This place is super surprising. Finding ourselves with some time to kill before going to a wedding, we managed to locate this wine shop selling spirits along the road side and made a quick pit stop. The shop is not big but it certainly boasts an impressive collection as far as whiskey, scotch and bourbons go. The staff seemed to know their stuff, and while the pappy's of the world were still expensive, I was just surprised they had it. Great service, good selection of beer. We visited Temecula Wine & Spirits to pick up some Southern California beers for our son who lives in Oregon. He provided us with a list and the experts at Temecula Wine & Spirits did the rest. It was like having our own personal shopper. We were educated as we went through the store to fulfill the order. We were also presented with some suggested beers that we purchased in which impressed our son when he received them. The five stars are awarded for service. I know much more about wine than I do about beer. It is nice to have someone come from behind the counter and spend time helping you get what you need. My impression is, this is the spot. So one of my boys was telling me about this spot so I couldn't wait to check it out. They have a great selection of craft beers which is why he told me about this place. The prices are pretty good which I like but they don't have a lot of beers that you can't find at Total Wine and More. For a liquor store this is a cool little spot and they have some good chips. read more

For a "wine and spirits" shop I don't consider this establishment too notch. I've seen more choices of drinks at most every liquor store, convenience store, or grocery store. I used to stop here when coming into town, but the last few times I've been disappointed to find they don't sell any different than a grocery store. My family likes different types of beers and we always like to try something new. I've stopped here to find a new beer (that's not hard to find) and somewhat popular only to find out they don't carry it. Either way I don't waste my time here anymore. They seem to be a bit on the pricier side also. A few weeks ago was the last time and I won't be returning. Wish you the best, but you may want to carry some other things that set you apart or be the reason people want to stop by your shop because you sell unique products. read more

I prefer to support local small businesses when ever I can. I enjoy doing that more when the independent liquor store carries BETTER beer selection than some lame 7-11. Just went in for some Deschutes Black Porter and a Trade Winds from The Bruery. Trust me, Wal-Mart does not carry it. Your average liquor store. There wasn't anything that put this place above any other liquor store in the area. I walked in and was the only customer. I wasn't greeted or acknowledged by the employee talking on his cell phone standing behind the counter. I browsed around to see what they had. An average selection of common beer, wine, and spirits. They have a few popular local wines, but not many. Several bottles were covered in dust - makes me wonder how long they had been sitting there. The prices were not competitive with the big box retailers - which I would expect from a small retail store. I suppose if you need some last minute alcohol and other stores in the area are closed, this would be your place. read more

I was on a scavenger hunt to create a dirty thirty kit for a birthday. Went here on a whim and they ended up have everything you can think of in that small store. They carried tons of mini bottles of all alcohol and also craft beers and wines and you name it. The staff was very cool and both time I went there they didn't even card me even though I am 32 years old. I guess I look my age. This whole price gouging hand sanitizer is absolute crap. First, Uhhh look online for that same size bottle lately? Price gouging is the same exact bottle online for 19.99!! Before tax and shipping!! Have you been able to find any in Temecula? Do you know how far and how much they had to spend to get those bottles? Apparently you think $5.99 for the only hand sanitizer available in a small town is too much. They also have no limit for customers so they can buy as much as they want for friends and family who cant make it there. Seriously what you think they got these for $1 or even $2??? Hottest item in the world is hand sanitizer. They aren't travel size from Walmart (WHICH HAS NONE)!. They're 120mL 70% alcohol. They could charge $9.99 and they would still be cheaper than most the internet. Maybe be grateful that they are selling an item in your town (OF MAINLY OLDER PEOPLE) that will help keep this virus from spreading as easily. Would it be better if all those bottles of hand sanitizer were not being used by people who live in Temecula? Also the staff gives out free pumps of hand sanitizer to every customer who requests. They also let you wash your hands in their bathroom if you want. Maybe ask the staff about the price instead of go on yelp with a terrible review!
