We were greeted by an incredibly friendly and patient employee, who turned out to be the co-owner. The building was very clean and well designed. It really has that boutique feeling to it. Tried 3 different ube flavored pastries: cupcake, macaron, and brownie. My favorite of the three was the brownie. It had the most ube flavor. The macaron had the least ube flavor with a heavy evaporated milk taste. The cupcake had a surprise jelly filling that went well with the cake. The pastries were not overly sweet which I personally prefer. They did a good job incorporating ube into each of the desserts. I'd return again to try other pastries. read more

I really try to support small, local businesses, and we decided to stop in while driving through. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't quite what we hoped for. We ordered a peach cobbler, a small lemonade, and a strawberry-banana crepe. The cobbler was a bit bland, and the crepe wasn't made well, it was thick, undercooked, and the gentleman preparing it seemed to be struggling. I completely understand being new to something, but at $16 for a crepe, I did expect it to be cooked properly. Our total was a little over $30, which felt high for what we received. I genuinely hope they lean into improving their crepe-making and focusing on fresh, high-quality offerings. With Paris Baguette opening nearby, this could be a great chance for them to differentiate themselves and really stand out. Super cute little patisserie next door to Shakey's Pizza that we were told has been opened for 10 months now. They had assorted flavored cupcakes, cheesecake, crème brûlée, panna cotta, flans, fruit tarts, brownies, puddings and so much more. Jessica was the sweetest and so helpful explaining their menu and what they had to offer when I told her it was our first visit. They also do crepes, açaí bowls and custom cakes. It was a little pricey, 4 treats was pushing $40 so average about $10 a head, but everyone enjoyed their desserts and we would definitely be back to try new items and we would 100% recommend that everyone give them a try! read more

I visited Adonai desserts for the first time on a Wednesday evening and was pleasantly surprised with the lovely dessert selection. I tried the raspberry pistachio cupcake along with their fruit tart. I really enjoyed the unique flavor of the cupcake. The cake itself was moist with a bright filling and creamy frosting. I could taste notes of the pistachio as well. The fruit tart was fresh and delightful, with a creamy filling, crispy crust, and topped with ripe fruits. I was curious, so I went in to see what they had to offer. The woman behind the counter was incredibly kind and happily gave me an overview of their menu and products. While we were talking, I didn't realize that a customer sitting at one of the tables was actually the owner. She overheard me talking about my sweet tooth and my interest in quality ingredients. I had just purchased several desserts from the bakery next door, so I wasn't planning on buying anything else that day. To introduce me to their products, she generously offered me a complimentary cupcake. She explained that everything is made from scratch using high-quality ingredients. They recommended the Mango Coconut Cupcake, and since I love both mango and coconut, I couldn't resist. When I got home, I wasn't expecting much because cupcakes aren't usually my favorite dessert. I was completely blown away. This was, without a doubt, the best cupcake I've ever had--and I've had plenty in my 47 years! The cake itself was incredibly moist, almost like a pound cake but much lighter and softer. It was filled with a flavorful mango curd that tasted fresh and vibrant. The whipped topping was light, airy, and not overly sweet, and the fresh coconut on top added the perfect finishing touch without being overwhelming. Everything was beautifully balanced--the freshness, the sweetness, the texture, and the flavor. I think I inhaled the entire cupcake in under a minute! Not only were the desserts outstanding, but the kindness and generosity shown by the staff and owner made the experience even more memorable. All I can say is Ashley surpassed my expectations and went above AND BEYOND what I imagined! Not only was the cake beautiful to the eye but it was fresh and the cake was moist. By the end of the night, there was only one piece of cake left (for a party of 100+ guests). A new dessert place in town! A must try! Found this bakeshop the other day! (opposite side of See's Candies) and wanted to try it out since I love a good dessert. Friendly and helpful staff. Was told that the owner is diabetic and wanted to create desserts that weren't too sweet. Decided to try a few things. The texture of the cupcakes were nice and moist. Each baked good had flavor and wasn't too sweet! I didn't feel as guilty eating them lol. Below is my ranking from most to least favorite: 1. Ube cupcake: 10/10 SO GOOD I WISH I GOT MORE! 2. Espresso cupcake: 9/10 very good, there is a small vignette of espresso you take out and squeeze onto the cupcake. 3. Fruit tart: 8/10 fruit on top was so fresh and sweet :) 4. Iced Matcha with oat milk: 8/10 6. Mango cupcake: 7/10 wish the mango flavor was a bit stronger. but yummy overall. 7. Oooofff, what can I say... 3 out of 7 pastries were decently good. Like a tier above mid. Stay away from the rompope jello, it was literally jello water, not even hospitals do you like that. Guava cupcake probably being the best, followed by the crème brûlée... then the Suspiro, had great flavor but like the majority of the pastries, they were dryer than my elbows. I'll have to go back in a few weeks to give them a second try and see if they can change my mind on this review. As for now I'll stay away and let them work out some kinks to get better... hopefully. read more
