Came here because of the recommended reviews but didn't feel like it lived up to the hype. Imo, it wasn't that great, but rather just ok. What stood out negatively was the portion size, the tempura shrimp option only comes with 3 pieces. Didn't think that was the accurate ratio since there isn't any other protein in this ramen. I would like to give them another chance and definitely try a different ramen option and possibly some sushi rolls.

Although i only gave it 4 stars, this is the only sushi place we go to in Temecula. Spoiled by san diego selection, it's hard to find one worth returning to. Both my wife and I love Japanese, but neither of us are big "raw fish" fans and i know that is what most people rate their sushi on...I love sushi, but don't like either surimi or raw fish. I like eel, avocado, salmon skin, or cooked fish, but love all the other japanese dishes. This place gets 5 STARS for their salmon skin rolls. The best i have had anywhere and at very reasonable prices. I think its $6 on lunch special and $7 regular price. They are always crunchy and they come with teriyaki sauce (but you can order without if you don't like the teriyaki). We usually get Katsu curry, their udon, and salmon skin. I would give it 4.5 stars, but yelp only allows 4 or 5 not 4.5...i think that is a mistake by yelp...Anyway, it is the only sushi place i go to in temecula. The other places are overpriced in my opinion...especially since you can get great salmon skin rolls here for only $6. Their sapporo is also a buck or 2 cheaper than anywhere else...

Soho Ramen House is a small, family-run spot with a homey feel that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The space is clean, cozy, and welcoming, and you can tell there's real care behind everything they do. The rice bowl (Gyudon) is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced like comfort in a bowl. What truly sets this place apart is the friendly, attentive staff. Everyone greets you with a smile, checks in with genuine warmth, and makes you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. It's clear this isn't just a business. It is clearly a labor of love.

I've been coming here for years and they never cease to disappoint. From their great fair prices, amazing portions, delicious food, and amazing service. They greet you and are beyond attentive throughout your meal. They have fun decor and a beautiful patio outside as well.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this spot. For a rainy day I had my heart set on ramen and decided to give this spot a try when we happened to be driving by. They had plenty of seating so we only waiting a couple minutes while a table was cleaned. They had a great selection of ramen, sushi, and some hibachi options. The ramen came out so fast I was in shock. It was hot and so full of flavor. Sushi took a while to get but it was fresh and they were definitely busy. Staff was all so kind and checked on us to make sure we got everything needed while we waited for our roll. I definitely will be back and am excited to try different offerings from their menu next time.

When I walked in, there was a full array of smiling faces and a positive vibe. They sat down and their menu was overwhelming (in a good way) with all the options of food. I really didn't know what to get so I just asked the waitress that was very nice and knew what she was doing. I ended up getting the spicy miso ramen which was not disappointing.

I placed an order through a delivery service while visiting the area for a work trip. After a very long day of work this bowl of warm goodness was exactly what I needed. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen with an extra egg and an extra side of broth and I'm so glad I did. The portion was perfect for me because I was able to enjoy a full dinner that evening and then a full other meal the following evening with the additional side of broth. The broth was so rich, creamy and flavorful! I always say that ramen is only as good as the broth and this broth was top notch! My only complaint at all is that I would've loved a bit more of the black mushrooms and the seasoned egg was a slightly over cooked in my opinion, but that could've been due to the travel time from ordering delivery. If I am ever in the area again for work or travel I will 100% be revisiting this place and hope to even go in person. Excellent ramen!!

Came here to try the ramen and it was ok. The sushi was meh. The seats were torn up so it defiantly could use a remodel. The staff was nice and the music was good. I'm giving them a 3 because the tempura was very good.

I can't win in Temecula. This was officially by far one of the worst experiences that I've ever had while living in Temecula. Nothing at this place had any flavor whatsoever. Lacking salt completely. At some point I had forgotten that this was a Japanese restaurant, and treated it as just some place that served really odd food. I've been to Japan 5 times in the last decade, and the sushi/sashimi that is served at this establishment is pretty much pure garbage. Its taste is extremely watered down. Japanese people would be appalled that this location is actually claiming to serve authentic Japan cuisine. And that so called ramen. Yikes. Have they ever heard of Ichiran Ramen in Tokyo. Americans really think they can compete with that excellence. Never going to happen. Not in my book. Everything also was extremely cold. After just a few bites we were finished. It must have been noticeable, because the servers were immediately looking at our unfinished dishes as if we needed a to-go box. I would never recommend visiting this location. Pretty gross. Sorry but facts. All stars deducted.

Came here to try with a friend, got sat quickly and the server was very nice and patient with us. The food itself was very nice and big to share with. Had to ask for more napkins and plates.

Ramen place is yummy!! One of the few good ones in Temecula! Girlfriend loves the kimchi fries and I like the pork belly and gyudon bowl. Servers are ALWAYS sweet and attentive!

Noodle consistency is great with their Blaze or Classic ramen options, as the broth tends to be a little thicker and creamier than the Shoyu option. Their appetizer selection is also pretty diner friendly and sure to include a little something for everyone. If you're not in the mood for noodles, they also offer regular or large rice bowls, which come with amazing flavor profiles all on their own. At a glance, the 'regular' size option might seem like an insignificant portion, but rest assured it comes ready to satisfy the types of diners who'd prefer to taste a little of everything. My only critique would be on the sushi selection. It didn't taste so fresh, but then again this place is obviously not named Silverlake Sushi, so I'll rest my case on that note. I stand firmly behind ramen being the craft that Silverlake takes time to perfect, both in the intricate taste and in visual detail. Highly recommend if you're craving noodles and don't want to drive out of town to get them!

Perfect for anniversary dinner:…read more Omakase sushi is one of the most refined and memorable dining experiences you can have, especially if you appreciate attention to detail, freshness, and craftsmanship. From the moment you sit down, there's a clear sense that this is not just a meal--it's a curated journey guided entirely by the chef's expertise and intuition. What makes omakase stand out is the trust you place in the chef. Instead of choosing dishes yourself, you allow the chef to present a sequence of sushi that highlights the best ingredients available that day. This often results in a progression that feels intentional and balanced, starting with lighter, more delicate flavors and gradually moving toward richer, more complex pieces. Each bite is thoughtfully designed to showcase the natural qualities of the fish, the texture of the rice, and the subtle interplay of seasoning. The freshness of the ingredients is immediately noticeable. High-quality omakase typically features fish flown in from top markets, and you can taste the difference. The fish is clean, tender, and often melts in your mouth. The rice, which is just as important as the fish, is seasoned perfectly--slightly warm, lightly vinegared, and shaped with precision so it holds together without being dense. Another standout aspect is the craftsmanship. Watching the chef prepare each piece right in front of you adds a level of appreciation you don't get with standard dining. Every movement is deliberate, from slicing the fish to forming the rice to brushing on just the right amount of soy or adding a touch of wasabi. It becomes clear that years of training and discipline go into even the simplest-looking piece of sushi. Omakase also introduces you to varieties of fish and preparations you might never order on your own. This expands your palate and helps you discover new favorites. Seasonal ingredients often play a role, which keeps the experience dynamic and unique each time you go. Service is typically intimate and attentive, especially if you're seated at the counter. The chef may explain each piece, offer guidance on how to eat it, or adjust the pacing based on your preferences. This interaction adds a personal element that enhances the overall experience. While omakase can be more expensive than regular sushi, the value lies in the quality, skill, and overall experience. It's not just about eating--it's about enjoying a carefully orchestrated meal that reflects both tradition and creativity. Overall, omakase sushi delivers a level of quality and thoughtfulness that's hard to match. If you're looking for a dining experience that combines artistry, flavor, and a sense of occasion, omakase is absolutely worth it.

Having just moved here from a beach community, I was spoiled by a superb sushi restaurant in San Clemente. Though, my boyfriend loves this place for the all you can eat sushi, but he orders his same thing every time (Mexican roll), and the White House (a heavy cream baked fish) I always order something along the lines of a Rainbow Roll or a Superman Burrito (ahi hand-roll , which I don't think they had), I lean towards fresh ahi tuna, salmon and yellowtail selections. First off, my sake was lukewarm, whereas, I like hot sake. They did reheat it, so it improved it. They had an odd selection of alcoholic drinks: screwdriver, jack and coke, and Long Island iced tea, type of cocktails. Strange, but ok, whatever is a crowd pleaser. The fish to me didn't taste very fresh and seemed more chewy, especially the shrimp. I tried the White House, which tasted fine, but it was so heavy with thick cream sauce. Overall, I guess, it just didn't measure up to the quality that I am used to, comparatively. The vinyl booths were outdated, and dishes made me feel like I was in a cafeteria, white and light plastic. This change would probably elevate the experience and, possibly, even make the food present and taste better. However, maybe this is the theme that they are going for. Though all of those things should be improved upon, I do have to say that the staff was very attentive and kind. I know that a lot of people love this place for their reasons, and my best experience there was them. The last comment I will add is that, when it comes to celebrating a birthday, the celebratory music that is played, is just too loud. A small adjustment in volume would be efficient enough to make someone's day a better one. Maybe, in a few months, I'll try the establishment out again and see how they're doing. Sometimes, just by drawing a fine line on what type of experience you want customer's to have, can make all the difference. Sometimes, less is more. Just don't lose the staff, great customer service does really count.
