The person helping me offered to speak with the manager to see if they could order it for me. A few days later I spoke with the manager, and showed him an image of what I was looking for. He indicated he would contact his distributors to see if they carried it. A day or so later he texted me to let me know that none of his THREE distributors carried that beverage. (As i said, it is rare in the US). I thanked him for going above & beyond. This store is worth visiting to see all the inventory they DO carry. My son loves this place. He is a big fan of the original style of Newcastle beer. After the US brewers changed the recipe, the only place he could find what he wanted was Marrietta Liquor.

If you want to pull into the Columbia St. entrance and you turned onto Columbia from Florida Ave, you'll have to cross double yellows unless you make a U-Turn further down Columbia. If you use the Florida Ave. entrance, the parking spots are angled correctly but the traffic leaving the lot is not and turning around there sucks. Aside from that, which causes me a nominal amount of stress every time I go there, I can always find what I'm looking for, the staff are ALWAYS friendly and helpful, the prices are very good compared to other liquor stores and the late hours are super convenient. Maybe someday the parking will get better but even if it got worse, I wouldn't think twice about going somewhere else.
