First time to this brunch restaurant today with friends and we were so excited because the pictures online looked amazing! We like that we could join the waitlist especially on a weekend to guarantee our place in line. When we arrived we were seated right away outside on the patio. The umbrella at our table fell on us twice which was really inconvenient but the manager was able to take care of us. We loved our drinks! The chai latte was pretty good, the pb & slay was super sweet if you're into that. The ube matcha had great flavor too. The crunchy french toast was so delicious! Great flavor & great texture. Came on a weekday by 10 am to meet a bunch of girl friends, we were 6 . Table are not large so can feel a little tight on the seating. We were charged the large party group so automatically added 20% gratuities. Staff was friendly and attentive, came over several times to ask if we needed anything. The general decor and music were superrrr cute! But that was about the only thing enjoyable here. I got just a basic breakfast combo, eggs, sausage, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy. The sausage was great! But everything else did not have a lick of seasoning. the eggs and hash browns especially were begging for salt. Gravy on the biscuits you could tell was made from dried gravy powder. Husband got the bacon Avo Benedict which was okay... but missing the avocado. Silverware also felt cheap and flimsy and plates from the dollar tree.. Matcha was not the worst but you could mostly only taste the milk and vanilla. Tried Haven Haus for brunch after seeing it recommended on Yelp, and overall it was a pretty good experience. The food was an 8/10, but the drinks were closer to a 4/10. We ordered the crepes since we're big crepe fans. They were a little different than what we expected since they weren't stuffed, but we made it work and they still came out really sweet and enjoyable. I ordered a caramel latte and my husband got a Coke Zero. Even though the drinks didn't hit, the food definitely made up for it. Service was quick, but it felt a bit impersonal since we had three different servers and didn't really get the chance to connect with one. The ambience was really nice -- super chill, and the interior is honestly really pretty if you're into taking pictures. I'd definitely come back and give it another try. This was my first time at Haven Haus Cafe. We showed up on Sunday morning at about 11:15 and it was busy. We had about a 20 minute wait - not bad. They have a nice lounge area at the front of restaurant where you can hangout while waiting for a table. Once we were seated our server got us started with coffee and water. Even though they were busy, she was chill and didn't make us feel rushed, which was awesome. We ordered our brunch and in no time, it was served up hot and fresh. I ordered the Bacon Avo Benny - excellent choice! The eggs... poached to perfection. The spinach... sautéed just right and was seasoned to complement the wonderful Hollendaise sauce. Hollendaise sauce... rich and creamy at the optimal consistency. Bacon... prepared at the ideal crispness and the applewood aspect/flavor was right on. Avocado... ripe, lush, and buttery. The venue has a bright (roll up windows), modern vibe that is undeniable. (They have outside seating too.) Lastly, our server was a Pro. She knew when to check-in on us and was absolutely attentive. The inside of this place was beautifully decorated and reminded us of the holiday festivities. It was also nearly empty, as it was a public holiday. We ordered Orange Juice, Mocha Latte, Eggs Benedict, and Angus Burger with Fries. Their service was fast, and we got food almost right away. The food was delicious, and the portions were satisfying. The burger was good the hashbrowns lacked salt so they were a bit bland however I still enjoyed the bite. I ordered the waffle fries as well, they taste fresh, but were Luke warm and had no taste. The Mimosa flight was pretty but the flavors were not muted. It was essentially champagne. My cousin ordered an omelet and hashbrown. The menu features and includes but is not limited to familiar favorites for breakfast/brunch such as avocado toast, breakfast tacos and enchiladas, various benedicts, and for lunch they have various tacos, burgers, salads and bowls. They do some nice coffees (spanish latte's included) that are done well. My family and I enjoyed the food with a mix of selections. I went with the breakfast enchiladas with the choice of the roja salsa. It included two cheese enchiladas with eggs on top, sour cream, pickled onion, pico, and included rice and beans. Unfortunately, today's visit left a bad taste in my mouth, and I think it'll be some time before my husband and I decide to give Haven Haus another chance. We've been here quite a few times and typically order the brunch board, a bottle of champagne with two juices, and sometimes a cocktail as well. Today was no different, except we never received any of our drinks. Our food came out pretty quickly, but our waitress disappeared shortly after taking our order. By the time another waitress came through the area, we were already about halfway through our meal. We let her know that we still hadn't received any of our drinks. At that point, I asked to cancel the champagne but said I would still like my cocktail. She seemed a little dismissive, which I understood to some extent since we weren't her table, but she said she would look into it. More time passed, and eventually another waitress came over and asked if we were missing something. By then, we were nearly finished eating and honestly over the situation, so we asked to cancel the drinks altogether. She apologized and offered to comp them, which we declined. The issue wasn't about getting free drinks. The whole point was to have our drinks before or with our food so we could sit, relax, and enjoy everything together. When our original waitress finally returned, she explained that she had gone on break. That actually made the situation more frustrating because our drinks should have either been delivered before she went on break or properly handed off to whoever was covering her section. No one checked on us while she was gone, and had someone done so, they would have realized much sooner that we had never received our drinks. I completely understand that things happen, and we've had good experiences here in the past, which is why we've continued coming back. Unfortunately, today felt like our table was simply forgotten. It was disappointing enough that we'll probably take a break from Haven Haus for a while before deciding whether to give it another try. read more

During our little day trip to old town Temecula we decided to stop in here on a whim for some drinks + to share some food. Our server let us know the portions were big and shareable and she was right! We shared the Mediterranean steak platter which was SO good and flavorful. Came with steak, an assortment of veggies and cucumbers/tomatoes, pita bread, rice and a side of hummus and tziki. By the time we finished we both felt full and satisfied and were so impressed with how yummy it was. One of the biggest frustrations is that they don't offer split checks, which feels really outdated--especially since they use Toast, so it just doesn't make much sense. Service has also been inconsistent. On my second visit, our server came across as rude and dismissive, which definitely impacted the overall experience.
