" on focaccia bread. Wow, killer sandwich!!! Mouth watering, delicious and absolutely huge! Included, I had the potato salad that I'm not familiar with as I was raised on Southern potato salad. This was good but different. My wife loved it. I ordered a different IPA that tasted much better. Ironically, Bridgette came over and asked if the first beer tasted funny as another customer complained. I told her it did as I only drank about half and she said she would remove it from our bill. I wanted to love this place. We were trying to look for a new restaurant and came across this place. The patio was packed so we assumed that the food was amazing. Problems immediately started when we couldn't get our waitress to take our order. We sat there for over 30 minutes before she finally took our order. The salad came out and we couldn't even eat them because all that it consisted of was tomatoes, lettuce, and ranch. It was the most basic salad I'd ever experienced with zero flavor. The menu stood out right away--different and interesting, with a main focus on pizzas and pasta but a few other options mixed in too. I went with the Cuban sandwich and an Old Fashioned, while my brother tried the pepperoni calzone. My cocktail was excellent and the sandwich really hit the spot. My brother thought the calzone was just "okay," but overall, the food was solid. The vibe is lively and it seems like the kind of place locals come back to often. I'm not from the area, so I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon, but if I lived nearby I could see myself dropping in from time to time when I was in the mood for something off their menu. read more

It's casual friendly and charming, the venue is mostly Italian. The pizza gets high marks and so does some plateau salad with Bleu cheese probably the second best salad I have ever eaten. The cheesy garlic bread may be the most cravable thing I have ever eaten in a restaurant in decades of dining out. High marks for the food!!! The day started out rainy but cleared up for a lovely view of dramatic cloud action. The Mill isn't fancy, but it's a nice set up and quite clean. We ordered the veggie pizza (modified to red sauce not white) which is a big deal because we don't usually order pizza on the west coast. Maybe it was the delicious and refreshing Cosmo I was imbibing, but whatever it was, the pizza was killer and my pizza snobbery is chastened. As an aside, the salads that went by looked amazing and were quite large. If we hadn't gone all rogue with the pizza, we would probably have chosen salad. We've been going to the Mill for years and have never been disappointed. I don't know if they have new management because we haven't been in a while. We called to ask if we could bring food in for my 2 year old granddaughter who is allergic to dairy and on a gluten free diet, because they don't have anything on their menu she can eat. The interior of the restaurant was nice and clean! I ordered the Dana's chicken Alfredo and loved it! The flavor of the sauce was excellent and I loved the herbs in it. My partner tried the chicken apple sausage and he really enjoyed it! We waited a bit long for our food, but our waitress had came over and let us know the meal was on them because of how long we waited. It was completely unexpected and wow I really appreciated it!
