Came in on a Friday night and it was absolutely packed! Line out the door and after trying it, I see why! Both the food quality and customer service are top-notch. The dough is freshly made and you can immediately taste the difference You can order pizza by the slice or a full pie, or even get half-and-half if you want different toppings! Everything here was amazing, but the house pizza was a showstopper for me, along with the garlic knots! I feel like those are worth mentioning because a lot of times garlic knots are overly oily and kind of mushy, but these were perfectly baked; crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside I also really enjoyed the decor/ambience of this place. I loved this place. We went there frequently when the owner's mom was there and the service and food were great! I even left a 5-star review. Then we tried their online ordering and sadly the weaknesses and cracks in this establishment became glaringly obvious. This past Monday we ordered online and unfortunately an error was made on our part during the ordering process (unbeknownst to us). When the mistake first came to our attention the customer service at the restaurant was pretty bad. A couple days later we got in touch with Zach, the owner, and all was good again. He went above and beyond to make things right and we were excited to give them another try. Shoot to tonight when we (unfortunately) used their online platform again. We placed the order at 4:45 to be picked up at 5:45. When my son arrived to pick up the order with tired grandkids in tow he was told that there was a mistake and they were going to start the order now. My son left to bring the grandkids home with the intent to return to pick up the order. I then called the restaurant to inquire as to what happened and after getting some undeserved attitude from the girl who answered the phone I told her I would contact Zach and hung up. I then contacted Zach, who earlier in the day had said "If you have any questions or issues at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly at this number - it's my personal number". It was clear he didn't appreciate the contact on his personal number despite his sentiments earlier in the day. He then proceeded to dispute everything the girl said to us over the phone and told me that just like Door Dash or any other food service platform the order goes straight to the POS system and would have been taken care of by his "pizza guy". He also stated pizza takes 15 min and my son had no reason to leave. Truth be told I don't care about the computer platform or how it works. I placed an order at 4:45 on a system that allowed me to time it for 5:45. As far as I'm concerned I did my part. As far as my son having no reason to leave? He had a car full of tired children. Enough said. Zach then proceeded to tell me to "not bother picking up my order". He would be refunding my money and then suggested we find a new place to order pizza. His final comments were "you aren't the first person to not order from me anymore and you won't be the last". Wow. Just wow. read more

We have eaten here for years. They have amazing food. We love to pick from the slices that are already pre made instead of buying a whole pizza. The white mushroom pizza is so good! There are many pizza places that cater towards the experience or the different unique flavors and I would just say that this place is a no-frills get your pizza and scarf it down and enjoy it. I will say the upper east slice is really well decorated on point with New York subway decor with all the nice amenities. Surface was good and quick. I got the buffalo chicken and I got the house special overall I enjoyed the buffalo chicken more. I wish I got maybe a pepperoni or a regular slice with mushroom because it was good but at the same time wish the slices were hotter and a little bit more cheese. By far the best NY style pizza in Temecula/North San Diego (we live in Fallbrook). The pizza was perfectly thin and floppy, but rigid enough to get a good fold. The crust was chewy and even our "no crust eaters" finished the entire slice. Even though it's a 25 min drive from us, it's definitely worth the trip. I wish it was closer to home! read more

Upper East Slice is far and away the closest to NY pizza I've had in California. The homemade meatball & ricotta was absolute fire, and the Sicilian slice was incredible.
