We came in here yesterday (a Saturday). We were greeted by a dark haired girl who was nice and helpful. But another girl (who was blonde, didn't catch names) came to help with our drinks and seemed like she wanted to any where but there. My husbands drink was maybe half foam on a large cup. When I went to pick up my drink the lid was just laying on top and not snapped on. I didn't realize that and went to take a drink and almost dumped the whole thing on me. The drink itself was good. Stopped by after a workout and treated myself to an iced matcha latte, a vegan scone, and an avocado toast. No regrets whatsoever. The scone was a straight up 5/5. Devoured it while waiting for the rest of my order and completely forgot to take a picture because it was just that good. The avocado toast also deserves a 5/5. Perfectly balanced with just the right amount of acidity, saltiness, and fat. Really well done. The matcha latte I'd give a 4/5. Even after stirring it really well, the oat milk kind of overpowered it and I was missing that bold matcha flavor. A little more matcha powder would take it to the next level! I went to The Crafted Scone for the first time yesterday, and I'm SO glad I did! Everything was absolutely amazing, but let me start with the best part of my experience: Madeline! I was having a horrible day, but the minute Madeline greeted me, her radiant personality immediately shined through and somehow made me feel better. She clearly loves her job, knows the menu inside and out, and gave me some great recommendations. But what really made my day was when I went to get my coffee and noticed she had written "You are loved!" on the lid. I hadn't told her I was having a difficult day or anything like that, so it was such a wonderful and unexpected surprise. It was just one of those little moments that sticks with you. Now for the food! I had the Vanilla Salted Brown Butter Scone, and it was absolutely delicious. I also tried the Harvest Spice Latte, which was equally amazing. Nothing was overly sweet, which I really appreciated. Madeline said that when things are made right, they shouldn't need to be overly sweet--and she was absolutely right! It was my first time visiting, and I came with my brother. They had two gluten-free options available: the Original Vanilla Scone and the Vanilla Bean Sea Salt Scone. I went with the Vanilla Bean Sea Salt Scone, and it was delicious. They warmed it up for me, and for being gluten-free, it was surprisingly soft, moist, and full of flavor. If you have celiac disease like I do, I would consider this more gluten-friendly than celiac-safe. The gluten-free scones were displayed next to the vegan scones. They weren't touching and were spaced apart, but there is still a possibility of cross-contamination. The staff wore gloves when handling the pastries and seemed to take the proper precautions. They were very upfront about their food handling practices, answered all of my questions, and provided excellent customer service. The café itself was very clean, beautifully designed, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I originally wanted to order the Fruity Pebbles Matcha, which was a limited-time spring drink. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it with oat milk because the Fruity Pebbles mixture was already premade with whole milk. Instead, I ordered the Brown Butter Toffee Latte with oat milk. I got the 12 oz because I wasn't sure I'd finish it, but honestly, I should have ordered the larger size. It was that good. The flavor was rich without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated since I don't usually enjoy overly sugary drinks. My brother ordered the Peach Bellini and added a splash of lemonade. He let me try it, and it was incredibly refreshing. The peach flavor came through nicely without being overpowering, and the balance between the peach puree, black tea, and lemonade was just right. He also ordered a brioche tart topped with raspberries, blackberries, and vanilla custard, which he said was fluffy, flavorful, and delicious. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area for another Brown Butter Toffee Latte and gluten-free scone. Just a little disclaimer from someone who's still pretty new to navigating celiac disease: I'm still learning what works best for me and what risks I'm personally comfortable taking. Price was okay for a medium iced latte but where the coffee shop failed at is a medium and large size have the same amount of espresso (2 shots) so you just get get extra milk, which is not the point of getting a larger size latte. So to get my larger size latte with an added shot, the pricing was about 8 to 9 dollars. The taste is good and I like how creative their specialty lattes are. In need of coffee on our drive back to Riverside from Temecula. First things first, it was initially hard to find this coffee shop because there was no obvious sign other than a small A frame with name/logo.
