This place left me genuinely speechless. I've had pizza in New York twice in my life. Nothing on San Diego had come anywhere close. Upper East Slice is far and away the closest to NY pizza I've had in California. The homemade meatball & ricotta was absolute fire, and the Sicilian slice was incredible. Staff was very kind and welcoming when I walked in. I don't want to overreact but this very well might be the best pizza I've had in my life. Random act of kindness and costumer service. This is my favorite pizzeria in this area, hands down. Really reminiscent of my old home town NYC style pizza. Everything here is amazing. From the friendly staff to all the pizza variations, and of course the delicious desserts. One of my absolute favorites is one they make with bacon/basil/Fig jam. During my last few trips they had run out of my fav, but none the less, I had a couple of the costumary good options. You can buy pizza by the slice which is the best and they have so many to choose from so you can choose all your favorite giant slices for dirt cheap. I was full after one slice. Ordered an 18" half and half specialty pizza online. Half meat lovers and half chicken pesto. The order was ready for pick up right on time and still hot. Crust was tasty and crispy, NOT burnt at all. I liked both sides but the meat lovers edged out for me. There was a good amount of meat without being overload and heartburn inducing. The chicken pesto was good too but I wish there was a little more pesto. I'll have to request it next time. The chicken was a bit dry but that's to be expected from the pizza oven. Our new go-to for family pizza night! We've lived in the area for well over a decade so we've tried just about every pizza place that has come and gone, including all the chains/franchises. We decided to give this one a try and it was DELICIOUS! We ordered the white pizza and the deluxe pizza. The food was hot and ready when we did our in-store pick up. The crust was fluffy and the cheese was very good! No pizza place seems to be less than $20+/- these days so it's certainly not what I would buy for a soccer team or big teenager party (unless you're flush with discretionary funds in this economy; if so, then go for it)! But, for a nice dinner with the family to watch a movie, game night, or even just an elevated pizza experience for a night in with your spouse, this is the place I would recommend. read more

I have never been a big fan of pizza. About 5 years ago I found a little place in Vista with the best Brooklyn style pizza and the coolest owner. After about 2 years of going there with my kids, the owner decided to sell and move out of state. I have not enjoyed pizza since then. Until I was out running errands one day and came across this place that sold pizza by the slice. I was starving so I went in. The pizza was AMAZING and the closest I will ever find to my old spot. The staff were very friendly and told me about every pizza they had available. They have at least 10 options of pizza by the slice. Their lunch special is 2 slices and a drink for only $9. Stopped in for their grand opening. Lots of slice options! More than any over place I've ever been to. We grabbed a pepperoni slice, a pepperoni jalapeno and pineapple slice, and a deluxe slice. All three were great. The best part was the crust, very New York like crust that not a lot of places can pull off. FINALLY A GREAT PIE IN TEMECULA!! Being a family that lived many years in Philadelphia, this pizza is the closest thing to East coast pizza around here. The staff is very nice and helped me out quickly. They remodeled the inside and gave this pizza shop a much needed facelift. Most importantly, this pizza has the perfect crust, perfect amount of cheese, perfect amount of crisp.. it is perfect and this will be our go to spot.
