    Beef noodle soup
    Heather H.

Our shop ordered lunch here today and I got the soup. Everything came hot and fresh. It would have been helpful of they wrote what each item was so we could sort it better in the shop. We eventually figured it out. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. My soup was good, not too spicy and had a nice flavor profile.

    Taiwanese beef noodle soup... yummm!!

One day I had a craving for authentic Taiwanese beef noodle soup, exactly like the one i had in Taoyuan City. My Yelpers helped me find this place so I decided to give it a try. Located in the Trader Joe's shopping center off Winchester, so parking is extremely tight. I got exactly what I wanted... the taste of the beef soup w tendon marbled beef chunks. The soup had that special hint of star anise I was looking for. The noodles were perfect in texture. Lady at the counter was helpful and the place was nice and clean. Definitely would go back.

Great Taiwanese food and friendly staff. Food is freshly made each day and their Chili Oil is very good! We had the Beef Roll and it was delicious! Tastes fresh and great to pair with chili oil. The vegetables in it are crisp and fresh. Fried tofu has great flavor too and cooked well and you can never go wrong with the Chicken Popcorn, YUM!!! I'd be sure to be back! Chill spot to be in if you wanted a snack or quick meal without feeling guilty. There's so much in the menu that we still have to try so we'll be back for sure!

This was my first visit to this establishment, and I stopped by during my lunch break. I have to say, the small cup I ordered was packed with a generous amount of flavorful meat. The broth was absolutely savory, and it was exactly what I needed to warm me up on a cold day.For the size of the cup it was definitely a solid portion, and it really filled me up. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the hearty serving. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The interior is very clean, which I appreciated. One thing to note, though, is that this is more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to sit and catch up with friends. The seating area is limited, especially for groups larger than three, and while there are a few outdoor tables, they're not abundant. Despite that, it's still very convenient and perfect for a quick, satisfying meal. I'll definitely be back!

I ordered a boba drink and popcorn chicken, to go. I received my order in a timely manner and was impressed that I was given an extra cup for the overflow of my drink. Extra points for that! I don't like seeing food/drink go to waste. The inside was nice and clean, free of clutter. The popcorn chicken I ordered didn't make a good impression on me. It was chewy and had a strong flavor. I do want to try other items in the future.

Beef rolls. On the chill & cold side not the fried kind.

Like a VIRGIN, we came to Triple B cafe for the VERY FIRST time! And I'm so glad we did because we found some of our favorite LA foods right here and it's in this cute little plaza near Krispy Kreme's and Trader Joe's... We ORDERED: The mild beef noodle soup, beef rolls and the lunch special of Pork Chop Curry rice which comes with a tea & I got the Hokkaido milk tea. "It was so good that we ordered some more items " HEHE! ORDERED more: XLB, popcorn chicken & brown sugar milk tea. WHAT WE LOVED THE MOST: the fried PORK chops, the beef noodle soup which STAYED HOT for a very long time! It was hotter than Korean Tofu soup! I loved the HOKKAIDO milk tea and it's something we can only find in LA usually like at the Jazz cat cafe or Boba Ave. so V I'm so happy that we have that here in our lovely town of Temecula! SERVICE: Very friendly especially Chinese friendly because she loved speaking Chinese to us ;) Cheers everyone!

My husband said the beef roll ($10 something) seemed like it was made with sandwich meat and hardly any crunch. Pork dumplings were ok but a lot of money for that $13 something. Minced pork with rice ($10 something) was okay mainly rice. My beef noodle soup ($15 something) was not bad. It had a pretty good portion of meat. Boba milk tea ($5 something) was ok. Tea was good but boba was soggy. My husband said he was not greeted right away. The guy saw him and didn't say anything like we'll be with you shortly. Ambiance was not good, very small lacked an atmosphere. Don't like the fact that my food came in paper. My husband said paying restaurant prices for cafe food. Don't think we'll be back. We are spoiled with experiencing good Taiwanese food elsewhere so this is not up to par. We spent about $65. If you use a credit card they will charge you 3%.

This cafe is awesome! First time trying since we had a gift card that was good here. We didn't try the drinks or dessert, which looks amazing, especially the rolled ice cream. We came in when there was a couple waiting, and a group of 3 ahead of us. Small, clean place near the shopping center. We were served within 15 minutes of ordering. The food was so yummy. We tried the salt & pepper popcorn chicken, the fried tofu, the curry rice and the fried pork dumplings. Portions were perfect, the rice was definitely for two people at least. The potatoes and veggies inside the bowl with the curry was so delish. The popcorn chicken was super crunchy and flavorful. The fried tofu was soft but perfectly fried and lightly crisp on the outside. The pork dumplings were hot and did not lack in the meat stuffing. They have a big water jug and cups, along with several seasonings and sauces for self serve. Very impressed with the offerings here, we will def come back to try more.

This is good spot if you crave dumplings during lunch break. Let me start with saying that the customer service is excellent here. We got good advice in regard to our questions about foods listed on the menu. The person behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. We tried steam and fried dumplings mix (chicken and pork), and beef roll sandwich. The food was flavoursome and well seasoned. The beef sandwich was especially tasty and would highly recommend you to try it. The sauce that came with dumplings was very good too. They also offer great variety of different types of soft drinks. Don't miss it!

Have been getting takeout/ GrubHub here every 3 weeks for the past 3 years. Recently went to Taipei, Taiwan and it was so nice having the same food when I got back home. This place is grubbin' especially the popcorn chicken, curry rice, taiwanese eggs, and pork cutlet sandwiches. We get those all the time! And of course Brown sugar milk Boba pearl tea for desert.

Stumbled upon this little bistro/restaurant while searching for dumplings but they had a wide variety of food selection to choose from. The XLB Soup dumplings were amazing along with the spam fried rice & minced beef noodles. Loved the service/atmosphere & ambience as well. Nice little place to grab some delicious food & catch up on work or hang out with friends. Can't wait to come back.

Let me tell ya, I did not think I would be spending $70 for lunch but I did here. Would I do it again? Heck yes! Everything we had was quite good. Let me tell you all about it. It was Wednesday so I ordered the Beef Noodle Soup lunch special. If you have read through all my reviews, you know I've been searching all my life for that perfect bowl of Beef Noodle Soup. Soup:10 Slight heat, deep flavor, could be oilier but close to perfect. Beef Shank: 8 Thick slices of shank, could be more tender still yummy Noodles: 6 Tasted like these boxed Costco noodles, owner agrees Sides: 8 Has mustard greens in small container, wished it was more. It comes with a drink, you get to choose from black tea, green tea, and I think one other type but definitely not Thai tea. We also ordered between the two of us, some pork Chop Rice, A la carte popcorn chicken, matcha ice cream roll, and a couple of traditional items not on the menu to go. Pork Chop Rice -I thought this was okay, I usually like mine a little fattier and with five spice flavor for that traditional touch. I thought this just tasted plain. But what really saved it was the braised meat rice, marinated egg, takuan set that it comes with it. I'd probably get it again. The popcorn chicken tasted terrific but did not have the traditional heat nor was it fried in basil that I usually get. Nevertheless, it tasted like if it was battered in potato starch and has quite a bounce and juiciness to it. The matcha ice cream roll, the flavor was really good. The choice of two toppings we picked were mochi and mango jelly. It was refreshing but I'd probably would pick different toppings next time. Definitely a must in this heat. It takes about 10 minutes to make. The owner offered us some of those wok fried salted peanuts and those street eats (See picture) that has pig ears, seaweed, marinated tofu, sliced shank with a drizzle of cilantro. I mean, these two classic appetizers is something I often eat along with a large bowl of Jook. So guess what I made this morning? Jook to go with all of these sides. I gave my mom the other half, I'm sure she would enjoy this. The owner told me she only makes about 8 of these in a week and offers it to her returning customers. I was lucky to be offered this as a first time customer! We chatted a bit and enjoyed our experience even though we probably could've just hit an AYCE for about the same price. But really, this is what supporting a small biz feels like, and I would totally recommend my fellow Yelpers to come and try this Taiwanese style cafe out. Yes, it's in the same lot as Trader Joes and parking on a weekday was a little tough during the lunch rush but worth the wait.

We got two bowls, egg rolls, crab rangoons and a Vietnamese coffee and thought everything was very affordable and tasty! I was worried the red curry might be too spicy and the girls working even let me taste it before ordering. Everything was very flavorful. I have to say a big standout point for me was that I came in carrying my baby while my husband had our toddler napping in the car, and the girls working insisted on helping me carry my order to my car, something you don't encounter very often anymore. This is definitely going to be a regular spot for us in the future.

I really like the fact that you get served in to go containers. Makes it so much easier to just ask for a lid and take your food home if you can't finish. They do give you a lot of food so I think that's a definite plus for this restaurant. I do wish they had a soda machine with The ability to refill. However, you can buy cans of soda and I'm sure they have ice and a cup if you request it. I like the fact that you can build your own meal if you don't want the pre-selected ones. Each time I come back I am trying something new. The only problem I have ever had is that the chicken meat was breast meat and a little dry but I haven't tried it since so I'm not sure if it has changed. The pictures probably tell it all and we will be back again and again. I hope the best of success for what seems to be a small, family-owned business.

Noodle consistency is great with their Blaze or Classic ramen options, as the broth tends to be a little thicker and creamier than the Shoyu option. Their appetizer selection is also pretty diner friendly and sure to include a little something for everyone. If you're not in the mood for noodles, they also offer regular or large rice bowls, which come with amazing flavor profiles all on their own. At a glance, the 'regular' size option might seem like an insignificant portion, but rest assured it comes ready to satisfy the types of diners who'd prefer to taste a little of everything. My only critique would be on the sushi selection. It didn't taste so fresh, but then again this place is obviously not named Silverlake Sushi, so I'll rest my case on that note. I stand firmly behind ramen being the craft that Silverlake takes time to perfect, both in the intricate taste and in visual detail. Highly recommend if you're craving noodles and don't want to drive out of town to get them!
