Nice spot! We stopped here as part of the Grapeline wine tour and thought it was great. Ben was working with all of us and he was really nice and funny! We were here on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. They have a pretty spacious inside with a sort of shop as well for other non-wine items. Their cute thing is that they use poker chips to turn in for your wine tastings. We also got a little marinera sauce with some dippers while we were tasting. There was at least 1 or 2 wines that we really liked, but it was our 3rd stop and we had to travel home with 2 other bottles of wine, so we ended up leaving with a bottle of the marinera sauce because it was that good. We had a wonderful time tasting everything, didn't feel rushed and Ben was really knowledgeable with any questions that we had. This was a great experience and a place that I would get both wine and snacks from. read more

Beautiful views terrible customer service. Absolutely terrible. We arrived there to sit down and eat and thr hostess had an attitude of you're "bothering me". She said you can choose a table with an umbrella and I'll follow you or if you want shade choose the bar. When we asked the hostess for clarification on what constitutes the "bar" she still didn't clarify. We find a table with an umbrella and she didnt acknowledge us once. No menu , no service....nada! I after some time of waiting I got up and left because I'm not giving my money to get treated so horribly. So sad because the place is beautiful. We ended up going to Frazeli's. Temecula: Lovely, peaceful winery with easy level parking, beautiful architecture and friendly staff. Five of us converged on this winery around 4pm to get there well before it closed at 6pm. Ample time for tasting and food on a Thursday. After a delightful tasting of reds, I ordered a glass of great Tempranillo followed by a fabulous Zinfandel with dinner. Others ordered the Pinot Grigio, and we were all very happy with our choices. The food service was similar to some other wineries where you order at the cashier inside and they bring you the food. The Roman Artichokes were fresh and inviting. The pepperoni and sausage pizza was absolutely delicious! Loved it. Crusty, bubbly and the pepperoni & sausage had authentic Italian flavor. Not too thick not too thin just right. Julie's Favorite - a Margherita pizza with fresh tomato and fresh basil- was lacking & flat in flavor, perked it up with the parmesan and red pepper flakes. Cobb Salad was salad art and more than enough for two people. Polpette e marinara meatballs. Order it. Served warm in a little croc to hold in the warmth. Long review, we weren't there for a long time but we were there for a good time. It's a bit off the main Rancho California Road, but a lovely drive. Plug for Somerset winery which was just next-door had live music-so it's an easy way to hit two wineries with minimal driving. Or Ubering. Salute! read more

Our visit started off fine, but it ended on a very disappointing note. When it was time to leave, we tried to request an Uber but were having trouble because of Wi-Fi issues. We asked the staff (Erin and the manager) if they could help us, but instead of showing any concern or offering assistance, we felt brushed off. A simple gesture, like helping us connect to Wi-Fi or suggesting another solution, would have made a big difference. Hospitality doesn't end when the wine tasting is over. Unfortunately, this experience left a negative impression, and we won't be returning. There are many other wineries in Temecula that provide much better customer service. read more

I recently experienced the Grandioso Tour at Robert Renzoni, and it truly lived up to its name. This is absolutely a premium VIP experience! I've been a wine club member for about a year, but this tour gave me a whole new appreciation for the beauty, history, and craftsmanship behind this gorgeous winery. We were welcomed by our wine consultant, Laura, who greeted us with a glass of Prosecco before leading us on a guided walk through the vineyards and a behind-the-scenes tour of the winemaking facility. One of the highlights was having the opportunity to meet the winemaker, Olivia, a wonderful surprise that made the experience even more memorable. After the walking tour, we enjoyed a seated tasting in the private Buffalo Room. Laura expertly guided us through each wine, sharing educational insights along with thoughtfully curated food pairings. The opportunity to taste selections from the Riserva portfolio made the experience feel even more exclusive. Needless to say, there was no way we were leaving without purchasing a few of our favorites! Really enjoyed the food at Trattoria. The patio is beautiful and there is a good choice of in the sun or out of the sun tables. We ordered the Roman artichokes and the chicken club. The artichokes were super fresh, they came on a bed of arugula with some shaved Parmesan, absolutely delicious. The chicken club was not like a traditional club. My girlfriends and I had a girls trip and decided to give this place a try. We didn't want to do a whole day wine tour and just wanted to go for an hour. As moms our time is very precious. We arrived and it was pretty crowded so we took that as a good sign. We made reservations for a tasting and was able to get in right away. So the person that was helping us with our tasting wasn't the friendliest. You can tell that he was kind of checked out for the day. (We had a 4:30 PM reservation). He kind of just said here is the book and you get 5 choices. We did ask a few questions and he did answer them but just not as "involved" as other ones we have experienced in the past. The wines were good and we did end up getting a bottle at the end to enjoy on the patio. The crowd died down so it was a nice relaxing time for us. We got some pretty nice photos too so it was an overall pretty good experience. read more

This is a picturesque albeit rather small winery. We are members at Europa but decided to venture out and visit Robert Renzoni to check it out. The buildings and structures are very beautiful, and I especially liked the fountain at the entry and the large bell tower. Their hours seem quite short, as their "last call" in the tasting room was 5:30pm on a Saturday. This winery is also a bit tucked away which gives it a quiet and peaceful environment. We were able to try a couple of wines, and we really enjoyed their sparkling sweeter red wine - I wish I could remember the name of it. We did buy a bottle to take with us, and the price was quite reasonable. We did try their trattoria as well (see separate review). Overall, this is a decent winery but not sufficient to draw us away from our favorite Europa. read more

Our party of 10 unfortunately thought this winery was pretentious and the lady in the blonde hair was rude. If you're ordering three charcuterie boards make sure you get at least two plates of bread. Had a wonderful time celebrating Easter with the family! This was a great spot to have a gathering! The beautiful atmosphere and views. Soooo pretty! Love the wineries at Temecula. The whole strip is winery after winery. It can get worrisome trying to decide which winery you want to go to. Robert Renzoni Vineyards stands out in the crowd for a few reasons. First off, Robert Renzoni Vineyards is smaller than some of the other wineries. It's more intimate and doesn't feel as overwhelming, since it is less people. Another huge positive about this winery, is the prices. The prices are cheaper for winery fair! Most of the wineries are more expensive and what I call "foo-foo." Foo-foo meaning you pay a lot of money for a grape, piece of cheese, and cracker on your plate lolol Robert Renzoni Vineyards is much more reasonable with prices and you get a lot of food!!! Lastly, the portion sizes are great! I ordered a salad and it was huge- definitely a shareable. The pasta (cheese sacchetti) was not that big. However, it had great flavor and was very cheesy! The margarita pizza is a real hit! It had amazing flavor and was cheesy and delicious. The truffle curly fries were a winner too! You get the truffle flavor, but it's wasn't overpowering like truffle can be sometimes. Win! The food was so good! Prices reasonable! Views amazing! What else could you ask for? My only gripe is the parking. The parking is terrible. Be prepared to walk a mile to get to the winery. There isn't much parking close by. Not a great setup if you are wearing heels. We came here for the first time in June 2025 and met Laura for a tasting reservation. She taught us the 5 S's and took us on a journey to learn about wine, the plant, the growing process and the family owned RR winery. It felt like we knew her our whole lives. As new wine enthusiasts this was exactly the experience we were looking for. We felt welcomed as newbies! Fast forward to today, the last day of 2025 we are Robert Renzoni members (thanks to Laura) and we have our last tasting of the year with LAURA. Again, the story about how the 1886 wine was named, her describing the Zin as Christmas and it indeed tasted JUST LIKE CHRISTMAS! It's exactly what's keeps us coming back and feeling like famiglia. We will be back for the full tour next month specially requesting our favorite lady. Also, the restaurant is spectacular! Food is amazing, views are amazing and staff is incredible. read more

Robert Renzoni is a family winery located on the De Portola wine trail, and has both a tasting room and trattoria attached. Here were the ones I tried: 1 - 2024 Pinot Grigio - crisp but not too dry 2 - Moscato D' Asti - pleasantly sweet 3 - 2022 Big Fred's Red - a good table wine 4 - 2023 Concerto - so good I bought a bottle (nice jammy taste) 5 - 2022 Vecchio Frate - nice red At Mama Rosa's Trattoria, we opted for a few appetizers and a pizza to share. The food was perfect for a late afternoon, leisurely, impromptu get together: 1 - bruschetta al prosciutto 2 - eggplant parmigiana shoots 3 - Julia's favorite pizza (similar to Margherita) Next time will have to make a full weekend of it! read more

I have visited often. I just went to the restaurant the first few visits. You need to order at the cashier and the food is brought to you so don't expect table service. The bolognese and the spicy meatball pizza are terrific. The patio seating has nice views of the vineyard and often has live music. When I finally went in for a tasting I was very happy. The wines are delicious and Sabina was fun and informative. I joined and have very much enjoyed the members private area and eating the delicious food with a discount and a complimentary glass of wine. I met two of my dearest friends here and our experience was the worst service I've ever had in Temecula's wineries. When I go to a "restaurant," I assume a server will attend to us. I'm not familiar with this winery's idea of service, but when sitting and dining on food that has been purchased and served, we didn't have anyone check on us except one server whom, after bringing our pizza, I requested a couple of creamers. She was very sweet and brought some to our table, but the only other time anyone approached us was to let us know their outside "dining" closed at 6:00pm, and someone who cleared our dishes. To top off the night, I was holding a shirt in their gift store, waiting for one of the 4 ladies behind the bar to acknowledge me and ask if I needed to be rung up or needed help. After 5 minutes, I asked for assistance and the lady who rung me up was at least nice. When one of my friends asked about purchasing a bottle of Pinot, she confirmed if they were serving any other Pinots outside. The woman at the counter (an elegant older female), responded sarcastically "well, we are a winery." A simple and kind, "why yes, all our wines are from our vineyard" would have been sufficient. My friend purchased a bottle, but a tip was not left nor deserved. I hope others will never have to experience this kind of service, and I wouldn't refer to the dining experience as a "restaurant." read more

9/2/2025 We visited Robert Renzoni Vineyards on a very hot day, but the patio setup made it comfortable--plenty of shade and misters kept things cool enough to really enjoy the experience. And the views? Absolutely incredible. Sitting out there with a glass of wine feels like you're on vacation. I tried the La Rosa rose wine, which was a gorgeous pink and on the sweeter side. I really liked it--perfect for a warm afternoon. For food, we ordered the burrata and tomato appetizer, a salad, and a 1/2 muffuletta sandwich. Everything was fresh and flavorful. One thing to note, though: the salads only come in "Famiglia" (family-sized) portions. There isn't a half-portion option for one person--or even two--which felt a little limiting. Ordering is done at the bar, but service was quick, and they were kind enough to give us a "to-go" container of ice for our cooler so we could take the rest of the salad home and not let it go to waste. That extra touch really stood out. All in all, the wine, food, and unbeatable views make this a wonderful spot in Temecula. We'll definitely be back. read more

I have to go ahead and give them five stars. It was such a good visit that my boyfriend became a member. We went for the first time on a Monday afternoon right before closing. They have amazingggg reds and the guy who helped us was super friendly and really catered to exactly what we like in wines. I think his name was Bob. We came back a month or two later we came back with some friends. Membership gives 8 tastings a month. It's the best deal I've heard of so far. During the tastings you get mini breadsticks and the best marinara sauce. We took some home also. Separately this time we got to go to the restaurant. The truffle curly fries are amazingggg. The view was super nice also and there is usually live music. My favorite was the bbq chicken pizza. It comes with fresh sliced jalapeños and is probably the best I've had anywhere. I will be happily coming back for years! We usually get lucky and find parking right in the bottom lot but they have an upper lot to park in as well. Unlike other wineries I've seen they have a nice shuttle to bring you down from the upper lot if you want. read more

We cancelled our membership when the owner was seen screaming at a teenage dishwasher for supposedly parking in the wrong place. Facebook blew up with a list of former customers and even vendors sharing nightmare stories of the owner. Thinking back on it, he was signing bottles one time at the winery and a friend of mine said "oh hey cool! Will you do mine next". And the guy said "you'll have to buy way more than that to make it worth my while". Total jerk who will get no more of my money. He owns truffle pig too! read more

This winery is a bit odd with the set up. You have to walk up and order your wine and food and then find a table making it less of a dining experience and more of a food hall vibe. I was disappointed with the tasting room because the older gentleman wine tender with gray hair was a bit rude when I simply was asking for my next tasting. He acted as if he was doing me a favor pouring my tasting which was so off putting. He then poured a very small tasting. After that experience I went to Sabina and she was excellent. She is so knowledgeable and friendly and actually gave me a proper pour. Sabina definitely saved my experience but the overall vibe apart from her is lacking. I don't think I will be returning. Shame the atmosphere isn't better, because the wine is good! read more

I joined the wine club back in May and placed an order for a case. UPS broke some bottles in my shipment and now it's 7/2 and I still don't have my wine and can't get a call back from the winery. And I know for a fact the temps have been low enough to ship the wine. The customer service here is terrible once they get you to join. Meanwhile, I'm out $500 and Renzoni still has my wine. Good wine but not worth the trouble. Pick one of the other 50 in town to go to and become a member of. read more

This one was not originally on our list to go to when we were in Temecula. It was recommended by a customer who was a local when we were at the Peltzer winery. The scenery as you drive up is really pretty. It's in a very pretty building. There's a restaurant right next-door to the wine tasting room. They have a patio that you can sit outside, but to get your next sample quickly you need to stand at the bar. But that's how it is at every winery I found out pretty much. Pelzer was the only one that gave us a sheet to where we could order at the bar and then go sit at tables. Indoors. It was 112° out I swear! Anyway, I sampled the Prosecco, the big Fred's red, the Barbara, the Tempranillo, the Sonata, the Concerto, the syrah, the old vine, Zinfandel, and the Paradiso dessert wine. These were all split between me and my friend. I liked the big Freds red and the old Zinfandel the best and even bought a bottle of each one of those. I love the pasta sauce that they served with the crackers or whatever they were so much that I bought a jar of their pasta sauce too. This was the second winery we went to all week where I enjoyed majority of the samples. The only one that beat this winery was Ponte and I became a member of that one because I didn't have to do it annually and I only have to buy two bottles every other month. This wine club was a little bit more than that, or there was more to it. The lady that served us was amazing. Great customer service. She was the best her name was, Michelle! read more
