It's a bit small and casual but what they lack in size is made up for with their tasty food! The only reason for the lack of one star is unfortunately each time l have come (and ordered almost identical things), l have had extremely bad tummy issues thereafter. So l will one by one be omitting one item of my usual order to see what item it is and just not eat that item. The ramen is delicious. The best we've had in the area. My kids eat it up! We'd seen the place multiple times while grocery shopping and finally gave it a try a few months ago. Then we went back several times and definitely have our favorites. Wednesday is Saki Wednesday so if you like sake make sure you come in. Some of our favorite roles are the blue fin roll, samba crunch and albacore special. I also ordered their yellow tail sashimi and it was super good. Their bento and fried dishes were also good as my family ordered some. The service was also great and welcoming. The crispy salmon skin paired with the fresh greens and flavorful dressing created an amazing mix of texture and taste. It's easily one of our favorite dishes here. Everything was amazing at Sushi Plus One. We were very warmly greeted as soon as we entered. They were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. She checked on us regularly to make sure we were good. We ended up getting garlic edamame (delicious!), Gyoza (perfectly fried), two lunch specials. She also informed us that the toro was especially good that day so we ordered a 2 pieces. The lunch specials came with miso soup and let me tell you when I saw the color on that thing I knew it was going to be delicious. I got myself a refill it was that good. Foe the lunch specials my wife for the sushi and roll and I got the sushi sampler. Every piece was deliciously made by the chef who talked to us about what he had made. They were all unique and very very tasty. We finally got the toro sushi. These pieces were off the premium menu and they certainly lived up to it. Waitress was really friendly and attentive I didn't get her name :( We only have an hr lunch break and it was nice finding somewhere we can get good sushi and good timing. I didn't think I would find any decent sushi places in this area, but this place surprised me. My wife and I would prefer to come here over many of the sushi places in OC. Everything tasted really fresh and flavor was spot on with everything we ordered. I ordered King Scallop Mint Roll which had cucumber, perilla leaves, jalapeño, sprouts, asparagus, pink salt, and yuzu citrus. The scallop tasted fresh and slightly sweet, and all the ingredients really accentuated the flavor. It was a very refreshing roll. My wife's chirashi bowl was really good as well. Didn't come with any exotic sushi but everything tasted like high quality. This actually would've been five stars if the service wasn't so slow. The pace of food was rather odd. My kids' CA roll came out within 15 minutes but took about 10 additional minutes for my wife's dish, and another 10 minutes before I got mine. Good thing I wasn't hungry when I got here because even without hunger, the wait was somewhat uncomfortable. Another party that came after us got all their food before we all got ours, which was upsetting. My family and I would still come back here if we are in the area again, as long as we can get here before the dinner rush. It's a small, popular place that gets packed quickly. read more

Well, I'm not wondering anymore because I found it here at Sushi Plus One in Murrieta! Located in the Stater Bros. Shopping Center on Los Alamos and Hancock, you'll find this little secret near Chuck E. Cheese and CVS. Ample parking is available, and the staff was friendly when I picked up my online order. This was my first time trying this place out after seeing some social media posts about it. I decided to treat myself after class on a Wednesday night, and it was great! I placed my order and was pleasantly surprised with the 10% off discount. It took about 20 to 25 minutes for them to prepare it, but when I picked up, it was ready. The rolls were all perfectly proportionate as far as the fish to rice ratio. I ate all 3 in one sitting! The mackerel was a delight, and I'm stoked to have found a place that offers it in a roll form! The Philadelphia and Eel & Avocado Rolls are classic staples and these were bomb! The rice was good and not too soft or hard like some places (yuck)! The place isn't big, but you can definitely dine in. It's a casual, sit-down restaurant with a laid-back atmosphere. My family stopped by this restaurant on Saturday for lunch. We walked in and waited a bit to have a seat. We were shown our table and given our menus. We ordered our drinks; hot tea, 2 waters and an Arnold Palmer. The waitress was amazing! She was very kind and offered us miso soup and at the end monkey balls. It was chill inside with nice sushi photos decorating the walls and a few TVs mounted to watch various shows. There were a few guests already there when we arrived, but the service was great and the waitress was attentive. My girls ordered the kids chicken teriyaki with no sauce. It came with white rice and some tempura. We also had edamame. My other daughter ordered shrimp tempura. I ordered a Philly roll and a shrimp crunch roll. My husband ordered Tonkatsu Ramen. The grand finale was vanilla ice cream cones! The waitress was so kind. She even offered to take pictures of guests at their tables. We all said, wasabi! She then offered us some monkey balls. We've never had them, but they were filled with crab and mushrooms and two sauces on top. Unexpectedly yummy! The lovely waitress said, see you tomorrow as we left.
