The sushi here is very good. The pieces are big with not too much rice. I got the lunch special with 3 items consisting of a spicy tuna roll, garlic chicken and teriyaki salmon. I got the teriyaki sauce on the side. The lunch came with a salad, miso soup, a side of rice and 2 gyoza. I was impressed with the sushi as well as the salmon. Even without teriyaki sauce the salmon was seasoned and cooked well. The garlic chicken was another story. The chicken texture was off putting as well as the flavor. It had no hint of garlic and was odd slices of chicken with undercooked sliced onions. The miso soup was flavorful but had nothing else in it except two tiny squares of tofu. The salad was just a small, average Japanese salad. The dressing was a little bland. It's a very small little place but it's clean inside. I would recommend it if you are just going to have sushi. read more

The sushi rolls are huge! They have lunch specials like 2 rolls from the selection for $19.99 or 3 for $24.99. Same specials with bento box. Pick 2 or 3 items for the same price as the rolls. The food was good enough. If you don't order the specials, one roll can cost you $19.99. Service was pretty good and ambiance was not bad at all. I have left previous reviews for this wonderful establishment but the reason I keep coming back and keep everything updated is because this particular restaurant really does deserve the attention. You cant find sushi as fresh and as tender as they serve here everyday. Every cut, every roll, every slice is portioned generously and is succulently delectable. Sake Sushi is a special local gem holding its own among all of the overly hyped franchise chains that populate the area. My wife and I love this restaurant, this our second visit, I had posted a review of our first visit, but it only commented on their chicken plates. This time we thought we would try their sushi. We ordered the Citris Roll, that has crab, avocado, and cucumber in the inside, and the outside was salmon, avocado, and citrus flying fish eggs. No imitation crab! It was delicious. You have to try it. The roll is larger than what we have had at other restaurants, so if you are not very proficient with chop sticks, then you will need a fork. The favor of this roll is different, the crab is not imitation, the cucumbers were crunchy, and the salmon was excellent, it melted in our mouths. We also ordered the Rainbow rolls, it is a combination of assorted fish on the outside, and the inside is standard, crab, cucumber and avocado. It, also, was nicely prepared and equally delicious. Alongside the rolls we order their beef teriyaki plate this time. We substituted the tempura for a salad. The plate was presented in a bento box, this compartmentalized the servings, the beef was not as tender as we would have liked but even the best sushi restaurants cannot always live up to tender beef. The rice was fluffy, salad was crisp and cool, the miso soup is awesome. The service has been excellent each time we have visited. The restuarant is quiet and clean. As are their restrooms. Our go-to sushi spot in the area! They have extremely friendly service and they offer some great lunch and happy hour specials. The lunch specials include a serving of soup and salad, both very flavorful. They have huge portions so the half rolls are perfect sized, but regular rolls are great for table sharing. We ordered a Dragon Roll, an order of Saba Sushi and a lunch plate with Teriyaki beef & deep fried calamari. The lunch plate included a small salad and miso soup. Normally I can finish a whole Dragon roll in one sitting but Sake Sushi is serving up Ginormous rolls! The Unagi was grilled perfectly and the Saba were so fresh, it was sweet! Domo Arigato! The calamari was crunchy on the outside and tender in the inside. The beef was tender as well, with lots of flavor. Highly recommend trying Sake Sushi, if you've never been. Hello all, Hidden in the hills and tucked away in a shopping center you'll find this gem. They have a sushi menu with dozens of rolls you never heard of before. Many with and with out rice. The rolls are usually 8 pieces but they are THICK and we'll worth the cost. Service is friendly and light on their feet, always buzzing about. A couple TVs are usually playing a sport of some sort here. They are usually busy but seem to have good turn over of tables. Nicely decorated with your typical sushi joint vibe. First one was a baked roll called Angels, which had spicy crabmeat, avocado, cream cheese, yellowtail, scallion, and masgo. Delicious! Perfect ratio of rice and fish. The other 2 rolls we got had no rice. First one was the Refreshing, which had tuna, salmon, yellowtail, spicy crab, tempura flakes, cucumber, lemon, and jalapeños. If you like spicy, this roll is for you. Also it lives up to the name, because it did have a refreshing taste after the spicy taste. Second one was the M.I.L.F which had spicy tuna, spicy crab, salmon, albacore, cucumber, ginger, lemon, and fresh mango. This one wasn't as spicy but still had a little kick. All the rolls were absolutely exquisite! So much flavor! None of the rolls needed any soy sauce.
