The lemon cake I bought from Cynful Sweets Design was absolutely scrumptious and delicious. The cake was super moist, the buttercream icing was amazing it wasn't too sweet. The design of the cake was elegant and beautifully designed. I had my cake personally delivered to my home before the time I allotted. Cynful Sweets Design is an absolute treasure. Best cake company in Menifee. Service is exceptional. I highly recommend this cake company. read more

Cyndi is amazing! She is truly an artist. I needed a cake for my mom's 86th birthday and figured I would go to a supermarket to pick one up. I was running out of time, and due to time restraints, I was unable to make it to the market. With the reviews on Yelp, I gave her a call. Not only was she professional and kind, but she was also willing to listen to my needs and wants. She prepared the cake in the limited time she had. It turned out beautifully! I almost wanted to lacquer the cake and set it up for display, but I am glad I didn't because it tasted so good! No more supermarket cakes for me. She is now going to help me with my son's graduation party! Thank you Cyndi you are a superhero! read more

Order wasn't produced as specified. TERRIBLE tasting cake and an amateur decorating job. Never again. You'll do well to order elsewhere. I was charged $90 for this travesty!! Thank you to everyone who reviewed Cynful Sweets - I'm from out of the area, and I wanted to send cupcakes for a friend who is in a nearby hospital. After reading the reviews, I contacted Cynthia this morning around 10am and she made a fresh batch of cupcakes and decorated them to look like flowers. And filled them with strawberry filling. And added a bunch of flowers (because she's also a florist) and had the cupcakes and flowers delivered to the hospital by late afternoon. She's very reasonably priced and more than anything else, such a caring, awesome person. I'm travelling, so I couldn't deliver this in person, but it's so nice to know that I could send a such a special treat to my friends. Choosing something unique from Cynful Sweets Design is so much better than something from an online business. Highly recommend Cynthia for any special occasion you might have!! read more

My son wanted a sonic cake and I called all of the major bakeries to see if they could make it and they said it wasn't possible on short notice. However, I texted Cynthia and she was able to do it. Not only was the cake flawless, it tasted amazing and made my son very happy. On top of that, she delivered and was very punctual. For my 33rd birthday I wanted cupcakes but I wanted vegan cupcakes and to try a new vega walnut cake. Cyndi was able to complete my order in two days! (Really like 1.5 days I emailed her at like 9pm on monday) She put up with my pickiness regarding the oil type I wanted, the recipe I wanted, and my text check-ins! I appreciate that she accommodated my online payment because I am not that tech-savvy. I will definitely be coming back for my holiday cakes! I am not supposed to open them until I meet up with my family but I couldn't help but try a few! So I am freezing the rest until we can all meet up as a family again. Thanks Cyndi! read more

Cindy did an amazing job on my daughters 16th birthday cake. I believe I called her on a Monday for a cake that we needed on Friday. We were very short notice. She was able to accommodate. I definitely would be more mindful when ordering the cake the next time. Not only was the cake beautiful and exactly what we asked for, it tasted very good as well. That was my concern. Pricewise, I don't know if it was competitive or not because I was the first time I've had a cake made by someone with that type of detail. It didn't seem unreasonable. I would pay it again. And I would absolutely use her again. read more

This was my first time ordering a custom cake and Cynthia exceeded my expectations! She communicated very well and I felt the price was reasonable and absolutely worth every penny. I was so excited to surprise my boyfriend with this Lord of the Rings themed cake. He's such a huge fan and he was so amazed. Not only was the cake beautifully made, it was delicious too! The cake was BEAUTIFUL! Unfortunately the order was wrong which would have been fine if the cake was delicious and moist. The cake ended up being dry and had burnt edges. I'm so glad it was for a small crowd of just family because I would have been embarrassed. I hesitated to make this review but I felt after some debate people need to know. Again the cake LOOKED beautiful but unfortunately that's it. It cost me 65 which was in my price range. read more

I take pride in Yelp reviews and finding good companies on here for my needs . I reached out to this company and I had to keep reaching out to them to confirm and get updates ... at first my order was incorrect and had to be corrected . Then the cupcakes tasted dry and boxed cupcakes . I had asked about 20 people in my party and all said very dry and frosting was too sweet. I am very disappointed due to 73$ I had to pay and tastings were over 20$ which is actually kinda high . I am having to throw rest away and it was not worth my money . Sorry but have to be honest to future people looking at companies as I would .... read more

I asked Cyndi if she could create some fun Halloween cupcakes for my employees at Domino's.
