The Meat ~ Grilled tri-tip with caramelized onions, provolone, roasted garlic aioli, on a grilled ciabatta with Fries & Catsup.
    Jeff N.

Got to try this place out with my Best Friend the other night. The Menu was very extensive with lots of tasty dishes to try the next time we dine here.. We decided to split the items this time around and the food tasted amazing. We split the Mussels (we both love mussels), they were tasty thanks to the Sauce they were nestled in. The Mussel sauce was So tasty we used it for Dipping We also split 'The Meat' tri-tip sandwich with sweet caramelized onions, provolone, roasted garlic aioli, on a grilled ciabatta bun. Everything was Very Tasty!! Servers were pretty busy, situating the other patrons, taking orders for drinks and food, pouring drinks & setting tables up with silverware for customers just arriving at the place to decide what they want to eat. Ambiance was nice * The Owner was there making sure everything was going smoothly and taking his time to stop and talk with customers about their experience and what they liked about the place, etc. We're definitely going to be returning to try some More of the Fantastic Food at Chef's Grille.

My mom and dad took me and the Mr. to dinner and I must say I wasn't disappointed. Lets start with the ambiance, it was quaint and cozy. The seating was really nice. The banquet to sit on with all the pillows was so comfy. Our server was super sweet and laid back. She was fast and efficient. She checked on us regularly and made sure all of our needs were met. My husband enjoyed his meatball sandwich, and our crab cake appetizer was delicious. I had the braided salmon with the lemon orzo and spinach. We also had the Hot Elote Corn Dip....really scrumptious. This is one of my mom and dad's favorite places to eat and now I can see why. It was a great night.

2.5 stars. I have such mixed feelings about leaving a poor review. Nice, open seating area adjacent to an open hearth (operational most evenings and Sunday). We were seated immediately and they brought water out right away. Expansive menu that was a bit odd to navigate. Elote dip took a long time to come out, probably about 20 minutes after ordering. Given we were one of the only tables there and it was definitely a "heat and serve" sort of appetizer, this was an excessive wait. Taste was fine. It was a Tuesday special; I don't think I'd order it full price. After we completely finished our chips and dip and they cleared it, it took another 15 or so minutes to bring out our food. I feel like these waits were pretty long. Fish and chips was very disappointing. The batter was thick, tough (honestly never a word I thought I'd use to describe batter), and dark as if the frying oil was old. The actual fish was minimal - way too much extra, unappetizing batter we had to break off and put to the side. The whole reason we chose to come here was because I saw other photos of their fish and chips, so I was so let down. Fries were ok, seemed like they used the same old oil but I admit I prefer a firmer French fry. Cabbage salad underneath the fish was most redeemable part of the dish, but had too many cabbage core pieces. Black and Bleu tri tip salad was enjoyable. Tri tip was pretty tender and flavorful. I'm a sucker for Bleu cheese salad, so I'd order this again. Overall, I really wanted to like this place but I just didn't really enjoy our experience that much. Maybe we didn't order right, but I won't be rushing back.

I came in tonight for the Test Kitchen Tuesday event and all I have to say is ahhhhmmmaaazzziiinnnggg! When you come in they have tasty cocktails for purchase while you wait to be seated for the dinner. Chef Martin talks about the test kitchen concept and gets the dinner service going. On the table are sheets to grade different aspects of each course and leave your comments. Service was wonderful and I like that the chef walked around and checked in on the patrons. I'm excited to see more wonderful events at this delightful restaurant!

Our friend was visiting from out of state, so stopped in for visit. Again, food and service were very good. This time I ordered the Bany's Got Crab Cakes entrée (two crab cakes served with fries, lone star slaw & roasted red pepper ranch) while Shelly had 12oz. NY Strip (with bleu cheese butter, asparagus, and mashed potatoes). Big portions, cooked just right, and attentive service.

At the last minute, we decided to change our original dinner plans and go to The Chef's Grille instead. And it was a great choice! This place is a hidden gem and a surprise find. For our feast, we got The Blue Bill sandwich, duck quesadilla, and Popeye salad (if I recall correctly). Everything was delightful! The winner, if I had to choose, was the sandwich. The amalgamation of flavors was outstanding; the blueberry compote complimented the bleu cheese perfectly. This sandwich was one of the tastiest ones I've had. Kudos to the person who thought of this! Service was great despite the place being packed. We had reservations so we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Our server, Michelle, was nice and friendly. The place was a surprise coz the outside doesn't match the inside at all. I even told the owner that one wouldn't have guessed that there would be a place serving yummy dishes from the outside. Parking was easy so issues there. Despite being away from Old Temecula, I'm glad we chose this over our first option. Overall, I'd definitely return if I were back in the area.

Huge menu consisting of various meat, seafood, salads, starters, appetizers, sandwiches, etc. Large clientele base, and great customer service. Rustic southern charm decor. Being it was my first visit I ordered the Fish N Chips, Escargot appetizer, and Branzino with Olives and Capers. Two Made West Hazy IPAs! The Branzino could have been better with the crispy skin attached, and I could not wrap my head around escargot in Demi glaze sauce. Will most likely return to dine once again , and I will order a meat entree.

Mussels with a side of fries--perfection!

This is my favorite restaurant in the area--it's our family's go-to spot for every celebration! You can come with kids but we've also come here for dates. The menu is robust, ever changing, and inspired. There are rotating seasonal menus and the chef holds a monthly pre-fixe experience. In the past, he's even hosted culinary adventures abroad---this man is passionate about food! Most everything is made in-house (try their ranch dressing!) and the menu truly has something for everyone. I love their hearty and flavorful salads and their sandwiches are always a tasty option (the double fried French fries are must!). This restaurant is a family affair and you'll likely be served by a relative of the chef. If you're lucky, you'll be treated to a complimentary slice of coffee cake courtesy of the chef's mom. This place is an absolute gem and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!

This restaurant is a nice spot for good food and relaxed atmosphere, not to mention attentive and professional service. The Chef's Grille has extensive menu. They offer various dishes and specials of the month. There was a lot to choose from and I would suggest to ask your waiter for their recommendations. Anyone can find something good to eat here, although vegetarian and vegan options were limited. We opted for grilled octopus to start with. The octopus was on a fishy side, however, it was really tender and the sauce the came with was really tasty. For mains we chose braided salmon and chicken burger. Both dishes were executed well and had good flavours with balanced seasoning. The orange butter on the salmon was delicious. We also tried their signature poutine fries. The gravy was rich yet homely and mixed well with nicely cooked fries. The drinks at this restaurant are equally good too. Good selection of cocktails and wine. We enjoyed our first visit and you should definitely visit them when you are in the area.

I made a reservation on a Thursday night to celebrate my nephew's birthday. They were so nice and asked a lot of questions to accommodate his egg and shellfish allergy. It's a nice, intimate restaurant, so if you have a bigger party like we did (6), make reservations. They were out of their Thursday special! It must be that good if we were told that dish was gone at the beginning of the week. There is a corkage fee for cakes. Overall, we enjoyed the food and experience

I've been here a few times and the service is always really good. I love that all the staff seems engaged with the foods they always know what's good and what's on special and you can tell they have actually eaten and are excited about the food they serve. I have loved everything I've had here. The poutine is delicious as is the chimichurri fries. The fillet is so tender and perfectly cooked. The fish and chips is tender and flakey

Food : all the food we ordered is flavorful. I tasted a little bit of everything! Kids cheeseburgers are also good. Meat is cooked to perfection. Juicy, the buns are tasty. Blue Balls (meatballs) are my favorite. Location: This restaurant is inside the small shopping center near downtown Murrieta. It has plenty of parking space. Easy to access from the freeway. Service: Our server was friendly. She explained all the questions we had. Food came out in 15 min. She came back a couple of times to check on us, refill drinks, and take empty plates. Great service. We will come back and try something different!

Stopped by here on the way up to big bear. We sat our on their cute patio and enjoyed our lunch which consisted of the following items: Duck wings/coleslaw: 4.5/5 The duck wings were actually the drummettes but very unique and juicy. The coleslaw was also very unique and delicious! The coleslaw cabbage was cut in large strips and covered in a tangy, creamy, dressing. I can honestly say I've never had American style duck wings or their type of coleslaw before and I'd definitely come back for this dish. Adult Mac and cheese 2.5/5 Not anything life changing and on the wetter side. Fries 3.75/5 Got the chimichurri fries and they were pretty tasty. Fried well, and the sauce was tasty. Grille burger 3.5/5 Flavorful but needed some type of textural change... lettuce or coleslaw would be good. Otherwise it was a very soft bite and soggy within a few mins. L This restaurant does get extra points for having the cutest doggy treats for my pup!

From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Hours of operation hover around Happy Hour and dinner, closing at 9 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment and themed events in the future, at which time I will follow up on this review. Thank you, Faith, Megan & Orquedea for a wonderful time.--

My parents got the French toast. Very generous portions and probably could have just gotten one plate and share. They took some leftovers home. My turkey club on a croissant was ok. I suppose I had another vision of it but the thing was huge mostly due to the lettuce and I really hate having to break apart a sandwich to eat it. I think it could have been maybe grilled and pushed own more so I can get everything in one bite. My son liked the crab cake Benedict. My husband got the fried steak but the toasted (or limp) bread smelled and tasted rancid - like Ajax. Between that and the water smelling chemically, we were kind of grossed out by the whole experience. We told the waitress of the bread and she offered more breakfast potatoes which I think is the best thing on the plates, he declined. I think it will be awhile if we decide to come back. From Chatgbt: Most likely cause: bread came into contact with cleaning/sanitizing chemicals (from a cutting board, knife, toaster, or counter that wasn't fully rinsed). What to do: don't eat it; rinse mouth and drink water. If there's burning, nausea, or throat irritation, call Poison Control (US: 1-800-222-1222) and let the restaurant manager know. Their French decor is modern and chic. We were there last night for the first time, and it will not be our last! Anytime you try a pre-fixe menu, you never know what you'll be served but dish after dish, we were impressed by the beautiful presentations and well balanced dishes. Loved and appreciated the chef's creativity of combining French and Asian flavors into every dish. I also chose a wine pairing option for drinks, and was introduced to a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc and Rose. Overall, it was a memorable evening with great food and service, and we are looking forward to visiting them again when they change their next season's menu with our friends. (They change their pre-fixe menu three times a year, according to our waiter) Highly recommend it! Cheers to their chef!

The variety was exciting, complex and elegant; my boyfriend and I shared the duck confit, beef tartare, brioche loaf, French loaf, Japanese Caesar salad, beet&passion fruit salad, and for dessert the affogato and cake&cream. Every single thing was the best flavor I've ever had I ordered the house wine flight and let the bartender create an experience that was full of natural, harmonious flavors. My boyfriend ordered some of the cocktails (brandy old fashioned, thee Aegean) which he shared with me, and they were some of the most creative, immersive flavors I've ever had in a drink. I'm so excited to impress my friends by bringing them here :)
