If you are in the area and you need an espresso charging station, this is your only option in a 3 miles radius. The ambiance is nothing special. You would think they would be roasting their own coffee beans but I doubt it considering the cheap coffee taste of their drinks. The barista was working alone and she acknowledged us couple of times that she will be right with us while she was making other drink orders which was nice. But when she came to get our drink orders she was not friendly and frankly "attitudy"...... Again if somebody does not want to work, they are not forced to do so! Customer service always should come first and that includes being friendly to your customers! The large size is double the size of other places which is good. But the quality of the coffee tasted very cheap and definately not top notch. Will I ever go back?! I doubt it...... Maybe in a million year or so!!!! read more

Was traveling for work came across this place. Decided I wanted something different from Starbucks so I gave it a try. Nice environment and customer service was mid grade. Would've been better if there was more than one person helping people and could ask if i had been before so ik what to expect. The pictures below show what I received as the cookie butter coffee and what they have advertised in the store on the checkout counter and what's on the door. 1st its just a coffee with syrup. No extras no nothing. Its super sweet and thats what I asked the cashier about and I kinda wanted it strong as in caffeine strong idc about the taste strong. This was the grossest coffee I have ever purchased. I couldn't even drink it. I also ordered a croissant ham, cheese egg. Ugh...it was over cooked in the microwave leaving the bottom hard as a rock and it tasted like it was in the freezer and had freezer burn then microwave too long. It literally burned my mouth and when I let it sit to cool down it got so hard I had to throw the bottom part away. The ham in it was sooooo grindy like sandpaper! Do better and advertise that the toppings dont come on the coffee that are posted with pictures. That's literally false advertising! If I had to ask for it, and I've never been there b4, have the cashier ask if I want it. Customer service really does bring customers back. The breakfast sandwiches here are so good. If you like bacon - order this!! They put so much bacon in this sandwich it's insane. Their white chocolate iced coffee is also delicious. I definitely prefer it over Starbucks! read more

As a true iced coffee fanatic, it's honestly rare for me to find iced coffee that's flavored this perfectly--but Rise to Grind Coffee absolutely nails it. Anytime I'm in the area, this is a guaranteed stop for me. Their iced coffee is consistently smooth, balanced, and dialed in just right--not overly sweet, not watered down, just really well done. I've stuck with it every visit because it's that good. A lot of times my wife and I swing by with our kids--usually after a Sam's Club run or sometimes just with our little guy after leaving Powerhouse Gym--and it's always an easy, comfortable stop. They've got great pastries and sandwiches, which makes it perfect whether you're grabbing something quick or hanging out for a bit. Inside there's about a dozen seats, with big comfy chairs and a few tables, making it a great spot to relax, enjoy your drink, or even have a small work meeting. It's cozy without feeling crowded. Full honesty: I haven't even tried their hot lattes or much else because I'm so hooked on the iced coffee--but my wife orders different lattes and iced drinks all the time, and she's never had a single bad thing to say. And bonus points--their chocolate milk is a big hit with our little guy. If you're anywhere near Murrieta and serious about good coffee (especially iced), Rise to Grind is absolutely worth the stop. read more

BEST COFFEE in MURRIETA... and I do not say this lightly! Rise to Grind is a truly stellar coffee house with excellent roasts, seasonal flavors, and customer service. My Dad and I walked in to grab some drinks for my Mom and us on a Saturday night. The shop had several people inside, but it wasn't crazy. I spotted a student working at a table and several other guests sitting in comfortable seats while enjoying the ambiance. The shop had soft music playing and is decorated with art pieces of iconic music artists like Santana. We ordered two iced pumpkin brûlées and one sugar free latte w/ vanilla. Everything was fantastic, the flavors tasted authentic and premium in quality. All drinks can be hot, iced, or ice blended according to their signage. Sizes are clearly marked (small, medium, large) and non-dairy options are available (oatmilk, almond milk, etc.) The barista running the entire store by herself was AMAZING. She was super polite, helpful, and accommodating. This was despite my Dad making an error with his order. I'm so happy we decided to stop here because this is going to be a new, regular stop for my family and I! Rise to Grind also serves baked goods and pastries which all looked extremely tasty. The cold brew here is so so smooth. I didn't get to try any of their food, but I will next time for sure. Every time I go to the Temecula area I look for good coffee and this place did the trick. They have a lot of syrups for those of you that like it sweet too. I went with cold brew and 2 pumps of toasted marshmallow. My fiancé got the cookie butter latte. Today I stopped by for coffee and an avocado bagel. I added sausage and egg. As I ate it, I tasted hard bites but I dismissed it because I thought it was the bagel. When I looked at the sausage, I noticed it looked dried. I went up to the male employee at the register and showed him. I told him that it's tough/dried up as if they microwaved it. He looked at me like I'm dumb and replied "yeah, we microwave the food." I told him ok but clearly this one was left in too much. He said "well, maybe I did" and proceeded to just stare at me. To be clear, I added sausage and egg. It wasn't free. Seeing he didn't care, I walked away. I told my friend what he said and that I'll just leave a review. At that point he said from the counter "do you want a bread or something" still with a foul attitude. I told him no. Good customer service can go a long way. A simple "I'm sorry about that, is there anything I can do" would have been sufficient but his attitude left a bad taste in my mouth just like the sandwich did. read more

I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte in a 32oz, I should've known better, it was very watered/milked down and way too sweet. Wouldn't recommend ordering that if you're into good classic matcha. Customer service was decent, could be slightly better but oh well. I stopped by this coffee & tea place as I had a wedding to attend to. I figured I try a mom & pop coffee shop in the area before I headed down to SD. The ambiance was quiet. It wasn't loud at all and you can speak with your friends as the music was at a reasonable volume. Drinks were on the sweeter end. Their blueberry scones was delicious though. Especially heated up. The only gripe I have is the cleanliness of the bathroom. But other than, scones were good. Despite the tea being on the sweeter end, yoh can definitely taste the tea flavor read more

Customer service was good but i honestly don't recommend getting matcha drinks. I stopped by to try some matcha since they were right around the corner, but when I got handed my drink it was brown. Barely any ice in my drink, it tasted hot and when I tried it... it was just sweet processed strawberry syrup with milk. No taste of matcha at all. Do better! read more

Had such a great first time and rise to grind! i went in with high hopes as the reviews lately have been so good. i ordered a medium iced cookie butter latte and it was probably the best latte i have had in a long time! the service was great and there was plenty of seating. all of their pastries looks soo good! we went with a pumpkin loaf and it was pretty good. would have been better if they could warm it up. it was like a pumpkin chocolate loaf. overall i highly recommend! read more

I happened to come across this place after googling local coffee shops after a doctors appointment down the street. I went in wasn't greeted by staff, I understand they were busy but a simple good morning would have set the tone. I placed my order with the young lady who wasn't very welcoming at all, before I could even finish my transaction to pay she turned around and walked away, didn't even wait to see if the transaction was completed. First time there so I had no idea how they would let you know if your order was ready since it was a bit busy. I sat there and they were calling out orders by the coffee order, so I wasn't sure if it was my order or the person who ordered before me. I grabbed my coffee and was waiting for my food and same thing just very unpleasant. I'm a huge coffee drinker and I love exploring new coffee shops and the customer service skills were just not there so it totally bursted my coffee bubble. On top of that, some other customers loudly mentioned they'd be willing to "fight" anyone who got upset with the staff, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable. My boyfriend ordered an Americano that was served so hot he couldn't even drink it during our drive, and I got a slice of banana bread that was stale and lacked flavor. They have the typical coffee drinks you can find as well as some new custom flavors of the month/season. They offer a few different cafe food options such as bagels, baked goods, and sandwiches. I always have a great time coming here with my husband and my daughter. We come here regularly to get coffee and pastries. This is a great spot because my daughter has an egg allergy and there are options for her. We also used to be vegan and this was a spot that we came to during our plant based journey as they are accommodating and willing to check ingredients to be sure we are meeting our dietary restrictions. There is a plethora of self-serve black coffee options, my husband always gets the high octane dark roast and he enjoys it very much. I enjoy the iced vanilla matcha. Girl that worked there was too busy talking on the phone, had an attitude, asked for light ice and paid for extra shots and thats not what i got, i didnt get her name but she attended us at 6:30pm 3/5/2026 She even got upset when we told her we asked for light ice so she can correct it. This is the second time she attends me and she always makes the coffee not as strong but mostly milk and ice. Absolutely not!!!!!!!! Should be shut down to get cleaned and nasty old furnitures needs to be thrown away. Come on this is a place where food is served!!!!!!! the entire place is dirty and is lacking serious, proud of ownership. The furniture is old beat up and dirty. The glass where food is sitting looks like it hasn't been wiped in a very long time, and the place where they put their coffee to be picked up after it's made is also very filthy. I would not come back here just for that. It's a shame to have a place that serves food and to be so dirty. Please do yourself a favor as a business and CLEAN UP!!!! The bathroom is a whole different story, just disgusting. Pictures reflect the horrible reality. Also, there is no option for in-house cups/plates. My coffee and bagel with avocado was fine although everything was served and to go containers, even when I start to enjoy it in house. Would never come back here unless some serious changes happen. The person that took my order was awsome! When asked what ice drink they were best known for she recomend a white chocolate moca or thier lavender honey. I went with thier ice white chocolate, delicious. I also got the berry fruit tart, yummie. Love when coffee shops drinks actually taste like coffee and not just creamer. Would recommend. I have been going here for years. Normally, I love it. I have ordered the new blended black cherry mocha a few times. It has become my favorite drink, but two different times I ordered it, the girls working there left out the chocolate covered espresso beans, the chocolate drizzle and cherry on top. All of the things that make this drink amazing were left out. So disappointed since the drinks aren't cheap. I don't mind paying more for a drink if it is made the way it is supposed to be made. read more

You can tell this is one of those hang out locations because there was a large group sitting outside and a few groups hanging out on the cozy chairs having conversations. The girl that took my order was very friendly and helpful. I had a hot latte and a maple scone. Both were delicious. The scone itself was not very sweet but the maple glaze on it made it perfect. Not too sweet, just right. I like that there are so many syrup options, even a large selection for sugarless syrups. Please check your receipts these guys are overcharging. Small coffee says $5.99 and charged over $7. Rip off! Never going back again.
