    Banana Pudding with vanilla cookies

This bakery offers a variety of delicious treats, banana pudding, kiwi cake and strawberry cakes in a jar, cookies, cake pops, chocolate covered strawberry's and bite size cheesecakes in different flavors. There's lots to choose from. I had the banana pudding it so good, creamy and sweet. The owner and the staff are very friendly. The bakery is located in Murrieta and it's very nice. This bakery will satisfy your sweet tooth. Be sure to check it out.

Berry and peanut butter cheesecake bites

This dessert shop is located at the bottom of my apartment building and I have been wanting to visit for some time now. I decided to come during their grand opening this past Saturday as they advertised they were giving free cookies to the first 50 customers. I got there right when they opened at noon and, much to my disappointment, they had barely any inventory. I was shopping for my husband's birthday dessert and they didn't have half of what they advertised they'd have for that week on social media. They had two flavors of cheesecake bites, large cinnamon rolls, cookies, a few phat cakes, and some cake jars. They also advertise mini donuts, but didn't have that machine going either. I could not believe the lack of inventory for what was supposed to be their grand opening. I was looking for a cheesecake and all they had were these tiny cheesecake bites that were overpriced in my opinion. The peanut butter cheesecake bite was delicious, but I was looking for at least a personal sized cheesecake. I ended up getting a peanut butter chocolate phat cake for him, which was really a large cupcake that was just ok. I didn't love it, although the icing to cake ratio was good. Lastly, I got a dog treat cookie in their Bailey's Pantry section and my puppy loved it! The shop itself is super cute and the staff were friendly. I did get a free small m&m cookie, although I was expecting one of their large cookies. The large cookies looked amazing so I'll definitely come back to try one and hopefully they'll have more cheesecakes, donuts or other options.

The desserts melt in your mouth! The service is impeccable! The owner is so kind and warm!

    Lemon Bar

BEST LEMON BAR I HAVE EVER HAD Pastry was executed with knowledge and expertise. Vibrant, fresh lemon filling worked in perfect textural contrast with the decadent, crunchy crust. New Old Town dessert destination! Located inside Savage Beeches, an artisanal honey store, owned and run by a local beekeeper!

This locally owned dessert shop is situated in a small ground floor suite of the 101 Park Plaza building in East Village across from Petco Park. Their signage is not very visible which made the business difficult to find. It's owned and operated by an African American woman and her son. Others have already mentioned the challenging parking situation in the area. I found an open metered spot several blocks away and walked over. Because the timing of my visit was after a baseball game had concluded, their inventory was not as well-stocked as earlier in the day. Cupcakes, cookies, peach cobbler, Rice Krispy Treats, and cake jars were on display. I didn't see any strawberry shortcake, cheesecakes, or brownies because maybe those had sold out? The cupcakes were $3 each so I purchased four different varieties... lemon, cinnamon, vanilla, and strawberry. I also bought a peach cobbler which cost $8. Each cupcake was placed in its own plastic container which I thought was neat although some would say it's wasteful and not conservation-minded. They were on the smallish side for the price, however the markup wasn't as high as I have seen at other bakeries. The cake itself was moist while the frosting was light and spiraled beautifully on top. As for the cobbler, the amount of peaches was reasonable while the pastry crust was decent.

I first tasted Hey Sugar Sweets back when the Soul Swap Meet first started. Hey Sugar Sweets has also participated at events all over San Diego. At that time I also learned the owner is also a veteran and now pursuing her dream!! That right there deserves all my support! I've been hooked ever since that 1st taste of the Peach Cobbler Cheesecake! The new location is just an eh for me.. It's downtown bottom floor of a high rise apt building. My 1st time trying to go I just circled and circled and could not find parking. There is a big lot across the street i believe it's for Petco Park. My 2nd visit I had backup plan, I still couldn't find parking but I sure found a "spot" in the front..put my hazards on and made my Daughter run in! They didn't have Peach Cobbler Cheesecake today but they did have a Apple Pie one and I got a lemon Bundt cake! I had to force myself to "save some for tomorrow" so so good! Just taste like she makes ever with love. Tip- follow Hey Sugar Sweets on Instagram for hours and sweets menu for the day.

Food: 5 Service: 5…read moreAmbiance: 5 Hidden gem alert! Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, you would never guess such a sexy, sophisticated spot is sitting right in the middle of it all. From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

Fuhgeddaboudit! But my visit was so memorable that I will never forget about it!…read more Faith (owner) really has something special in Windomar, CA., just off of the Clinton Keith exit of Interstate 15. Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Hours of operation hover around Happy Hour and dinner, closing at 9 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment and themed events in the future, at which time I will follow up on this review. Thank you, Faith, Megan & Orquedea for a wonderful time.--
