I love Gaffle! Their menu is simple but strong, and their coffee is highly caffeinated, which I love. The prices are a little high for somewhere I'd go all the time, but it definitely feels like a special treat. They also have a great punch card system where every third or fourth drink is half off, which makes it a little more worth it. On average, I'd say a 12 oz drink is around $8 and a 16 oz is around $10. I highly recommend the banana bread latte or the iced capooch, and you definitely have to try the lemon loaf! The inside is super cute and has a really fun atmosphere, although there isn't a ton of seating if you're hoping to sit and enjoy your coffee on a busy morning. First sip: perfection I wouldn't change anything, add anything, remove anything with their house drink. I can't lie, the reviews on Yelp were scary. To have such a low score so early since opening made me believe this place was a waste. So many reviews about service being badly and rude. This was definitely not the case! I entered and was greeted very friendly, the lady was patient and polite, and overall very happy. Even the girl who gave me the drink was super friendly and authentic! Inside is a nice simple spot, they're connected with another store (PapaBear) which was cool. They have some nice merchandise on the side and center tables. The drinks were really really good. Not too sweet, the coffee was nice and refreshing, the pistachio cold foam was rich and creamy. It's like the owner went to Philz Coffee in SD & thought, "Temecula doesn't have anything like this, let me try it up here!" except it fails in customer service (Isabella took our order & seemed bothered when we asked questions about their "concept coffee"). $20 for two coffees, no mods, LA prices in suburbia. The place seems very pretentious & lacking, like something is off. Explain why it's worth $10, please. It's attached to another shop, although I am not sure it is the same owner. When a new coffee shop opens in temecula, im all in! This new coffee concept in town is great! It is connected to Papabear's Farmstand so you can browse and shop around while you wait. The menu is pretty simple as they only have a few items but nothing to complain about. I really liked their coffee concentrate and not to mention, i LOVE their cups! I had the Dubai coffee, not great. I could barely taste the chocolate and couldn't taste the pistachio at all. It just tasted like a regular iced coffee w/a teeny tiny bit of mocha. My friend had Blue Magic Latte and didn't like it either. The atmosphere is just metal and clear plastic hard chairs. Nothing warm and inviting. We also tried a gluten free lemon loaf slice and banana bread. They were both moist but didn't have a lot of lemon/banana flavor. I asked for a fork since it was so moist and a bit messy. They don't have forks... "but you could ask next door"... They share space in this strip mall building, but they are not partners, and I didnt feel comfortable doing that. Overall just not very enjoyable. OH! My friend asked for water and she said they don't have water! Something about a filter. ‍ Don't you make coffee with water? It wouldn't be difficult to buy water and have a glass beverage dispenser with water that they refill with bottled water? Other coffee shops do that. Pretty basic. We came from 35 mins away because we'd seen social media posts that looked good, and we really wanted to like it. Just disappointing. read more
