Great place!!! Love my sushi and sashimi plate. They just started selling wagyu and they let me sample it. It was a great time. The food was great and tasted so fresh. The service was great as well. The place has been around forever and I could taste the difference in the quality from other places around here. Can't wait to go back.

Sapporo is my favorite AYCE sushi restaurant. The service is always excellent, with friendly and familiar staff that always make you feel welcome. The food quality, taste, and presentation has consistently been great! My family and I always leave feeling happy and full each time we visit. Highly recommend

Mito made me the Hummingbird roll. One of, if not THE best I've ever had. I've already reviewed this place before but I highly recommend you come check it out but holy shit there's nothing else to come try this role and wait till he's working and enjoy something absolutely incredible

Over 40$ for all you can eat sushi. Wasn't bad if youre craving sushi and near by. But for the price I would consider going elsewhere. Service was quick we did get offered baked muscles and wagyu sushi that never came out. That may have made it worth the price but ill never be able to say. Also after ordering the waitress mentioned that the sushi was 1 per order. Place was clean, not too busy, plenty of workers.

Oh my gosh! I feel like they have new ownership or something because this was an amazing experience for us! We wanted something close to home but haven't always been impressed with Sapporo. However, today was a different story. Number one, we were immediately warmly greeted by Anthony (who was our server as well). He is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and made recommendations. He also was incredibly respectful. The entire place has been remodeled with new everything! The food was so fresh! Hubs ordered the Lakers and the tuna was melt in your mouth!!! I ordered the Boobie which was hilarious when they brought it out. Genuinely looked like a boobie. It was delicious and a full C cup so I took it home as I couldn't eat the whole thing. Go check them out!!

I love coming here. The servers are very friendly and attentive. We were able to get seated right away and they also took our orders at a good time. The food came out pretty fast as well! Great prices for AYCE sushi! The restaurant is medium sized, but they are efficient! The place is clean and close by to our home. We will definitely return due to the service, food, and location!

This is hands-down, the best all you can eat sushi place. My fiancé and I go every other weekend just for a date night, the service is always excellent, the food is always consistent and fresh.

I am so impressed with what you can get here for just $17.99!!! Just look at these 3 beautiful rolls! The salad looks epic too and not pictured is a bowl of miso soup. Wow! And service was super fast and friendly too! I plan on coming back! Especially by myself for the 11:30-3pm lunch special window. Maybe I'll come with a friend to get the all you can eat option for dinner some time too! Just tried it and the raw salmon on the Pretty roll is super fresh. Oh damn! Red Dragon is even better! Might be my fave of the 3 because of the mix of flavors and sauces. Kamikaze is a close second to the Red Dragon. Fish is fresh and they don't skimp on the avo. Salad is super tasty too!! Yup. I'll be back. Thanks Sapporo! You made my day! What a value!

First visit! Celebrating our 32nd Anniversary, blown away by freshness and flavor of sushi! Service was friendly and super quick, even with a full house! Thank you for a very fun night! We will be back soon with friends! Ask for server Anthony! He's awsome, really helped us navigate the large menu! And try the Steeler roll! It's incredible!

Best sushi spot around! We love to come here and do they all you can eat. The sushi is always fresh and super flavorful. Some of our favorites are the ceviche roll, blanco roll, and we love the seared ahi, and seared escalor(white tuna) they are all packed with great flavors. The staff is always nice and friendly, we especially like it when we get Anthony as our mean server he is always friendly and on top of his service game although they all kind of help each other out we enjoy his service the best and that's a huge reason why we return here along with the great sushi. The restaurant is always nice and clean so that's a plus for me. I highly recommend this sushi spot over any others in the valley. We will definitely be back soon like always. Thanks for the great experience Sapporo! Keep up the great work.

Having received a rave review from a friend, I took a chance on Sapporo Sushi. Placing my order online and promptly driving to the establishment for pickup, I immediately noticed that the place was PACKED with patrons chomping away at various sushi rolls, edamame, and fish selections. This rose a brow on my face, and raised my expectations for presentation and taste. Having frequently dined on sushi and sashimi in Japan over the course of my life, my standards are quite high to say the least, and Sapporo fell short due to the quality of rice that was used. A definite "show-stopper" when it comes to Japanese cuisine. To further confirm, I had sushi from another establishment simultaneously due them utilizing actual crab vice imitation crab so I had another rice to compare. The atmosphere of the restaurant was similar to a diner or cafeteria due to the close placement of the tables and the noise level. Customer service was quite good, but the experience was not on par with my usual place.

We sat at the bar, which made the whole experience even better--we got to watch all the beautifully crafted rolls come out and chat with the chef, who gave us great recommendations. One thing that really stood out is how customizable everything is. I've never been to a sushi spot where it felt this easy (and encouraged) to build your own roll. We ordered the beef teriyaki roll, tuna lovers roll, and a custom shrimp tempura roll with cream cheese inside, deep fried, topped with avocado and spicy tuna--so good. It's not strictly traditional if that's what you're after, but it's incredibly creative and thoughtfully put together. If you're open to a more modern, inventive sushi experience, this place is absolutely worth it.

This is coming from someone that has 6years of experience as a waitress, part of that working in a sushi restaurant. The staff was very unkind to my mother for having a gluten allergy. They stated that she cannot have the rice because of having gluten in it?? My mom react to the soy sauce, we have not had a problem with the sushi rice from this location. The tone that the first male server gave was giving "this is an inconvenience" so by stating the rice claim, almost to get us to leave all together. Then he says he will have all the rolls not have any sauce on top which was nice of him to offer. Then we had female waitress, Kelly, who we tried to ask a a question as she was passing. I watched her sit a table, clean a table, place a check before coming back to answer our question. (All I understand) until she walks by our table and pretends not to look at us. So I have to stop her again because one of the roles had a sauce on top. So I asked her if the sauce had gluten in it. Again. (2nd time I asked this question from her passing by twice) she acted as if this was a new question, and was trying to walk away. She assured the sauce does have gluten. So I told her that we already explained to the male sever that we cannot have gluten in the sauces. We kept that roll for the gluten people and order another roll for my mom to eat. She then asks us for another round of tea and brings us a teapot of just hot water.... Overall, I cannot stand when servers make you feel like an inconvenience. The Hana sushi staff by chaparral on Winchester is MUCH FRIENDLIER we are regulars to both locations. After this encounter, we all agreed we will make it a point to only go to the Winchester location as they are very kind and attentive to my mother's allergies.

The interior is well-decorated with booths and tables to choose from. We were seated at a larger table for 5 adults. Once we were seated, we asked about the all you can eat service and were told to order from a paper. They give you 3 rounds to order whatever you'd like that's available on the menu. Lunch and dinner have different prices and a few more options available for dinner specifically. While filling out the forms, our servers were very good about checking in with us, double-checking if our paper order was ready or not without rushing us, and refilling drinks whenever we were less than halfway done. The quality of the sushi is really good. I felt like the nigiri was really had really good quality fish with a nice bit of seasoning. Each bite felt fresh and easy to eat. My favorite was the mackerel and eel because of their strong flavors. The rolls were also quite flavorful, with lots of different flavors and options. I really enjoyed the spider roll, but all of them were delicious. I'm so glad we stopped by to try because we have a new sushi place in our rotation. Definitely stop by if you're in the area for an amazing deal, and ayce is not your thing, the rolls themselves I think are worth it to order!

I've eaten here a couple of times before I posting a review because sometimes experiences aren't…read moreall the same. Unfortunately, they both were for me. Having just moved here from a beach community, I was spoiled by a superb sushi restaurant in San Clemente. Though, my boyfriend loves this place for the all you can eat sushi, but he orders his same thing every time (Mexican roll), and the White House (a heavy cream baked fish) I always order something along the lines of a Rainbow Roll or a Superman Burrito (ahi hand-roll , which I don't think they had), I lean towards fresh ahi tuna, salmon and yellowtail selections. First off, my sake was lukewarm, whereas, I like hot sake. They did reheat it, so it improved it. They had an odd selection of alcoholic drinks: screwdriver, jack and coke, and Long Island iced tea, type of cocktails. Strange, but ok, whatever is a crowd pleaser. The fish to me didn't taste very fresh and seemed more chewy, especially the shrimp. I tried the White House, which tasted fine, but it was so heavy with thick cream sauce. Overall, I guess, it just didn't measure up to the quality that I am used to, comparatively. The vinyl booths were outdated, and dishes made me feel like I was in a cafeteria, white and light plastic. This change would probably elevate the experience and, possibly, even make the food present and taste better. However, maybe this is the theme that they are going for. Though all of those things should be improved upon, I do have to say that the staff was very attentive and kind. I know that a lot of people love this place for their reasons, and my best experience there was them. The last comment I will add is that, when it comes to celebrating a birthday, the celebratory music that is played, is just too loud. A small adjustment in volume would be efficient enough to make someone's day a better one. Maybe, in a few months, I'll try the establishment out again and see how they're doing. Sometimes, just by drawing a fine line on what type of experience you want customer's to have, can make all the difference. Sometimes, less is more. Just don't lose the staff, great customer service does really count.

Perfect for anniversary dinner:…read more Omakase sushi is one of the most refined and memorable dining experiences you can have, especially if you appreciate attention to detail, freshness, and craftsmanship. From the moment you sit down, there's a clear sense that this is not just a meal--it's a curated journey guided entirely by the chef's expertise and intuition. What makes omakase stand out is the trust you place in the chef. Instead of choosing dishes yourself, you allow the chef to present a sequence of sushi that highlights the best ingredients available that day. This often results in a progression that feels intentional and balanced, starting with lighter, more delicate flavors and gradually moving toward richer, more complex pieces. Each bite is thoughtfully designed to showcase the natural qualities of the fish, the texture of the rice, and the subtle interplay of seasoning. The freshness of the ingredients is immediately noticeable. High-quality omakase typically features fish flown in from top markets, and you can taste the difference. The fish is clean, tender, and often melts in your mouth. The rice, which is just as important as the fish, is seasoned perfectly--slightly warm, lightly vinegared, and shaped with precision so it holds together without being dense. Another standout aspect is the craftsmanship. Watching the chef prepare each piece right in front of you adds a level of appreciation you don't get with standard dining. Every movement is deliberate, from slicing the fish to forming the rice to brushing on just the right amount of soy or adding a touch of wasabi. It becomes clear that years of training and discipline go into even the simplest-looking piece of sushi. Omakase also introduces you to varieties of fish and preparations you might never order on your own. This expands your palate and helps you discover new favorites. Seasonal ingredients often play a role, which keeps the experience dynamic and unique each time you go. Service is typically intimate and attentive, especially if you're seated at the counter. The chef may explain each piece, offer guidance on how to eat it, or adjust the pacing based on your preferences. This interaction adds a personal element that enhances the overall experience. While omakase can be more expensive than regular sushi, the value lies in the quality, skill, and overall experience. It's not just about eating--it's about enjoying a carefully orchestrated meal that reflects both tradition and creativity. Overall, omakase sushi delivers a level of quality and thoughtfulness that's hard to match. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines artistry, flavor, and a sense of occasion, omakase is absolutely worth it.
