Japanese fusion with a twist, sushi, sashimi and I loved the jalapeño appetizer. It was so good, fresh, the presentation was great. I WOULD go back and I will the next time we visit this great little city. Elena was great.

This place is fresh and great quality! Their regular sushi rolls are delicious (splash of lemon always makes it better too). For an appetizer I recommend the baked green mussels ! I didn't take a picture of them because I was too excited and ate them before I could remember . If you are not in the mood for sushi their short rib bowl is amazing !

DELICIOUS!!! Just moved to the area and instantly feel in love with this place. Food is great, services is above average for sure, and very affordable.

I saw that it was a 3 1/2 star however this might just be the stars aligning .... to be fair on MY experience. It was between lunch and dinner, and not really busy at all. Maybe 4 tables seated and eating when I walked in. I sat at the sushi bar and ordered there. Just a water to drink and got my normal go to roll. Spicy Tuna. I also ordered the Magic Mikes as I want to see what can do with their house recipes. Ok, the waitress filled my water three time. 000000 complaints on service. She was on top of busing the table and drinks. My rolls came out in a decent amount of time. The rice was very good... sticky enough to hold the roll together and a soft mild flavor. The magic mikes presentation was excellent. Looks like a work of art. This thing is spicy!!! I could feel a little crunch as I was chewing down on the roll. The sliver of citrus gave it a nice finish and there was plenty of fish in the roll to justify the upper end price. The spicy tuna at 6$ is not a bad price for that roll in this town either. All and all my service was great, the speed of service was great and the food was really good. Please understand this was at a real dead time of day. I can see why there was a lot of negative comments during the busy times... but my personal experience was dead on delicious and enjoyable. I will take my wife here and maybe we can give a review during a more packed time.

Walked in last Friday around 5:30pm without a reservation. The hostess took our info and politely asked us to wait outside or in the car because It would be about 45 - 1 hour wait. After 45 min or so, they called and sat us right away. We were quickly greeted by a young kid (sorry can't remember the name) Really outgoing young guy suggested some drinks. The service was top notch and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back but more prepared for a dinner rush because we were starving after the wait!!

This place was awesome! My husband and I were getting his car worked on and needed to kill 90 minutes. When we arrived our server Matthew was extremely welcoming and fun! He took amazing care of us! I don't know how much he gets paid hourly but the man deserves a raise! Best server! Ask for him! I know I will. I didn't catch the sushi chefs name but he was wonderful and welcoming as well! The food was amazing too! The baked mussels are to die for. Oyster shooter was great! And the sin city roll was perfect! What a wonderful experience! 5 stars!

Came here on a Sunday to Old Town Temecula. Due to COVID19, we had to sit outside. The staff displayed good service. The sushi was of good quality, nice size and the price was reasonable. The magic mike roll was good but I think over priced at $16 or $17. The other rolls I purchased were good overall. I would come back and would recommend for people to try this spot.

I have been to Tabu Sushi a number of times now. I had a late lunch here 2 days ago and it was great! I enjoyed the bento box with beef and broccoli. The beef was incredibly delicious and oh so flavorful. The sauce was absolutely perfectly balanced - best I have had to date. The box comes with choice of soup ( I got Miso) and salad with very good ginger dressing. Within the box there is also tempura shrimp and veggies, steamed rice and 4 California rolls. Topping everything off was our server, Ashley, who was amazing! She was extremely engaging and took great care of us. She really made it a fun late lunch. Wonderful customer service - Thanks Ashley!! I can't wait to try other items of off their expansive list.

I came to this sushi place based on yelp and Groupon recommendations. The place can be pricy but so others sushi places. So they have a lot of different Dishes. They also have specials throughout the week and also others during happy hours. So I had the veggie yakisoba which was a lot of food and very tasty. Ordered two sushi plates and GTS edamame which was really good. While my cousin and I were tryin to see what to order, they have the salmon skin and I was wondering what that was and the chef heard so he told us he would make us a sample to try it. I thought that was very sweet of him. It was a lot of food, very filling and tasty. I highly recommend them. The service is outstanding and fast. I went back again to get their GTS edamame again because it was too good. It's a must try. It's garlic teryaki and spicy

Very nice servers and sushi chefs here. Atmosphere is calm and open. The bar is very impressive and well stocked with many different types of Sake. The menu has the classic rolls such as the California roll, Philly roll, Salmon skin, and Tuna, but also several special rolls. They also have vegetarian dishes and wonderful flavored lemonades.

Creamy lobster appetizer $10 and worth it.

I'm basing this review on one dish that is so amazing I had to yelp about it. Just stopping by Temecula from Pasadena en route to San Diego. Decided to go for a lite snack. I chose the creamy lobster appetizer. Wow! Slightly crunchy with the sweet creamy lobster steaming inside. Light sauce over it. The deep fried lobster is not greasy at all. I assume everything else here is fresh and scrumptous. Even if you plan on dining elsewhere I suggest you at least stop by for the creamy lobster appetizer. Kaylee was my super nice server and offered up great winery suggestions and places to see in Temecula. This place is at the far end of the strip.

GTS edamame was bomb!

A sushi gem in Temecula! After a long day in LA, my family and I were searching for a sushi place for dinner on our way home to SD. I'm very picky where I take down my sushi but when you're craving sushi and it's getting late, I went with the first place that popped up closest to the direction we were driving. Tabu was quick to seat us and took our order, considering how busy they were getting on a Saturday night. The joint was very clean, had a solid bar (sushi + alcohol), and vibe was great! But more importantly, the sushi did not disappoint! We had a few rolls (especially the lemon cilantro roll!), and GTS edamame - to die for! For a Saturday night, they also had a decent amount of specials in their menu! I've been to a few sushi spots in Temecula, but Tabu is by far my favorite!

We got two bowls, egg rolls, crab rangoons and a Vietnamese coffee and thought everything was very affordable and tasty! I was worried the red curry might be too spicy and the girls working even let me taste it before ordering. Everything was very flavorful. I have to say a big standout point for me was that I came in carrying my baby while my husband had our toddler napping in the car, and the girls working insisted on helping me carry my order to my car, something you don't encounter very often anymore. This is definitely going to be a regular spot for us in the future.

I really like the fact that you get served in to go containers. Makes it so much easier to just ask for a lid and take your food home if you can't finish. They do give you a lot of food so I think that's a definite plus for this restaurant. I do wish they had a soda machine with The ability to refill. However, you can buy cans of soda and I'm sure they have ice and a cup if you request it. I like the fact that you can build your own meal if you don't want the pre-selected ones. Each time I come back I am trying something new. The only problem I have ever had is that the chicken meat was breast meat and a little dry but I haven't tried it since so I'm not sure if it has changed. The pictures probably tell it all and we will be back again and again. I hope the best of success for what seems to be a small, family-owned business.

My Daughter suggested Chef K due to their 4+ star rating, even though she had never eaten there before. Hidden in an outdoor mall it just looks like a glass front suite, but enter the doors and the interior is beautiful and clean with comfy upholstered booths and chairs. The young server greeted us with a strong Asian accent and took us to our seats immediately. We were the only customers in the room which made me a little nervous, but is was 2pm on a Thursday after all. We were presented with a hardbound colorful book of their offerings... pretty cool. We ordered and were quickly presented with: Spicy Pepper Beef: A medium spice level with a savory dark soy sauce, bathing ultra tender beef slices, married with thin sliced jalapeño and diced red and green bell peppers. Unbelievably delicious. Walnut Honey Shrimp: Mega large butterflied prawns quickly fried with walnuts and sweet glaze, crispy and crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Tangerine Chicken: Large delicate and tender chicken breast pieces deep fried in a fluffy batter and glazed with a perfectly sweet and tart tangerine sauce. Our meal came with individual bowls of perfectly cooked jasmine rice. Enough food to feed 3 hungry adults and still have leftovers. $63 Why 5 stars? Without a doubt, the best, cleanest tasting Chinese dishes I have ever experienced. More to come from this place I'm sure. If you are anywhere near Temecula, get off the freeway and reward yourself.

It was a little hard to find the restaurant, especially since the sign is not right over the entrance, but just next to it where the small market is. Look for the Winchester Center sign next to the market. Since we arrived before it opened on a Sunday, we browsed in the market until it was tine to eat. We had a reservation for 6 of us, so they seated us at the one round table near the front. There is another longer table next to it on the left side where there's a colorful mural. The rest of the tables are booths. The restaurant is spacious and roomy and very clean. You can order items from the menu or build your own hot pot which is AYCE. Everyone in our party chose the hot pot. We were each brought a small blue pot that contained the sterno to heat up the soup and the broth of our choice inside. We also placed our meat order with our server. We went to the back-left corner to grab our veggies, and some other things to add to our hot pot. Our server came by often to take more meat orders, clear empty plates, and check if we needed more broth or if our sterno needed more fuel. Our server was delightfully cheerful and friendly. She was helpful and answered all of our questions, especially when we had to choose our broths. (Forgive me for forgetting your name!) I highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation if you have a larger party. Accessibility notes: most of the tables are padded booths. If you can transfer and slide, you should be okay. Otherwise, see if you can sit at a table that has chairs on the left side. The restaurant is spacious enough to park your mobility aid (or stroller for babies) near you. The restrooms are located in the back-left corner, 2 single stall restrooms, one for men and one for women. There is enough room for someone to enter with their mobility aid and a helper companion. You can enter the restaurant without climbing a step, but I don't recall where the handicap accessible parking was since we used a regular parking space and I climbed up the curb. No one from the family is local, but my brother-in-law chose this restaurant because it's somewhere where we can meet in the middle. We all loved it, and are adding it to our rotation when we need to come together for a celebration.

Noodle consistency is great with their Blaze or Classic ramen options, as the broth tends to be a little thicker and creamier than the Shoyu option. If you're not in the mood for noodles, they also offer regular or large rice bowls, which come with amazing flavor profiles all on their own. At a glance, the 'regular' size option might seem like an insignificant portion, but rest assured it comes ready to satisfy the types of diners who'd prefer to taste a little of everything. My only critique would be on the sushi selection. It didn't taste so fresh, but then again this place is obviously not named Silverlake Sushi, so I'll rest my case on that note. I stand firmly behind ramen being the craft that Silverlake takes time to perfect, both in the intricate taste and in visual detail.
