But I danced my ass off ( the strong drinks helped) and the last set was the best of the night.

We popped in a bit early and it was happy hour time. Although the happy hour menu was not really offered to us until we asked- the happy hour selection is very limited, but the specialty drink of the night was a good change up on regular offerings on happy hour. The happy hour drink was $10.00. As it was so early, just opened on a weekday, we were at the bar all by ourselves. The bar was a bit bright at this time--I think it was so bright as the employees were busy restocking. I have heard during prime time the place is more darkly lit and super busy. Despite the brightness it was fun to marvel at all the cool decors. This place has tons of decorations. Parking can be found on the street. The parking is metered. During prime-time downtown can be challenging to park. Worth a visit just to marvel at the decorations.

Luke's was honestly a letdown, especially for how much we were looking forward to it. Save your…read moretime, they were slow, and your money. First off, the place did not feel clean. The floors were noticeably messy, some might even say gross. There were random spills that clearly had not been wiped up, and even the bathrooms were bad. Should we really be able to see a plunger and a dirty toilet brush while washing our hands? Service-wise, our waitress was nice, but overall it was slow. We waited a long time for our first round of drinks, and when the food finally came out, it was not even hot, which made it even more frustrating. The food itself did not live up to the price. The "tempura" artichoke hearts were basically just heavily breaded and fried, not light or crispy like you would expect or like the menu suggests. The charcuterie board, which was over $50, was kind of shocking. It looked like a random mix of deli meats, basic cheeses, canned fruit, and filler. Nothing felt special or worth the price. It looks amazing, but do not be fooled by what you see around you. You are better off spending $25 at Trader Joe's. The ribeye was wildly underwhelming. If I wanted a steak I could buy at Food 4 Less and grill in the park, I would do it myself. The chicken somehow managed to be even worse, dry and lacking flavor. Lemon and capers, where? Overall, it felt overpriced and poorly executed. Between the cleanliness issues, the long wait, and the disappointing food, it is easy to say it is definitely not worth your time. Check out the Gambling Cowboy instead. This is a no brainer when you read the replies from the owner to any negative feedback. If an establishment feels the need to defend itself in such an unprofessional manner, that tells you everything you need to know about taking your money elsewhere. No ownership, just blame. Nobody is out here writing reviews to ruin your business, you are doing that well enough on your own. "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

We ordered a bunch to share--pizza, burgers, shishito peppers, pesto pasta, and goat cheese toast--all of which were delish. That said, there were a few downsides. At one point, the server forgot to put in my order, which was fine since we were all full, but it was a bit funny waiting for a burger that wasn't even in the system. We were excited to hear the band, but with some tech difficulties and having been there over an hour, we decided it was time to head out. Overall, it's a good place with great vibes, good food, and wonderful service. Definitely a spot I'd return to for a relaxed night out.

We still come here for brunch occasionally & taco Tuesdays when they have them (currently not happening). Seating is pretty open & outdoor patio is very nice on a warm day. The restaurant doubles as a club on weekends with a dj. They also offer events during the week at times like a sip & paint or karaoke you just need to check the website to find out what & when. Staff is super friendly & since they are known to get busy at times we have learned to be very patient when this occurs... we know that tge servers are well worth the wait! My favorite dish here is the avocado toast or the tomato addiction appetizer. During Christmas they have really tasty cocktails & decorations to make it feel festive/cozy. Downside is the restrooms: only 2 both co Ed & they often smell. So I often wait until we go somewhere else to potty.
