Our daughter brought us out for fun & drinks. She took us to the Coin Op in Temecula Ca. They have a full arcade and a full bar too! We had lots of fun, I even won a stuffed animal prize on one of the crane games. Lol We did however get sick!! Unfortunately we ended up with the flu. I loved the drinks and atmosphere. This place hits the spot!!! Pet friendly, my little dog enjoyed it. We would have had to stay it or go somewhere else if they were not pet friendly. Also it's very kid friendly! My kids love the pinball machines. Felt good beating there scores! They haven't quite got to my skill level lol. Best part is also big kid friendly!!! Some good drinks were had! It was busy when I went one week before Christmas. It was still fairly easy to get a drink at the bar. I love all the Christmas decorations through out the place. It made me and my family feel warmed and welcome! This is now my favorite places to visit now. PS I think they sell food but not sure. We left to eat else where but will try next time I'm there. read more

Another one off the bookmarks! I was in the area and saw this place was in walking distance .I came in around 5 just to check out the games . I was welcomed in . The arcade games are set up in their own area and the bar is directly across. It's an open room concept. People were sitting and enjoying the bar and food. Others were enjoying the games.I was in there around 5 so I even saw kids with their families .I saw Mortal Kombat, skeeball, a few versions of PAC Man, pin ball machines , car driving games and of course basketball. Cool spot! We walked in after a birthday dinner and enjoyed a fun and silly adult night playing old school arcade games and drinking some really good drinks! Bartenders were on point even for being busy! Aperol Spritz were on point for the side and their selection of craft beers were really good! I use to love frequenting Coin Op but after this last time, we're done. :( The games don't work and are super dirty. Don't touch the basketballs - you might get pink eye! Not sure how much money I lost just trying the to see if the games worked. The security guy was also a little hostile with everyone that spoke to him. Not everyone is out for you, sir! There was one bartender - which I'd understand if the service was slow because of that, but when there are customers waiting for a drink and you're cleaning glasses and talking to your bestie right next to me, ignoring us all for 15 minutes - peace out! read more

I had such a great time here. Music was great, the vibe was great and best of all, the drinks were great. This place was very busy as but it was such a good time. We sat outside in their patio where we got to sit and chat where it wasn't super loud. They have plenty of video games to play. Hubby and I came to Old Town for day trip. We stumbled upon Coin-Op and decided to check out the games. Well, little did we know we would be in for a treat. We decided to taste ONE hard kamobocha ...4 drinks later and some amazing carne asada fries, here I am writing a review. Janelle was our bartender and to be honest, she is one of the most memorable bar tenders I've met in quite some time. Down to earth. Easy to talk to and genuinely loves her job. We low key thought she was the owner with the dedication she gave to her job. She made us feel so important and answered all of our touristy questions. We can't wait to come back for many future visits. Oh, and if you haven't tried the KILLER BEE, please do yourself a favor and order it. Totally worth worth it! My favorite place to go to in Old Town!!! I usually go during the evenings and weekends mainly but I brought my family during the day and was amazed at how family friendly it was. The kids were entertained with the games and the staff were so quick to offer us chairs, sauces, etc. I'm used to cramped bars and mean bartenders but the staff and service here are always top tier. During the party, one of the children in our group was violently assaulted by older boys who were roaming the facility unsupervised. The injured child suffered visible facial injuries, including bleeding. While this was happening, staff response was minimal to nonexistent. The aggressors were allowed to continue playing freely, without being removed or even meaningfully addressed. What was even more upsetting was the impact this had on my 7-year-old stepson, who witnessed his friend being assaulted. This was not rough play, this was a frightening, violent incident. My stepson was visibly shaken, confused, and distressed by what he saw. This was supposed to be a joyful birthday celebration, and instead it turned into a traumatic experience that he is still processing. Law enforcement showed up and found out that other kids had become visibly assaulted as well. Multiple employees on duty, many of whom appeared very young and poorly supervised themselves were seen laughing, pointing, exchanging comments, and sharing images related to the incident, rather than helping the injured child or ensuring the safety of the kids involved. At no point did it feel like the staff took the situation seriously. The general manager on duty failed to step in decisively, failed to separate parties, and failed to prioritize the emotional and physical well-being of the children. There was no immediate first aid offered. No quiet or safe space provided. No reassurance to the injured child or the kids who witnessed the violence. The behavior of both management and staff created the clear impression that the incident was being treated as entertainment rather than an emergency. To make matters worse, parents of the aggressors were allowed to come and go freely, with one parent returning to the area where our group was standing and openly threatening members of our party again, with no visible staff or security intervention. The lack of concern for child safety was staggering. Not once did anyone ask how the injured child was doing or acknowledge the emotional impact on the other kids who witnessed the assault. Offering a small discount afterward does not begin to address the seriousness of what occurred. Until this location prioritizes active supervision, trained staff, real management accountability, and child safety, I cannot recommend bringing your children here especially for birthday parties. What should have been a happy memory became a traumatic one due entirely to staff inaction and poor leadership.

Came here for my cousin's 21st birthday party alongside my 23 year old brother. I've been to the one down in San Diego so I'm fairly familiar with the place. Everyone had their IDs checked and got in without issue until they got to my brother. The bouncer had to call over a man, who I believe was the manager of the place, and he decided that my brother's ID was fake. He held it hostage despite our insistence that it was a real California drivers license. He wouldn't even explain why he thought it was fake which made us extremely frustrated. He was just holding it without giving us an actual reason other than his personal opinion that it was fake. We even said that we would leave so long as they gave the ID back because we knew it was real and didn't want to cause further issue but they refused to give it back to us. In the commotion this, the manager started to go on a power trip, kicking out and trespassing members of our party as they were trying to question them about the reason his ID was being held. He just got to a point that he was yelling at everyone, even people who weren't saying anything. Unfortunately we had to call the cops and get them involved in order to get his ID back. They proved his ID was real (obviously) and the police had to be the ones to explain why they thought the ID was fake rather than the manager who was standing around like a dog with its tail between its legs at this point. I want to clarify that it was not the initial bouncer's fault, as he was just doing his job and was very kind to us about the whole thing. It was the "manager" (shorter white guy with short brown hair) that was going on a power trip and completely escalating the situation far more than it should've been. They did give my brother a free drink after they eventually let us into the bar, which was nice, but it was very obvious it was a move to save face with us so that we would go in and spend money. While we still did go in (angry as we were, we aren't crazy enough to turn down a free drink), the damage had already been done at that point and completely shifted the mood for the night. Reading some of the other reviews for this place, it seems like aggressive security and employees are an issue for this location... would recommend going to another bar in the area or making the trip to San Diego if you really want to go to coin-op. read more

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this bar! The bartender was incredibly friendly and made me feel so welcome. As a local resident of old town, I've been here numerous times, and this visit was by far the best. I was served promptly and efficiently. The bartender didn't waste any time and made sure everyone was taken care of. Even when he was engaged in conversations with other patrons, he always managed to multitask and attend to everyone's needs. It was refreshing to see such excellent service. What impressed me the most was the bartender's sense of humor and his ability to create a lively atmosphere. I'd like to share my unfortunate experience here at this establishment. My wife and I were having a wonderful date day in Old Town Temecula until it was spoiled by a questionable encounter. I purposely walked all the way from one end of Old Town Temecula to the other just to check this place out. We literally got there at the same time as I'm assuming the owners were arriving as they unlocked the doors to walk in. They turned and looked at me but didn't say a word. I looked up and saw the hours of operations and realized they weren't open. We then walked to the end of the business when my wife suggested we just sit at there outdoor seating. I initially second guessed but figured we weren't doing anything wrong. We were at the far end right at the gate. As we sat there a large group came and sat right in front of this business. We were just about to leave when one of the guys (owners?) walks up and says " you guys can't be here, we're closed. How did you get in here anyway? (It's open seating mind you) He tried to fix how rude he was by saying they needed to wipe down the tables. It was around 1:20pm and they opened at 2pm. The really sad thing is I didn't say a word, I'm unfortunately used to this. My wife who is Mexican and Puerto Rican has drawn a blind eye but due to recent events is starting to see this ugliness. As we walked away she said " that felt a little racist." I just smirked. In closing the group who was sitting in front was all white. I didn't see them being asked to leave. I'm African American. Make what you want of this. I myself won't ever step foot in nor spend a dime in thestablishment. Just sharing my unfortunate truth. read more

We came in to celebrate my brother in laws birthday after his release from the ICU after an accident. My daughter was with us playing games since children are allowed until 8pm. A man started hitting on her at the Zoltar machine so she told me that she felt uncomfortable. I went to the man to tell him that she was 12 and he rolled his eyes at me.
