The cupcakes themselves were amazing--perfectly moist, rich in flavor, and beautifully decorated. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and put a lot of care into their cupcakes. We ordered mini cupcakes previously and they were great! My personal favorite was the kahlua cupcake. It was done to perfection. Accidentally came across this gem today! It's hidden off to the side of the shopping center where the post office and grocery outlet is. There wasn't any parking at the donut shop so we had to park further down. On our way back to our car he said hey did you know there's a cupcake shop? I said no, let's check it out! If I could leave negative stars I would do so. Planning a wedding during a worldwide pandemic and quarantine is stressful enough. We were working with Susan for our wedding cake (all correspondence electronically since quarantine) which clearly meant frequent correspondence many questions that typically would be able to ask in person. Then with just two months before our wedding backs out, refuses to respond or even have a phone conversation to straighten out any miscommunication because I questioned a $50 charge for delivery that is less than 10 miles away. Now we have to start over the entire process of tasting and design while in quarantine. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Go to a different baker that actually cares for people!!! Susan, your comment solidifies my statement actually as you are making comments of "my attitude" which you only are assuming via email. I said other vendors - not bakers. We have not been working with other bakers and have now been abandoned having to begin the entire cake tasting and hunt over again with just 2 months in the midst of a pandemic. I find it interesting that you couldn't respond to my email or request to discuss on the phone which you would have then been able to actually know me and hear that I didn't have an attitude but you have no problem attempting to bash me after I leave a negative review. Cupcakes can be tricky because each step requires love and attention to create the perfect balance. When I tell you that these are perfection in a cupcake wrapper, believe every word. First, they're substantial cupcakes and the cake is MOIST. That in itself is a win. Then the frostings are intricate and so is the decor on each flavor. I'm eating the key lime cupcake and it gives you everything a key lime pie experience should be plus the added bonus of a torched marshmallow topping. That is love. LOVE. Maybe my expectations were too high. The cake I received vs the photo I sent them. I told them money wasn't a problem and gave them over a month. I had no idea I was getting that sheet cake with it either. I thought I was paying $185 for the log and 2 frogs. Makes sense if it was going to be done beautifully. I'm a perfectionist so that's why I'm a little bit more upset. The frog to log ratio is kinda funny too.. Now that I see the cake; it makes sense why it's $185. In my eyes that's a lot of cake with not the best design outcome so $185 is good. But I was excepting a smaller cake and the log to be the cake with frogs on top. I thought "$185 is kinda little for that much detail" but she said it would feed 8 so I went with it. I also never got photos or updates along the way. Can't be too upset, at least I got a cake. We picked up 4 cupcakes on Saturday. 2-chocolate, chocolate, 1- German chocolate and 1- Black Forest The German chocolate and black forest were very good however the 2 chocolate, chocolate had a weird taste to them!
