    Second IPA. Great pours!!!
    Michael M.

Have not been here in years so we decided to bring some friends for an early dinner. To start I ordered the Hazy IPA as we had a great conversation prior to ordering our dinner. It was OK, but more about that later. It was about 4:30 on a Monday and it wasn't too crowded yet but patrons were starting to filter in slowly. The inside had a very warm feeling and it was comfortable. Our server was Bridgette who was outstanding and on point! I ordered the Cheesesteak Panini and added jalapeño's for that extra "kick" on focaccia bread. Wow, killer sandwich!!! Mouth watering, delicious and absolutely huge! Included, I had the potato salad that I'm not familiar with as I was raised on Southern potato salad. This was good but different. My wife loved it. I ordered a different IPA that tasted much better. Ironically, Bridgette came over and asked if the first beer tasted funny as another customer complained. I told her it did as I only drank about half and she said she would remove it from our bill. Great customer service! I was not expecting that to happen. As we were leaving, the restaurant was filling up quickly. Get there early and enjoy great food and great service!

Came here with the family and by the time we finished 2 appetizers and a salad we were satisfied and didn't even get the pizza and pasta we wanted. So definitely gonna be back. The portions were good and my daughter wanted the artichoke dip which really liked. The place was busy but got seated quickly. We sat outside and it was perfect weather so I recommend outside if the weather permits.

    Cuban sandwich, calzone, old fashioned

This place was packed when we went, which tells me it's definitely a local favorite. The menu stood out right away--different and interesting, with a main focus on pizzas and pasta but a few other options mixed in too. I went with the Cuban sandwich and an Old Fashioned, while my brother tried the pepperoni calzone. My cocktail was excellent and the sandwich really hit the spot. My brother thought the calzone was just "okay," but overall, the food was solid. The vibe is lively and it seems like the kind of place locals come back to often. I'm not from the area, so I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon, but if I lived nearby I could see myself dropping in from time to time when I was in the mood for something off their menu.

I can't believe I have yet to review this gem of a restaurant. The mill preceded itself as my sister and mom had been dining here for years. It's casual friendly and charming, the venue is mostly Italian. The pizza gets high marks and so does some plateau salad with Bleu cheese probably the second best salad I have ever eaten. The cheesy garlic bread may be the most cravable thing I have ever eaten in a restaurant in decades of dining out. High marks for the food!!! It's a family favorite and I know I will return.

Nice little home town style restaurant in the heart of old town. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Gave lots of suggestions on local favorite dishes. Clean store!

The veggie pizza and the Cosmo!

Shout out to Tracy B for helping make our lunch experience so much fun. She's a truly professional server. What a treat. We sat outside on the deck in the sun. The day started out rainy but cleared up for a lovely view of dramatic cloud action. The Mill isn't fancy, but it's a nice set up and quite clean. We ordered the veggie pizza (modified to red sauce not white) which is a big deal because we don't usually order pizza on the west coast. Maybe it was the delicious and refreshing Cosmo I was imbibing, but whatever it was, the pizza was killer and my pizza snobbery is chastened. As an aside, the salads that went by looked amazing and were quite large. If we hadn't gone all rogue with the pizza, we would probably have chosen salad. Thanks again to Tracy B, (You rock!) but I should mention that all the workers we encountered were helpful and very friendly.

Perfect spot for an easy hearty meal. We stopped in for a quick bite, and were surprised with how good the panini and pizza was. Service was friendly, helpful, and quick. It was a perfect place for families with all their different options. They also had outside seating!

Can the website menu please be returned to a usable format? The gimmick page flip thing is *super* dated and late 90's dot-com bubble, and really low resolution. The old version was much better.

Anyone know if there are vegan options here?

Not at breakfast that I have seen. Not sure about day time menus.

This trip was not the Benny's I've always been accustomed to. The bread was almost stale, which is one of Benny's biggest item that sets them apart. The issue was the drink for our combos. They were completely out of all fountain drinks. When I told the girl at the counter, her response was, "I know, we got a machine?" Instead of holding everyone else up in the line, we just left and took the crappy drinks. I truly hope this is not the beginning of the end.

Before I get to reviewing the sandwiches I want to mention the great stuff I saw at the meat counter that I will definitely come back for! They had chorizo, pork breakfast sausage, Hungarian pork sausage, two kinds of brats and more. Nice organic chickens, bone in skin on chicken thighs, and herb marinated half chickens. Their chickens are smaller than what they sell at supermarkets which tell me they are younger and more tender. The steaks....ohhhh the steaks! Wagu, Prime grade, rib-eyes, New York Strips, big shrimps, fish, etc. In the other cold case there was Duck, and other Duck related products, plus so much more I can't remember them all! They are a busy place at lunchtime and I didn't mind waiting. We had a turkey and bacon hot sandwich and a BLT. Outstanding on both! My wife's only suggestion that the turkey needed more chipotle aioli, it was a bit dry.

I was the top guy and worked at the outhouse and the penthouse, meaning I worked in financially stable and unstable departments. With all that said, I saw plenty of problems at this location. Starting off, they are way overpriced. Unless the owners gross profit percentage is 50% or more, should definitely be embarrassed pushing low marbled over priced products. Also, questioning the rotation and shelf life on the product. Quality; putting a first cut, wedge cut that was barely scraped in your counter is embarrassing. Anyone that knows anything about cutting or displaying would walk out, which I did. Displays are amateur at best, no quality or finesse. I would recommend avoiding this place until they learn the business.

Rockin' Jay's looked at my weak soul and said "bet" -- then saved it in the best way possible. Counter girl hit me with a smile so bright I almost reached for sunglasses. The entire all-female crew was straight beast-mode at the open sandwich bar, slinging subs like they were on a mission from the sandwich gods. Atmosphere? Spacious as hell, proper New York deli that moonlights as a 70s rock dive -- screaming reds and greens, green booths, wooden tables, tiled floors, the whole retro package you see in the pics. The playlist was gloriously all over the place in the best way -- Contemporary Christian one minute, 2019 pop bangers the next, basically spanning six decades of straight fire. "Listen to your heart" came on and I damn near did while they built my baby. Every single pick was gold though. I ordered the 12" Capicola & Provolone ($16.69). I yelled "the works -- no mustard, drown me in onions and olives." They dropped an absolute beast of a sandwich... and it came perfectly toasted straight out the gate the way it should be. No sad "can you toast this?" negotiation. Golden, crunchy bread that cracks like it owes you money. Meat stacked stupid high, provolone doing its melty thing, then they buried the whole thing under an avalanche of fresh, snapping shredded lettuce and threw in those glossy peppers on the side like a mic drop. This thing is ridiculously messy -- oil dripping, lettuce flying, pure delicious chaos in every bite. Pro tip: there's no napkin dispenser at the tables, so you gotta go full scavenger hunt by the self-serve soda machine to grab your own stack. Worth every greasy finger and napkin raid. It fed this giant for two meals and left me still full, slightly greasy, and weirdly emotional. My spinach smoothie PTSD? Cured.
