We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was busssyy. There was a line out the door. There's a parking lot that's managed by Premium Parking. On the sign, it said that the 1st hour is free for patrons in that plaza. When we asked the barista how parking worked, she told us that once we pay for parking through Premium Parking, we would get an email with the 1st hour comped. That did not happen. I had to contact Premium Parking support to get refunded. It's crazy too that the minimum you can park is 2 hours and it costs $20. I feel like the parking experience and incorrect information soured my view of the cafe. It was also difficult to find seating either inside or outside. On a walk through downtown Temecula early in the morning, we decided to pop in for a hot drink. We warmly greeted by the staff upon entrance. Plus the warm environment of the shop made us feel at home. The menu offers some unique drinks and some common drinks you find at other coffee shops. A drink that stood out to me was a coffee and orange juice plus other items: served cold. Apparently a drink designed by a staff member to wake you up in the morning. The shop also offers beautiful looks pastries and cakes that I unfortunately did not get a chance to try. I did try a matcha chai that was so yummy that I wanted more but resisted. Anytime I'm in Old Town Temecula, I seem to gravitate to The Press Espresso. This last time I stopped in Saturday morning for a drink and a little bite to eat. The line to order was a little long and took about 10 minutes, but the staff were super sweet given the wait. I ordered my go-to iced bsc latte and a quiche. The latte was great as always, but in the chaos of it all they forgot my quiche. I was on a bit of a time crunch or else I would've waited. They were so apologetic and gave me a free drink coin for next time! Such a nice gesture and totally understood how something can slip through the cracks. Asked about the difference between the two mocha varieties they offer and the lady kindly explained and helped me decide. The place inside looks very chill for a sit down study spot or to mindlessly people watch. The Mayan mocha with oat milk was delicious. The decor from the outside looks welcoming and friendly... when you walk inside the vibes is nowhere the same. We were driving through the area and love stopping at local coffee shops. We were very disappointed. I ordered a sugar free vanilla latte - and had I know that all they do is put stevia for the sweetener I would have walked right out the door. My coffee was so bitter I had to ask for more sweetener and it honestly didn't do much. That paired with the overly sweet pastries, and girl at the register who didn't even know what flavors they had for sweeteners- she told me to look at the menu, I will definitely not be coming back. read more

The banana and caramel flavors really shined without being overpowering, which I loved. It still had a strong, smooth coffee flavor, and you can definitely tell they use high-quality beans. This Press Espresso was located in Old Town Temecula, next to the large Old Town Antique Faire and along Old Town Front St. It was cozy, with decent amount of indoor and outdoor seating, relative to its store size. We were able to easily get a seat and also get our orders relatively fast. I tried their Iced Flamingo Tea Latte (4/5) and it reminded me of the Starbucks Tazo Shaken Passion Tea served back in early 2010s. The tea boasts tartness and vibrant colors from the hibiscus herbal blend with a cream foam. I wouldn't say its a latte per se, but I still enjoyed it. I would say Press is my favorite cafe place in Temecula and this location is no different. Highly recommend! read more

This review is in particular just for the hot chocolate as it's getting colder and wanted a nice sweet drink for the cold night. First off, I have to say that the interior is very cute, with the layout making it a really cute spot if you want to sit down and study. Also, when we got our hot chocolate, I loved the designs they made with the milk, and they made a different one for both of our drinks. Definitely very skilled. For how the hot chocolate tasted, I was slightly disappointed in the depth of flavor. I was expecting a stronger chocolate flavor but unfortunately had a more watered down taste. The chocolate flavor was still good and still had a better flavor compared to instant packaging, but not that much better. Of course, this is a coffee shop and I have heard their other coffees were much better, so will definitely want to give those a try, but unfortunately not the biggest fan of the hot chocolate. read more

I just didn't put 5 stars because a girl that was working closing shift Saturday 12/20, that had a striped shirt on, was a little on the ruder side. My family showed up about 20 min before closing time. One of my sisters went back in line to order one of my nieces (4 years old) a hot chocolate. She got in line 5 min before closing. The girl in the striped shirt asked if it was closing time already while looking over at my sister in line. When her coworker told her no, she looked at her phone to make sure and then took my sister's order without a positive attitude. I understand it was 5 min before closing, but it was still within hours of operation.
