Honestly I hate to hate on a new business, but we did not enjoy this place. We ordered takeout and for over $20 a roll, I felt they were made very small. We usually go to sushi sake down the street and they are double the size of these rolls. It wouldn't have been as bad if they tasted good, but they were just ok. Some of the rolls tasted very fishy, which i don't like. There were no sauces beyond soy....Very disappointing. We were trying to treat ourselves, we spent $150 on this sushi. Will not be back. I was excited to finally try this place - I've seen the "coming soon" signs for a while now. I ordered through DoorDash, so I can't speak to the quality of the service, restaurant ambiance, etc. My order was tuna nigiri, a salmon skin roll, caterpillar roll, and a negihama roll (like negitoro but with yellowtail instead of toro). The quality was good and everything was tasty. However, the portions were microscopic. I don't think I've ever seen rolls so tiny! For the prices they charged, it was disappointing. I mean - I would expect to pay $18 for a roll at, say, Nobu, but come on. That said, I know some restaurants upcharge and/or downsize the portions when it's a DoorDash / GrubHub / UberEats order, so I will probably give them another try by going in person. read more
