Journey's End's interior is upscale but with a casual ambiance. The architectural details are thoughtfully planned out and enhance the aesthetic. It's a simple elegance with a modern touch. It wasn't crowded & we were seated right away. Our waiter was Anthony and we were very happy with his service. I had the traditional scrambled eggs, bacon, house potatoes with wheat toast & coffee while hubby got the Belgian waffle with eggs & bacon. My plate was huge! It was enjoyable but so filling I had to have the leftovers boxed up. Hubby enjoyed his meal as well. Coffee was surprisingly very good! We will definitely return!

My fiancé ordered the chicken parmesan, but whatever showed up on the plate was definitely not chicken parmesan. We also ordered the $30 pull-apart bread. They burned the first one and had to bring us a replacement. Ironically, that ended up being the only thing we ate that actually had any flavor. For the amount of money we spent, the food was shockingly mediocre at best. The atmosphere is unique, but a cool cave can't make up for bad food and overpriced menu items. We also enjoyed the Roasted Potato Purée alongside our dinner, and it was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The dehydrated parsley, fried garlic, and grilled scallion oil elevated a seemingly simple dish into something truly memorable. For our entrée, we both ordered the Braised Brandt Beef Prime Short Rib, served with stokes purple yam purée, bon shimeji mushroom conserve, kohlrabi, and black trumpet demi-glace. The short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender and beautifully prepared. To finish, we enjoyed the Lemon Posset with pickled blueberry compote, lavender chantilly, and English shortbread--light, refreshing, and the perfect ending to an amazing meal.
