My family stopped by this restaurant on Saturday for lunch. We walked in and waited a bit to have a seat. We were shown our table and given our menus. We ordered our drinks; hot tea, 2 waters and an Arnold Palmer. The waitress was amazing! She was very kind and offered us miso soup and at the end monkey balls. It was chill inside with nice sushi photos decorating the walls and a few TVs mounted to watch various shows. There were a few guests already there when we arrived, but the service was great and the waitress was attentive. My girls ordered the kids chicken teriyaki with no sauce. It came with white rice and some tempura. We also had edamame. My other daughter ordered shrimp tempura. I ordered a Philly roll and a shrimp crunch roll. My husband ordered Tonkatsu Ramen. The grand finale was vanilla ice cream cones! The waitress was so kind. She even offered to take pictures of guests at their tables. We all said, wasabi! She then offered us some monkey balls. We've never had them, but they were filled with crab and mushrooms and two sauces on top. Unexpectedly yummy! The lovely waitress said, see you tomorrow as we left. We enjoyed the family vibe as we ate and eventually left. Wonderful service and delicious food will make us return another day! read more

This little sushi spot is amazing!! We were greeted promptly upon entering by both the waitress and sushi chefs. Great atmosphere! The waitress was so prompt and offered great suggestions from the menu. The food...it came out quickly and was very fresh and delicious. The rolls are big portions too. The price is very reasonable and this was a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back. read more

Sushi was fresh and well presented, our server was very knowledgeable suggesting lunch specials saving us money rather than ordering from the menu, attentive and friendly. Restaurant is a bit small but not overly crowded or noisy. read more

Every time we come here its amazing. Lunch specials are perfectly curated by the chef just for you. The sweet lady Susie at the host desk is so welcoming. We have been here for 2 birthdays so far and always special times. Plus 2 casual lunch dates always welcoming and inviting. The music is very cool like jazz ie and low key unless u go in on a friday or saturday night. Then it can get wild. Saki wednesday is fire So be here or be square!! read more

Although placed in a smaller setting, we were able to fit a 10-person party comfortably. We enjoyed a higher-energy staff who broke the normal restaurant experience by spicing up the experience. Everyone enjoyed the sushi as it tasted really great! If you are into sake, you REALLY need to look into their weeknight sake specials (a whole (4 - 6 shot) bottle for, yes, $1 !!) We will be returning as it was a good experience. read more

Having to overhaul my diet means limiting my options and staying away from fried foods and high cholesterol foods (so no red meat and no burgers or fries), but I got tired of chicken and rice and vegetables all the time. It gets monotonous. But I will admit that I'm enjoying sushi more and more. This place got high marks on here, and I could see why. It's a no frills place that makes and serves good food. That seems to be the ideal for me these days. The crunchy shrimp roll was tasty. The rainbow roll wasn't quite the same quality, but was still made well. I appreciated the complimentary miso soup. I don't usually go for miso soup but it proved a good palate cleanser. I even liked that there was a lunch special menu and the rolls came at a discounted price. All in all, a good meal. I would've taken the complimentary ice cream too but I have to watch my sugar levels so no dice. read more

This is a little hole on the wall, but so so good. The fish was so incredibly fresh and yummy. We ordered 4 items and every single thing was good. I highly recommend the spicy sashimi salad, the portion of fresh fish is huge and lots of fresh avocado. *The only thing they need to do is mop better. We came in at 4:15, so I doubt anyone ate before us, there was soda spilled all over the floor under our table and we walked out with shoes so sticky we were afraid to get in our clean car, so we both went in the restroom to try and get water on the bottom of our shoes. Otherwise this place would be a 5!!! read more

Every once in a while a place impresses me enough to write a review. This place far exceeded my expectations. Do not judge this book by its cover. I'm picky when it comes to sushi and not only was all the fish top notch (fresh), but the presentation was awesome and what topped it all off was the hospitality. The staff is on their A game. They took Mother's Day photos with flowers they provided and even give you ice cream on the house. After a weekend at Murrieta Hot Springs, this place was icing on the cake. Can't wait to come back! Well done Sushi Plus One, keep up the great work! You Rock! read more

Small place in a small plaza checked out reviews and I'm always up for some fresh fish being from Hawaii I am looking for good seafood to cure my cravings for home Had good ratings so I wanted to try myself. First impression small but cute not.fancy at all. Kinda of a very clean hole in the wall. Service, though, was so friendly and good. The food was really good. I enjoyed the aqua fresh the most. If u want a quick lunch and not some fancy thing, come here, get a saki and good service, some good fish with friendly staff, and a clean atmosphere. It's still pricey cause you know fish. 3 rolls, 2 drinks, and a tofu under a 100 with tip. Try them read more

Definitely my go to. The freshest fattest Toro I've had in the area! Sushi Plus One doesn't miss ever and everything has been flavorful and fresh. Love their hand rolls and sashimi. They are not stingy at all with portions either. It is worth noting that they are down the street from a similarly named "One Sushi" so be careful if placing an online order you're going to the right one. read more

LOVELY SERVICE AND TASTY, BUTTERY FISH. I've came here twice within a 1 week span lol and ordered the same two rolls and different sushi. They have specials on certain fish and a good variety of starters. I was told they have sake nights on Wednesday's where sake is $1!!!!!! Definitely gotta come to experience that. Glad i gave this place a try. It is pretty small in the restaurant itself so be mindful of big parties! read more

I assume they took over Chill Fish, which I have never been to, but we came in for lunch here for the first time. Food was beautifully presented, service from Susie was outstanding and everything tasted fresh and amazing. We received complimentary miso soup at the start and ended our meal with a complimentary ice cream cone. Would definitely be back and highly recommend to all! read more

The food is fresh and very well prepared. Beautiful sushi dishes that look as good as they taste and taste as good as they look! Ha! We also had the garlic edamame which was a little sweet, something I'm not used to but it was good. The servers and the sushi chefs are attentive and kind. A party of two was sitting at a table clearly for two with no extra room. The table next to them vacated, and the server asked the party of two if they would like them to move over a table so they can stretch. Bravo! read more

Okay guys, I'm so hard on new sushi places but this one was a 10/10 for me. Clean restaurant. Love the updated floors, furniture and wall photos. Server was sweet and polite. Nice and quiet. I noticed a lot of Togo orders happening while there. The sushi itself was so fresh and delicious. By far my favorite spicy tuna roll. And that's always my go to roll at every place. The shrimp tempura was sooooooo big and juicy and crunchy. A delight in the mouth. Didn't even need the dipping sauce. The toro roll was stunning. Melted like butter in the mouth. First time here and it was a good experience. We had a sampling of appetizers and hand rolls and I'm always looking for some good sushi. Overall the food and service were very good. I'll admit I've had better sushi but it was decent quality of fish. We also had the house fried rice and it was good as well. Would I come back? Yes but not specifically for the sushi. The rest of the Japanese menu was good but I'd probably go elsewhere if I'm looking for nigiri type sushi. read more

Top-notch sushi spot in Murrieta! The fish was incredibly fresh, with generous portion sizes--better quality than anything I've found even in greater San Diego. I don't eat sushi so I get the other entrees which are good. And I like that they have other options. My husband likes sushi and says this is the best sushi he's had around here.
