The crust was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the vegan cheese melted beautifully. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying without feeling heavy. We got an XXL works pizza and it was huge, with generous toppings. The owner said the dough and sauce were made fresh and I could tell. Found myself in the area and used Yelp to help make my decision where to go for pizza. Ordered the Works pizza. I asked for extra crispy crust and was told they already make their pies crispy. The reason I ask for crispy crusts with my pizzas is I like to have the pieces hold up to the weight of the ingredients. The pizza I got didn't come close to doing that. I picked it up and the piece was limp and all the toppings slid off. The crust was wafer thin and very soggy possibly due to the mushrooms giving off their water content but whatever. Even if cooked further that crust wouldn't hold up. For the most part I enjoyed the pizza but was very difficult to eat. Nice little place overall. While I was there someone got a calzone that looked really good. They had Diet Coke so that's always a good sign. Friendly people. read more

My review as a 1st time customer: *The large meatball/mushroom/onion/bell pepper pizza was 4.5 Stars - really delicious! *Sauce is terrific! 4.5 Stars! *Excellent all-beef meatball topping! 5 Stars! *Crust is only 3 Stars - not truly New York style "thin" as told to me. Next time I'll ask for extra thin. *Topping anount - 2 Stars - way too expensive for the amount given (barely any onions, mushrooms or bell peppers). *Had I ordered a large veggie & added meatballs, I would've received 2 additional toppings yet saved $3.50! Tried for the 1st time since bongiornos closed. The walked up ordered with Gino the owner. I can honestly say it's a great pie good size and lots of flavor. Local family owned pizza shop with plenty of options. We came here because one of our favorite vegan restaurants Gentle Grill was closed, so we decided to check out Uncle Ginos. To our surprise, they have vegan options! On the menu, we only noticed the vegan calzone and the vegan cheesecake. However, after speaking to the owner, he said options were: Vegan Pizza, Vegan Garlic Knots, spaghetti w/vegan meatballs, vegan meatball subs, and they also had vegan sausage. We decided to give it a try! And we were happy that we did! Everything came out delicious and we took to go items for dinner later as well! Owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating, service first! There's some space to eat inside and outdoor tables as well. Definitely happy we found this hidden gem! Service was very very slow and order was wrong. We stopped by here on our way to soccer tournament. We were running late and the worker said it would be 15-20 minutes. He was taking care of a family that was eating in and definitely couldn't multi-task. I wouldn't have been upset if he had told us up front that it was going to take 30-40 minutes instead of 15-20. We would have went somewhere else. We waited. We ordered 4 sandwiches and we got 3. Only paid for 3 but my son didn't get to eat before his game because his sandwich wasn't made. He didn't get the ingredients right on one of the sandwiches either. All that wait and frustration and I didn't think the sandwiches were that great. He was a young kid and by himself so maybe someone called in sick but he moved slow and didn't seem to be concerned about people waiting. Somehow this little gem slipped in under my radar. Uncle Gino's has been at this location for two years. I love Stromboli and I decided to check it out. Stromboli is not on the menu but calzone is. I asked Gino's about Stromboli and he said he would make it for me. It took about 15 minutes to bake. The Stromboli was huge! I added sausage, bell peppers and olives. It was good but the cheese was off. Just had a funny taste and consistency. He also added ricotta cheese which took away from the flavor in my opinion. It was definitely good but next time I'll know better what to ask for or leave out. Nice atmosphere and warm with the ovens going. One table inside and a couple tables outside. read more

This is a second time we've ordered. We were so impressed with our first one, we ordered again. This time, however, the order arrived over 30 min after we were notified it was on its way. The food was not warm at all. We found the order on the ground on our front porch. No door bell or knock or any notification it arrived. The driver felt the ground was a better option than the porch table. The specialization of our order was not co considered or handled. One pizza toppings were charred; which makes cold pizza even worse I am very disappointed in the quality of food and the driver/delivery. Well no wonder Uncle Gino's gets 4.5 stars although I am giving him 5! I don't drive a 100 miles for a pizza but I'm Gino's case I just might! I'm from out of town and after getting a horrible flatbread at Miramonte winery I needed a solid pizza outing. I chose Gino's and I now feel like a genius! Gino is a cool guy from NYC and he knows how to make a pie! I ordered an X-Large pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pie with extra sauce and extra cheese. It was phenomenal! I'm a big boy and can down several slices of pie but I had to tap out after 3 incredible tasting slices. Very satisfying. Sauce was excellent and I detected a bit of spice which added to the experience. Had a leftover slice heated up today and my eyes rolled back in my head it was that good! Side note; enough exclamation points! We order a dinner salad which had enough for 4 people. I think it was $6.
