I recently dined at Tori Sushi, I would always see it since it's nearby the gym I always go to. From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us and had us seated. The ambiance was inviting and set the perfect mood for a sushi night, they played good music. The highlight of our meal was the Toro on Fire. It was so delicious that we ended up ordering it twice! The combination of flavors and freshness was unlike anything from what I have expected of Temecula, almost comparable to the sushi in Japan. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste. The Toro was definitely melt in your mouth!! They really took their time on the rolls I will say that but it was worth the wait since they were really good. I will say, when we entered it first wasn't that busy but people slowly started trickling in and the servers took quite a while to attend to us when we asked for a refill of our water. Wow, just wow! This has now become my favorite sushi joint in Murrieta :) Me and my lady were greeted with such kindness and smiles as we entered the simplistic yet cozy restaurant. I had a Combination Bento Box with Chicken Katsu, Veggie Tempura, and a California Roll. Everything was spectacular especially the California Roll - this is the only sushi joint I've been to in where they make their California Rolls so well (and thick - that's not common in my experiences). Their rolls are delicious ranging from their Golden Tigher Roll and a complimentary Spider Roll which was just outstanding! The next time I come here I will try the ramen... because so far this sushi joint has now become my go to :) read more

I didn't have the ramen but my family commented the broth wasn't very good. They said it was really light and tasteless especially for a tonkatsu broth. I feel that the takoyaki is reheated frozen. First time coming here and glad we did. We received a couple in the mail and thought to check it out. We had such quick service. Very kind and efficient. The food was amazing. So fresh and very generous might I add. Beautifully plated and amazing colors. Best part was that it all came out @ a steady pace. I liked that. I can finish one thing first before getting bombarded with plates. The ambiance was nice, not too loud and not too quiet. They gave several tvs with something different on each of them that made it extra cozy (for some reason) I really enjoyed having dinner here with my family and looking forward to coming back again. My family stopped by Toro Sushi to celebrate my mom's birthday since we saw some good reviews and wanted to try a new sushi spot. When we first entered, we were warmly greeted and seated quickly. Our server got our menus and was quick to get us drinks while we waited. We noticed that the restaurant was very clean and well-decorated with warm lighting. The atmosphere was very nice and not too loud, which we were fans of. Our orders came in quickly in rounds, and the sushi tasted very fresh and creamy. They were all pretty well-portioned and sized. We really enjoyed all the plates we ordered (I wish I remembered all their names), and the quality of the fish was great. Amazing sushi as a San Diego native who moved out here I give it 2 thumbs up. It reminds me of home I love the yellow tail nigiri and the toro nigiri. My roll was the sexy salmon roll 10/10 for that. My kids loved their teriyaki beef it was tender and they shared one bowl. The tonkatsu ramen was bland needs more fat and salt but the noddles and grilled pork were spot on in it. It was so delicious we got a hot green tea the brand of this tea is so good tasting we had to take the tea bag top to see if we can find it, a Shirley temple, baked mussels, adedashi tofu which was sooo good and perfect, 3 rolls but my favorite roll was OMG!! The fish was so fresh in every sushi roll and not too saturated with sauce like most sushi restaurants do. Also the cuts of fish were generous and this place was reasonably priced for 3 sushi rolls, 2 app, and 2 drinks under a 100!! I love this place. I might have found my new spot. First time trying this place. Place a to go order. Got the Jessica roll, omg, Philly crunch and Las Vegas. I think I would pass on the Philly crunch roll and Las Vegas just because they were tempura. Probably best to have it there. The OMG and Jessica rolls were very tasty and fresh. I would order them again. I ordered to go but it was a little difficult on the website as no rolls had descriptions/details of what was inside the rolls. I was only able to get a few details from the other yelp reviews.
