The final straw was my father-in-law saying, "I'll just eat my burger, I'm starving." The manager brought it out already boxed and bagged. He had specifically requested no lettuce. When he mentioned it, she confidently replied, "Sir, that burger doesn't even come with lettuce." We opened the bun. Full lettuce. The expression on her face said it all. No accountability, poor service, cold food, and a completely disappointing Mother's Day experience. Needless to say, we won't be back.

He gave me a tour of the entire grounds, which are expansive and very beautiful. Giovanni was very knowledgeable about the property and business and gave good tips about how to order food and buy wine there. He was funny and was a highlight of the whole experience. The wine list has several Italian reds which I love and I thoroughly enjoyed the Pimativo. The menu has many items to choose from that will satisfy most people's tastes. I ordered a pizza which came quickly and was hot and very delicious. The service was attentive. I would highly recommend this winery.

When they get busy, the line gets long because it's not the standard winery tasting experience. This is the place to go to for the ambience. To be clear, I enjoy all their wines, but there are better wineries in Temecula for wine. Not any better for nature, though. As soon as I walked inside, the host Dakota was super cordial and got me seated at their outdoor patio beneath sun shades, next to the vineyard and I had a perfect unobstructed view of the jazz performer on stage. After seating, I ordered a glass of their signature Cabernet Sauvignon and the Fromagé plate, which was presented shortly afterwards. The fromagé plate had a variety of cheeses, seedless red grapes, dried apricots, fig preserve spread and additionally a plate of bread... perfect for sharing or not.
