This could be trouble for me... I mean a boba shop that also serves snacks like popcorn chicken, braised beef noodle soup, and steamed/baked dumplings?!? They even have rolled ice cream...aaaaaand they are now a few steps from my gym so I'm going to have to discipline myself!! LoL Triple B Cafe used to be located on Ynez near the old KMart, but they recently moved next door to Bushfire Kitchen in the Trader Joe's shopping center on Winchester. The parking lot isn't terrible but during peak times you'll have to drive in circles once or twice. I've had my eye on them for a little while now, always peeping in as I walk right by on my way to Trader Joe's. Today they were actually open so of course my #PhatGirlTendencies sent me right in! I was greeted when I walked through the door, and the employees were cheerful and eager to help me. I checked out the menus for a bit before deciding on the Hokkaido Milk Tea with boba. The gentleman who took my order gave me a little sample and said to let him know if it was too sweet or not sweet enough. It was a tad too sweet so they adjusted it accordingly and the ice helped water it down. Pretty darn good if I must say so myself! The Hokkaido milk tea is an extra $.50 and each topping is $.75. They have a good amount of drinks to choose from and their food menu is pretty extensive too. I am going to have to try them all over an extended period of time. They even have veggie curry! I'm gonna try their braised beef noodle soup in the near future...followed by their rolled ice cream for dessert! Yummmm!! This little boba shop is great for a quick drink and/or snacks on the go. There are a few tables inside and outside closer to Bushfire Kitchen. The employees are all very nice and I liked that you can see them making your drinks behind the counter as opposed to closed doors/walls. Prices are average. My youngest & his friends are obsessed with their lychee green tea with mango popping bubbles, so we come here often for a treat. Love that they're right next to Trader Joe's so I never mind taking him. The owner is such a sweet lady & even let me sample the tea my kids always order. I'm a fan of their popcorn chicken sprinkled with her yummy salt & pepper shaker. Which has more than just salt & pepper in there. I stopped by today to get a drink and snack. The customer service was great! I got a matcha milk tea, a Thai tea, and some popcorn chicken. I asked for the drinks to be less sweet. The woman making the drinks gave me two sample cups to taste the sweetness level. This was a first and I really appreciated it. The sweetness level was perfect. The ONLY Taiwanese cafe that offers authentic Taiwanese dishes is the hottest find of the year for me. Love their beef noodle soup and pork chops. My kids are obsessed with their popcorn chicken. Must try their beef rolls and marinated combination! Their drinks are pretty awesome! My fave is the lavender milk tea and lychee slush. Their boba could be sweeter, I must admit. I normally add aloe to my drinks anyway. They have daily lunch specials with their signature tea for 12.95. Bring cash if you don't want to pay for 3% service charge. They offer 10% military discounts and loyalty discounts if you sign up but it's equivalent to a 5% discount. Can't combine though . Still... the perfect place to catch up with friends. I recommend sitting outside so you don't have to hear the loud blenders and speak over it. A little gem tucked in the corner of your typical shopping plaza! It is often overlooked because it's surrounded by big names like Trader Joe's and Friar Tux... but it is definitely a must try! The inside decor is inviting and catchy but the food and quality of it is where it's really at. Flavor is PACKED. You can really taste the authenticity of the food. I really recommend the beef noodle soup (especially on a cold day!) The tea is great, too! A place that serves Taiwanese food in temecula! Its great! I was searching for a tea drink place that may serve popcorn chicken and possibly noodles. Well here it is! I got the noodles with the braised pork. The pork wasn't flavorful and a bit dry and cut up too big but the soup broth was delicious. I ordered it to go so they had the cooked noodles in a separate cup than the broth. It didn't look like a lot, but it was! Think of Din Tai Fung, but instead of the long lines and steep prices, it's a snack bar that's easily ACCESSIBLE and AFFORDABLE. My wife and I got xiao long bao's, braised beef noodle, popcorn chicken, and marinated eggs. For our drinks my wife had oolong tea and I had the pineapple mango juice. The braised beef noodle was great! The meat was braised right and it melts in your mouth. The broth was simply flavorful: not strong, nor bland. The popcorn chicken is crispy, and juicy on the inside. The XLB was also great! All I have to say about it is that it will be our staple order every time we visit. Service was pretty quick, the servers are nice and courteous, and the place is kept nice and clean. Been here a few times to give a accurate review. When it comes to Taiwanese food, I consider myself a bit of an expert since I've grown up eating this. With that said, this place is not bad considering we're out here in Temecula which isn't a hub for Taiwanese food. With all things considered, I will give this place the max stars just because I don't have to make a drive to LA to get my fix. I've tried the Taiwanese beef noodle and pork chop rice w/lu rou. Both were very tasty and fantastic portion sizes as well. The flavor of the beef noodle is in line with traditional expectations and the beef shank is really tender. They don't skimp on the beef either which makes it even better. I like how they give you the preserved veggies (again, in line with traditional expectations). The pork chop rice was also pretty good. The pork chop was seasoned with 5-spice and marinated well before it was fried. The meat was tender and plentiful as well. The lu rou (minced meat) pairs well with the rice as you can mix it in and create a flavorful balance. The pickled radish on the side adds a sweetness to the dish. Remember to take advantage of their lunch specials which changes daily throughout the weekdays from 11am-3pm. read more
