We had a UYE event next door and came here afterwards for desserts. It was my first time here and I was really impressed with the decor and the very nice and welcoming staff here... Me and my party were very full from having the Tea Experience next door so I just got a crème brûlée... CRÈME BRÛLÉE: 10/10 Rich and creamy. They also torch it when you order it!! That's pretty cool. I had high hopes for the orange basil cookie, but it fell short, I was hoping for stronger orange and basil flavors. We visited about 7:30 on a Saturday night. After surveying the dessert case we kicked the Rosemary Pecan Bar. Ooohhh was it good. Quite a different flavor pairing. But it really worked and was quite intriguing. This place is a nice walk from any of Old Town's restaurants. The service is wonderful but if you are going for the desserts - just remember the service was good. I really wanted to like this place but the grocery store bakery has a leg up in flavor, texture, and overall execution in bake goods. We were in the area to watch a performance at the expo at city hall, and we wanted a hot drink and sweet treat before heading home. We stopped at this local bakery. I had the strawberry cheesecake that was delicious and a chai tea with coconut milk. Usually I get it with soy milk but they don't offer soy milk only oat, almond and whole milk. We were able to have a cozy drink and convo in their cute establishment. They have so many different treats from ice cream, cookies, cake, muffins and so much more. I did not have the opportunity to physically visit this location but, I had the pleasure of trying a couple of their confections and it was AMAZING! My niece had ordered personal servings of their German Chocolate cake as well as their Pecan Bars and My Oh My were they scrumptious! Both desserts were not too sweet but, sweet enough to satisfy your sweet tooth. The cookie portion of the Pecan Bars were soft and not too thick and stiff like most Pecan Bars can be. Packed with pecans and delicious gooeyness. German chocolate cake appears to be dark chocolate at first sight but, it's not. A bit too much coconut in the cake itself for my liking but still delicious nonetheless! Definitely if in the area give this location a try! I'm saddened I did not know about it while in the area. Hold the phone - not sure how I just discovered this hidden gem and I've lived in the area for years! A friend told me about this sweet little bakery so we stopped by and oh em gee!!! **March 2024: Sunday Late Morning Visit** My friend and I stumbled upon this bakery as we were heading towards the Goat and Vine and were interested in the options. The cafe was pleasant and the display cases had a number of treats that would surely appease all guests. I enjoyed the classy atmosphere and fun music. I asked the cashier for her recommendation and she said that she really like the rosemary chocolate chip cookie and the pecan bar so I took both of them to share with my family. When I went back home we all really enjoyed the baked goods and would happily come back. This is my second time ordering a custom cake from OG Culinary Creations and once again they out did themselves. It was great working with Alexis. Alexis and her team brought my daughter's vision of her birthday cake into reality. The cake was gf and df, but it didn't seem like it was as it still tasted amazing and it wasn't dry. By far the best bakery around! I've lived in big cities without a bakery as fabulous as this one, so for a smaller city like Temecula to have such an outstanding confectionary, this makes me very happy. Their gluten free options are just as tasty as the gluten options, which in my opinion, make for a fantastic experience. One of the struggles I had when I had to go gluten free was finding food that was as delicious as the originals. The service is very efficient and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Although I think $2 a cookie is rather too much, they were good but I don't feel the taste elevated itself higher than a Pepperidge Farms store bought bag of oatmeal cookies. We were in the area having lunch before taking my Grandma back home and drove past Oak Grove. I saw Bakery and said I have to swing by after lunch and so glad I did! There is a nice variety of sweets from macarons to mini pies, cupcakes to cookies. I got a variety to bring home to the family, a gingerbread cookie for my Dad, peppermint mocha cookies, cranberry oatmeal walnut cookies, chocolate cupcake, and a mini pumpkin loaf for my grandma. Everything looked great, the peppermint mocha cookies were soft and tasted good (I would have liked a little more peppermint). The oatmeal cranberry walnut was probably my favorite cookie so far. I am not a huge oatmeal cookie fan but it looked good so I had to try. The cupcake was moist and the frosting had just the right touch of sweet. Can't wait to try the rest! My Dad and I also got a cup of coffee, it was really good. My Dad is a hard sale on coffee (he is really specific about his coffee and lives strong coffee) and even he said "wow this is pretty good". read more
