Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. The 5 star rating is for the employee (owner, probably) who greeted me immediately and began to explain everything when I told him I'd never been to the bakery before. He was so friendly and proud of his product I grabbed a few more than I would have normally. He said they start baking at 2:30 in the morning and sell until they are sold out that day. I came in around 11am and they still had plenty to choose from, so not sure what it looks like earlier in the morning, but it was also a Thursday. As soon as I was paying another family came in and he greeted them just as warmly. A great experience all around.

Sweet D'oh Bakery absolutely saved the day! I placed a custom cake order at the very last minute (literally the night before), and they came through with amazing results. The cake turned out exactly how I wanted--beautiful, delicious, and beyond my expectations. I'm still blown away by how quickly and perfectly they made it happen. All I can say is "wow!". The gluten free and vegan cupcakes I ordered for my son's birthday were absolutely DELICIOUS! Sadly, often gluten free and/or vegan is synonymous with flavorless.
