Haven Haus Cafe has a fantastic location right in Old Town and the staff was so kind and welcoming. I had high hopes for the Benny Avo Benedict with country potatoes, but it turned out to be really bland and needed a lot of salt and hot sauce to get some flavor going. My partner's country fried steak was nice and tender, but also tasted like it was missing seasoning. With a little more attention to the seasoning in the kitchen, this place would be a total 5-star winner because the vibe and service are wonderful. 3 stars for now!
Great breakfast spot in the heart of Old Town Temecula. It can get crowded during prime time for weekend brunch, though if you hop on the waitlist before you arrive, it lessens the overall wait. Large patio and bar seating area with indoor dining as well. Modern decor inside with a bright natural light. Employees were friendly and good ratio of service staff to patrons. Food came out in a decent amount of time after being ordered with a fairly busy restaurant. Portion sizes are generous for many items so don't order too much unless you're hungry. The coffee did take quite a while to arrive after the food, so that was a bit disappointing. Onto the food: French Toast- 4 large pieces of Texas Toast which had good egg flavor and soaked up the syrup well. Chicken & Waffles- Waffle was cooked exactly as I like with a bit of crisp to it. Held up great even after syrup. The chicken portion was good with 2 good sized pieces with light breading. The problem was it was so dry, it was barely edible with sauce. Took quite a bit to chew through. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area as overall the food, service, and ambience makes it worth the weight. If you're fine with walking, easy parking available about a block up in the large parking garage as street parking otherwise if you want to be super close.
Came here during Saturday breakfast with the family. Chicken and waffles was good as well as the breakfast burrito. The drinks were also pretty good. I had the Beetlejuice drink which was ube and matcha. Pretty good spot to try in the area. I'll be back to try other things on the menu.
Would come back to Temecula just to eat at this place. Wait was long but so worth it. Explored the streets while we waited. Had an amazing waitress named Illana who was extremely attentive and seemed like one of the girls whenever we stopped by our table. The place was a vibe. So much to look at, beautiful plants everywhere. Even the bathroom was clean and fun to look at. Food was a vibe as well. Delicious & beautiful to look at. Already missing my pumpkin pancake shaken espresso haha!
Food was amazing and ambience is so cool! Best part was our server Iliana. Phineas, who made our delicious cappuccinos. We would come back for the cappuccinos alone. The am a business owner and what catches my attention is when service is amazing. Thank you Haven Haus Cafe and thank Iliana.
Visited Haven Haus for the coffee flight yet I left with the flight, a seasonal sample and a yummy chilaquiles platter. I went alone and sat at the nicely decorated bar, the service was quick and staff was friendly. Will return!
Cute breakfast/brunch spot with pretty pink and green decor! Love the mix of modern and vintage pieces throughout the restaurant. We always make a stop here for breakfast whenever we're in the Temecula area. Hands down, their churro-style French toast is the best, and their skillets are yummy too! They also offer lattes, teas, and mimosas. The waitresses are attentive as well. Great spot to enjoy breakfast or brunch with friends and family!
Cute place, but not worth the wait. If it's busy, try to see if there are seats at the bar since those are first come, first serve. Food and drinks were ok. For breakfast, we got the Spanish latte, tequila sunrise, and honey chicken biscuit sliders. Service was slow. My coffee arrived last out of all the items.
First time to this brunch restaurant today with friends and we were so excited because the pictures online looked amazing! We like that we could join the waitlist especially on a weekend to guarantee our place in line. When we arrived we were seated right away outside on the patio. The umbrella at our table fell on us twice which was really inconvenient but the manager was able to take care of us. We loved our drinks! The chai latte was pretty good, the pb & slay was super sweet if you're into that. The ube matcha had great flavor too. The crunchy french toast was so delicious! Great flavor & great texture. The breakfast sandwich was so good, but I just didn't care for the jam on it very much. Huge portions here great menu overall, can't wait to be back again.
Madison was so great! So kind! Would come here again if she's our server! 10/10 Can't wait to come again
Came on a weekday by 10 am to meet a bunch of girl friends, we were 6 . Table are not large so can feel a little tight on the seating. We were charged the large party group so automatically added 20% gratuities. Staff was friendly and attentive, came over several times to ask if we needed anything. The food presentation and taste were both good. Started to get busy around 11:30 pm. They did split our checks which was nice. Would definitely come back again
Good atmosphere...dining inside and out (with misters). Combo of tables, counter, booths and high tops with nice decor. Service good and everyone friendly. Food a good mix with hummus board, shrimp ceviche, salads, tacos and sandwiches. Great breakfast menu too although we visited for lunch. We had Cobb salad (good) and steak protein bowl (very good) plus guacamole and chips (good and homemade chips). Thoroughly enjoyable meal and we'll b back again. Oh, also, good liquor offerings!
Tried Haven Haus for brunch after seeing it recommended on Yelp, and overall it was a pretty good experience. The food was an 8/10, but the drinks were closer to a 4/10. We ordered the crepes since we're big crepe fans. They were a little different than what we expected since they weren't stuffed, but we made it work and they still came out really sweet and enjoyable. I ordered a caramel latte and my husband got a Coke Zero. Even though the drinks didn't hit, the food definitely made up for it. Service was quick, but it felt a bit impersonal since we had three different servers and didn't really get the chance to connect with one. The ambience was really nice -- super chill, and the interior is honestly really pretty if you're into taking pictures. I'd definitely come back and give it another try. I didn't even get to order what I originally had my eye on because the crepes distracted me real quick, so I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu next time.
Reviews are largely positive. People highlight the friendly attentive staff, flavorful brunch dishes, welcoming ambiance, and creative drinks.

Great place to take family and friends. Good location in Old Town Temecula and this place had a great use of space so you don't feel like you are on top of each other. Our waitress was amazing and cute. Because this was my first time I asked her to order me her favorite and she suggested her favorite omelette to my friend. We shared the Autumn breeze coffee flight it was amazing, Leisa got the Meat Lovers Omelette, and I got the Meat Lovers Skillet both were fantastic. My skillet was packed with meat my eggs were cooked perfect, her omelette also was packed with meat and we both loved our breakfast. We started up a conversation with the group next to us. They ordered the brunch board and it looked amazing can't wait to come try it with a couple of our friends. I was able to take what I had left and give it to my husband for lunch and now he wants to go there. I will definitely come back. read more

The second time we went for lunch, and everything was great including the service. This time I had the Haven Hous Wrap with Grilled Chicken with side salad and my wife had the Hog & Slaw with Fries. Both were excellent and great presentation. read more
We came across Haven Haus while visiting the downtown area of Temecula, so glad we found this place, at first we were a little hesitant because the restaurant was empty but we yelped it and saw so many positive reviews we decided to give it a try. Upon entering we were warmly greeted and shown to our seats, our waitress asked if we were celebrating anything special which we were (my moms 70th) she offered her a complimentary glass of champagne or a dessert, my mom opted for the champagne, which was crisp and refreshing. We ordered a little bit of everything to share. Mom got the ceviche, I had a chicken bbq flat bread, we also tried the buffalo wings and the wagyu burger along with two alcoholic beverages a pineapple margarita and a passion fruit sour, drinks and food were both good. I recommend the ceviche it's fresh and authentic served with chips and fresh veggies on the side, overall a great experience read more

Service was ok. I was in the middle of eating, in the act of chewing even when the waitress asked me to pay the tab. I understand if she was leaving it going on break and needed to close the table but that was not the situation. She didn't just drop the bill to be paid later but asked to pay as I was putting tough steak in my mouth. Ambiance was nice. Fits in with the Old Temecula vibe. Food was just ok. My steak was really tough and dry. I ordered the Mediterranean Dish. My sister really liked her Breakfast skillet. I also ordered the coffee flight and really enjoyed that. It looked really sweet because I usually just drink my coffee black but I like trying new things. It was perfect imo, definitely recommend if you like variety as I do. read more

Hi Joe,…
Food and customer service were great! This place is definitely photo worthy if you're trying to get a good flick for the gram. I sat outside on a Saturday afternoon where it was pretty hot but they had misters which made it comfortable. The portions were pretty generous and delicious. I ordered the crepes with strawberries and the server was kind enough to let me know that it was a puree but can sub it out for fresh fruit and i appreciated that so much! We also got the omlette and the country potatoes were seasoned so well. Overall, this place gives old town a nice brunch touch! I didn't get to try their drinks, but next time I will! Looks like they have great cocktails, mimosas, and coffee flights! read more

We have been here multiple times usually for a birthday brunch and every time we have a great experience. it's so cute and such a fun decorative vibe inside. I love that there are purse hooks at every table. The food is delicious. I've gotten the hot honey chicken sliders on biscuits a few times and they're delicious. We also love trying their drinks. last time I tried their kettle corn latte and it was surprisingly really good. Overall, a great brunch spot and we will keep coming also because I had such a great experience here I did try the one in Rancho Cucamonga, but this one was more to my liking. read more

Extremely pleasant staff and an open inviting atmosphere. First impression is that this is an A+ establishment. After being seated and reviewing the menu, noticed that there is a wide variety of selections. Looking at my neighbors dishes, everything looked delicious . I ordered the Veggie Omelette w/egg whites, potatoes, and fruit. ....... STOP THE PRESS ..... The Potatoes were the best I have ever tasted at a restaurant for breakfast!!! Perfect level of doneness, perfect low sodium, and excellent flavor. Extra $15 tip for the chef! ...... RETURNING THE THE REVIEW..... The breakfast was delicious and I will definitely be back with the wife to try other items on the menu. If you are in the area, then please for not miss this hidden gem! read more
The great reviews made this my first choice for brunch. Checked in about 20 minutes before heading over and when we got to the restaurant we were seated in about 5 min. Sat on the patio, it was a really hot day in Aug but the misters really helped. Ordered the Barbie Benny which had barbacoa beef that was really tasty. The poached eggs were a little overcooked but the dish was really good and very filling. My coffee was a nice treat - summer specialty iced latte (can't remember what it was called) that was not too sweet but flavor and toppings were great. We were 3 couples total and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals from burgers to chilaquiles to the fancy pancakes. Service was good, menu has a variety of options but not too overwhelming. read more

If you're looking for a cute brunch spot with bottomless mimosas, this is a perfect choice. My friend and I came in on a Friday afternoon, so it was pretty empty and we got seated right away. The food came out quick & our server was helpful with the menu items! The interior is so pretty and offers many photo ops!! Parking is available on the street or by the dirt lot next to the fountain area near the station. You can also park at the garage, only a 5 minute walk away. Food portions are pretty big, so we had enough for leftovers. I ordered the birria tacos and my friend ordered the biggie bagel! Both delish options :) read more

This place is a must for brunch when visiting Temecula. There was a lot of thought put into not only the decor, but the menu as well!! First, the decor - such a cute cafe with florals, greenery, mirrors & neon signs. Everywhere is IG worthy! Down to the purse stands (excellent touch!) and the water glasses (so cute). Ok, the food - options are plentiful and the service was FAST!! I could not believe how quick our order came out from the kitchen! I had the Haven Avocado Scramble (chefs kiss ). Practically licked my plate clean. Friends had the Diablo & Veggie omelette. 10/10 would go back but get there early because it does get busy!! read more

They have wide variety of food and drink items! Got started with the coffee flight which was amaaazing! They also offer milk subs with the flights. The food was all very tasty and a good amount, very filling. It has such a vibe in there. There is so much to look at. A plus was the parking. Lots of parking around the restaurant. The customer service was great. They were training some girls and they did amazing. Overall would return when Im back to Old Town. read more
Had a wonderful experience at Haven Cafe in Temecula! The Spanish coffee was excellent--rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The portions were generous and definitely worth the price. Our server, Ericka, was super friendly and attentive, and Ruben was very helpful during check-in, making sure we were well taken care of. Located in the charming Old Town Temecula, the café has a warm, inviting vibe. It does get busy on the weekends, so plan accordingly--but it's absolutely worth the wait. Definitely adding this to our go-to spots when in the area! Great drink selection as well. read more

Good brunch spot on the south end of Front Street. Usually busy during the weekends--as is the whole area--but it's within close walking distance of several parking lots, the main parking structure, and street parking. Plenty of seating both indoor and on the patio to people watch the street side. I've tried a few items here, most recently their Belgian waffle. The Millennial Coffee or Vodka Chai are musts if you're into creamy, caffeinated cocktails (can also be made with milk alternatives). They also release a lineup of seasonal cocktails often. Service is typically fast and friendly. read more
I really enjoyed my visit to Haven Haus Cafe. The holiday coffee drinks were awesome and festive but a bit pricey at around $9 each. The lox Benedict was absolutely delicious and well balanced with great quality ingredients. What really stood out was the breakfast platter which was a great value for the amount and variety of food you get. The place has beautiful decor and the service was great and fast. Overall the food was satisfying the presentation was beautiful and it is a great spot for a special brunch or holiday treat. Would definitely come back. read more

I needed a place to study with coffee and alcohol. This was the perfect spot. Amanda was my server and she was wonderful. She knew what I was there for and she made sure I was ok the entire time. I ordered a hazelnut latte which was very good. The other coffee was a holiday one. Some marshmallow charcoal coffee I think. It was ok. The Santa's hat cocktail (lychee cranberry) was sweet and tasty. My espresso martini was of course delish like always. As you can tell, I like this place. Very cute and I've always had great service. read more

We loved everything about this restaurant, we had just done a tasting of some of the organic wines Pamec, at the farmers market in Temecula and they told us that they had wines there at the Haven house. We decided to give it a try we were hungry and they did not disappoint. The food was so good. The burgers were amazing and I had a flight of their iced coffees that just knocked my socks off. They were so good. ... They had a throwback to my childhood they had the most crispy delicious tater tots ... And of course, I had to try their Parmesan crusted sourdough patty melt ... yum!!! We sat on the patio. It was nice and cool very dog friendly very stylish on the inside and they played the most amazing music. It's right on corner in downtown Temecula. Parking is all around. read more

We decided to go to Haven Haus for breakfast this morning. It wasn't too busy when we walked in just after 8:30am, but when we were leaving they definitely started to fill up. Our friend had the breakfast tacos and said they were "fire". My husband had the Glow-Up Burger and he enjoyed it. I ordered the meat lovers skillet with scrambled eggs and sourdough toast; it was delicious. The inside of the restaurant is decorated nicely and it gives off a chill yet sophisticated vibe. The young lady that served us at the bar was sweet, but I did not catch her name. Thank you, we will return. read more

I've been wanting to come here and I'm glad we were able to go during the week. There is always a long line of people waiting on the weekends, but luckily there is plenty of outdoor and indoor dining options. We opted particularly for outside because it was a nice day and we could people watch. Inside was a bit warm even with the windows open. The service was really friendly and the server would come in to check on you a few times. I did order my omelette without cheese, but ended up getting cheese on it anyways. Not a huge deal since I'm not allergic - more of a preference. But if you are allergic to something, I'd recommend you double checking. The food portions are big here so you can definitely share if you'd prefer. Their mocktails are quite good too! I would definitely come back again as their menu is quite large, and I'd love to try other items on the menu for brunch. read more
