Was not prepared for how much fun my family and I were about to have when we walked into Sake Sushi. First can I just say, the only good sushi chef's are the ones drinking beer, taking sake shots, and interacting with the guests. Am I right? This place is small with big heart. The server was so friendly and attentive. She also had great advice on what to order. The portions were incredible not your usual roll size (also a bonus from the chefs drinking ?) My kids tried some sushi but ultimately went with chicken tenders. My wife had the teriyaki chicken which was huge. I had the charger roll with fresh jalapeño on top. Yum ! Also had the Chirashi plate with miso soup. There was so much fresh fish and a healthy portion of steamed rice! The best part of the evening is when the lights went down and started flashing when the music started playing to celebrate a little girls birthday. The entire staff and restaurant got into it. Super fun! read more

Well what I can say for sure is that the sushi is big and delicious. They have a lunch special that includes a miso soup and a salad which is delicious & certainly fills you up. I believe that we were waited on by a newer girl and so she was not very familiar with the menu or answering questions we had. I probably came during a bad time because based on the reviews this place seems to be radiating with positivity. Hopefully we will give this place another try again soon! read more

Our good friends just moved to Marietta a few weeks ago and today we went to visit them and they treated us to their very favorite sushi bar near them. . My girlfriend ordered a California roll with the avocado on the outside and it was excellent. We also had great mixed tempura. All the portions are huge and very well presented. We will be back when we visit them or stay at pechanga hotel since we live in LA and Palm Desert. read more

What a wonderful and amazing surprise this sushi place was! We got stuck in traffic driving in the rain from San Diego celebrating my birthday with a bad experience from a really well-known, big-name restaurant and we were hoping not to get another one of those experiences. I searched Yelp and as always, we trusted the reviews and always gave the benefit of the doubt. As we entered, warm staff greetings all over and we sat ourselves as we were allowed to pick our spot. All the staff were friendly, wearing masks , attentive, honest and explained things on the menu very clearly for us. We were new to the place because we were just passing through so as we ordered our food(and we ordered too much!), the wait staff was so honest enough to let us know that their portions were BIG and so, we took the staff's advice to maybe order just a few and see if we need more later.. Had we not done that, there would have been so much wasted food. Or to-go boxes was also an option. I have never seen the biggest Spicy Tuna Hand Roll in my entire sushi eating-life! Ever! The fish was fresh and it was great. We ordered a few more that were so big. Our husbands ordered noodle and they looked like they were eating out of buckets and us girls were sharing their soup because it was cold. We had warm sake which is always awesome. Wish I could give this place 10 stars! The sushi here comes in enormous sizes. I could order half of what I usually do but it is so tasty. The sushi chef was incredibly nice. Tried this place out . I ordered 2 pieces of blue fin tuna , they bring me a 10 piece out and I said I only ordered 2 piece , they said sushi doesn't come as 2 piece only sashimi comes as 2 piece. I say than why would you bring me A 10 piece . The meat on the 10 piece was not good at all and I didn't not eat it . He says okay I'll take off my bill . My bill comes and it's off , when they ring up my check and bring the bill back it was $20 higher (they added it back on hoping I wouldn't notice) . Shady and now to try and make a couple bucks ; they lose me as a customer for life and I eat sushi a lot . I'll go back across the street and will not recommend to anyone . read more

The sushi was really good. If you are a sushi enthusiast and sometimes crave your sushi with spicy mayo... Prepare for spicy miraclewhip. Maybe label that. I love spicy mayo with my sushi. miraclewhip is not the same. But I guess you could go down the street for some spicy mayo. Good sushi tho. read more

My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I ate less than half of what I ordered. The one side thing to order is the fresh wasabi. That will heighten your sushi experience regardless of where you go. The service was great and the food was delicious. They have some specials - 2 rolls for $26. I would come back here again and have already recommended it to family. read more

The best sushi joint around, no joke. I used to drive to Riverside from Lake Elsinore for my sushi fix, but once I found this place I will never get sushi anywhere else again. They do not skimp on the seafood, the fish-rice ratio is perfect, and the SIZE of their rolls are huge. I always have good service when I come in, and I go here biweekly if not weekly. I visited this place 2 weeks ago for dinner with my family. Recently the ownership of Sake Sushi changed, and I was curious if the restaurant would be the same or different. Overall, most of the dishes still taste amazing and the portions are worth their cost. The chefs also have great presentation for their food. There are flowers, patterns made with leaves, and even fire related decor. The restaurant itself is also pretty cozy, with comfy seats and good lighting. The staff is also very nice and often ask if you need anything, which is also a good feature. This place is 5/5 for me. read more

Horrible sushi!!! Stay far far away from this place!! All rice and fake crab meat the roll had barely any bottom feeding spiny white fish. To boot, wife got sick from this "food." We should have know as soon as we walked in with the strong smell of "fabulouslo" cleaner and the wait staff asking if we wanted ginger and wasabi. Isn't that standard? They offer a great 2 and/or 3 item combo special which comes with a small bowl of salad and miso soup. When rolls are ordered as part of the combo they are only 1/2 orders which is great if you like to try different rolls without getting crazy stuffed. The salad appeared to be freshly cut greens which counts for a lot in my book too, none of that pre-packaged crud. This place is in the same shopping plaza as Stater Bros and the restaurant wasn't crowded at all, no wait for lunch when we went on a Sunday. Staff was really pleasant and attentive. Great sushi with large portions. Been getting to go orders since COVID started. Escolar is great, monkey balls are awesome, peppered salmon is really good. Great sushi quality! I'm a pilot and I travel ALOT. And I love my sushi and Chirashi bowls. Anyways Sake Sushi is really great! When you go in there you got to meet Tony, he's the owner and the sushi chef. He's such a great guy to talk to when sitting barside. He and Sammy make the best sushi rolls and trust me it'll fill you up but you just want to keep eating. Lexi, Haley, and Hailey were all amazing as well when it came to service. They all work together and it's amazing. I recommend this place to anyone who wants great food and service! I know tipping isn't mandatory but you have to bc they're all just amazing. If I'm ever back towards this part of the US I'm definitely coming back to this place. This is my 2nd time since I'm here for a week. And both times were AMAZING. Even the other customers at the bar are friendly. Try this place at the request of my eldest for his birthday. Took the order to go and waited for about 35 minutes. I'd say a little on the pricey side for rolls when compared to and all you can eat but they do have a 2 rolls for 30 deal. The rolls were "girthy" and had pretty good flavor. For the wife and I ordered the citrus roll and the Albacore roll. I love the slices of lemon and the citrus rolls which cut through all the richness, The roll was very good it had a lot of salmon and had great flavor. Albuquerque is one of my favorites and I love when they sear the outside, the raw red onion complimented it well. The crunch roll that my son ordered was pretty standard at great flavor and my son enjoyed it very much. The youngest ordered the plain California roll and ate the entire thing so thumbs up from the little one. Nice little spot and will definitley try again. read more

It was incredibly fresh, light, and refreshing--the perfect roll for a warm day. Every roll we tried was flavorful, well-prepared, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes you receive. It's hard to find a place that consistently delivers great food every visit, but Sushi Ka has done exactly that for us. We always look forward to coming back, and we'll definitely be returning again on our next trip.

I love sushi and try different places to find great sushi in town. I have heard this restaurant from my friends and so my boyfriend and I went to this place today for lunch and thought of ordering all you can eat sushi since we haven't had anything since we woke up today. We thought they have all you can eat sushi but they don't offer that. So we decided to order from lunch menu and regular menu. We tried all the stuff we ordered: tiger rolls, 50/50, sashimi, just to name the few. The food presentation were great and the service too! But then until after couple of hours later, both my boyfriend and I had to go to the restroom several times...I don't know what were on those sushi but our stomach didn't settle the food we ate there. 3 because of the service and the presentation but not the food. read more

I was very impressed by the creativity and hefty portion sizes of their rolls, which veers on almost two rolls in one (You will NOT be able to find portion sizes of this generosity in the city, desafortunadamente). I was so stuffed before I even finished half of our first roll! We ordered the rainbow and protein roll. I especially enjoyed the protein roll because it was so beautiful to look at and even more delicious to eat. There's a bit of the tempura crunch at the end, very fresh albacore fish inside. We recently dined at Sake Sushi, and it was an outstanding experience! From the moment we walked in, our server was attentive and all around great, making sure we had everything we needed. The portion size for the lunch special was very fair, and I truly appreciated the cash discount offered. This little perk made our visit even more enjoyable. This is one of my favorite sushi places in the riverside county. I would eat here more often if it was closer to me! The sashimi is always super fresh! I've tried a couple other items on the menu such as their Special Roll, Milf Roll, Black Cod, Yellowtail kama, crispy tuna, etc. Everything was good! I haven't been back here in months. As a leader myself, I also believe it is important to fully understand a situation before passing judgment. My Father's Day experience at Gin Sushi was disappointing, particularly in how a situation was handled by the owner's son. After many years of choosing Gin Sushi to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and other important milestones in my family's life, I am saddened to say that I will no longer be a customer. I entered the restaurant and informed an employee that I had a party of six. I was advised that my entire party needed to be present before we could be seated. Understanding that policy, I asked whether I could wait at the bar until the rest of my family arrived. I was told that the bar was closed. The response came across as frustrated and dismissive, which left me confused since I was simply trying to understand my options while waiting for my family. I stepped outside and waited. After seeing several parties leave the restaurant, I returned inside and asked whether I could claim a table while waiting for the rest of my group. Again, I was told that I would not be seated until my entire party arrived. The interaction continued to feel unnecessarily tense. Sensing frustration during the interaction, I made a comment to the effect of, "You seem a little unhappy today." I then turned to two of her colleagues, smiled, wished them both a Happy Father's Day, and exited the restaurant to continue waiting for the rest of my party. When my party arrived and we approached the entrance together, the owner's son came out and began addressing my interaction with the employee. During that conversation, I was told that I had insisted on sitting at the bar. That was simply not true. I had only asked whether I could wait there while my family arrived. I invited him to review the security footage. He stated that he had reviewed the video, but that it did not contain audio. I respect the fact that he wanted to support his employee. Every good leader should. However, I found his demeanor toward me to be dismissive and unprofessional. Rather than seeking to understand what had actually occurred, it felt as though conclusions had already been drawn. Perhaps it was simply a misunderstanding. Perhaps it was a difficult day for everyone involved. I do not know. What I do know is that after years of celebrating special occasions at Gin Sushi, I left feeling unwelcome and disrespected. As a result, I chose to take my business elsewhere.
