    Beef noodle soup
    Heather H.

Our shop ordered lunch here today and I got the soup. Everything came hot and fresh. It would have been helpful of they wrote what each item was so we could sort it better in the shop. We eventually figured it out. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. My soup was good, not too spicy and had a nice flavor profile.

    Taiwanese beef noodle soup... yummm!!

One day I had a craving for authentic Taiwanese beef noodle soup, exactly like the one i had in Taoyuan City. My Yelpers helped me find this place so I decided to give it a try. Located in the Trader Joe's shopping center off Winchester, so parking is extremely tight. I got exactly what I wanted... the taste of the beef soup w tendon marbled beef chunks. The soup had that special hint of star anise I was looking for. The noodles were perfect in texture. Lady at the counter was helpful and the place was nice and clean. Definitely would go back.

Great Taiwanese food and friendly staff. Food is freshly made each day and their Chili Oil is very good! We had the Beef Roll and it was delicious! Tastes fresh and great to pair with chili oil. The vegetables in it are crisp and fresh. Fried tofu has great flavor too and cooked well and you can never go wrong with the Chicken Popcorn, YUM!!! I'd be sure to be back! Chill spot to be in if you wanted a snack or quick meal without feeling guilty. There's so much in the menu that we still have to try so we'll be back for sure!

This was my first visit to this establishment, and I stopped by during my lunch break. I have to say, the small cup I ordered was packed with a generous amount of flavorful meat. The broth was absolutely savory, and it was exactly what I needed to warm me up on a cold day.For the size of the cup it was definitely a solid portion, and it really filled me up. For the price, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the hearty serving. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The interior is very clean, which I appreciated. One thing to note, though, is that this is more of a grab-and-go spot than a place to sit and catch up with friends. The seating area is limited, especially for groups larger than three, and while there are a few outdoor tables, they're not abundant. Despite that, it's still very convenient and perfect for a quick, satisfying meal. I'll definitely be back!

I ordered a boba drink and popcorn chicken, to go. I received my order in a timely manner and was impressed that I was given an extra cup for the overflow of my drink. Extra points for that! I don't like seeing food/drink go to waste. The inside was nice and clean, free of clutter. The popcorn chicken I ordered didn't make a good impression on me. It was chewy and had a strong flavor. I do want to try other items in the future.

My husband said the beef roll ($10 something) seemed like it was made with sandwich meat and hardly any crunch. Pork dumplings were ok but a lot of money for that $13 something. Minced pork with rice ($10 something) was okay mainly rice. My beef noodle soup ($15 something) was not bad. It had a pretty good portion of meat. Boba milk tea ($5 something) was ok. Tea was good but boba was soggy. My husband said he was not greeted right away. The guy saw him and didn't say anything like we'll be with you shortly. Ambiance was not good, very small lacked an atmosphere. Don't like the fact that my food came in paper. My husband said paying restaurant prices for cafe food. Don't think we'll be back. We are spoiled with experiencing good Taiwanese food elsewhere so this is not up to par. We spent about $65. If you use a credit card they will charge you 3%.

This cafe is awesome! First time trying since we had a gift card that was good here. We didn't try the drinks or dessert, which looks amazing, especially the rolled ice cream. We came in when there was a couple waiting, and a group of 3 ahead of us. Small, clean place near the shopping center. We were served within 15 minutes of ordering. The food was so yummy. We tried the salt & pepper popcorn chicken, the fried tofu, the curry rice and the fried pork dumplings. Portions were perfect, the rice was definitely for two people at least. The potatoes and veggies inside the bowl with the curry was so delish. The popcorn chicken was super crunchy and flavorful. The fried tofu was soft but perfectly fried and lightly crisp on the outside. The pork dumplings were hot and did not lack in the meat stuffing. They have a big water jug and cups, along with several seasonings and sauces for self serve. Very impressed with the offerings here, we will def come back to try more.

Beef rolls. On the chill & cold side not the fried kind.

Like a VIRGIN, we came to Triple B cafe for the VERY FIRST time! And I'm so glad we did because we found some of our favorite LA foods right here and it's in this cute little plaza near Krispy Kreme's and Trader Joe's... We ORDERED: The mild beef noodle soup, beef rolls and the lunch special of Pork Chop Curry rice which comes with a tea & I got the Hokkaido milk tea. "It was so good that we ordered some more items " HEHE! ORDERED more: XLB, popcorn chicken & brown sugar milk tea. WHAT WE LOVED THE MOST: the fried PORK chops, the beef noodle soup which STAYED HOT for a very long time! It was hotter than Korean Tofu soup! I loved the HOKKAIDO milk tea and it's something we can only find in LA usually like at the Jazz cat cafe or Boba Ave. so V I'm so happy that we have that here in our lovely town of Temecula! SERVICE: Very friendly especially Chinese friendly because she loved speaking Chinese to us ;) Cheers everyone!

This is good spot if you crave dumplings during lunch break. Let me start with saying that the customer service is excellent here. We got good advice in regard to our questions about foods listed on the menu. The person behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. We tried steam and fried dumplings mix (chicken and pork), and beef roll sandwich. The food was flavoursome and well seasoned. The beef sandwich was especially tasty and would highly recommend you to try it. The sauce that came with dumplings was very good too. They also offer great variety of different types of soft drinks. Don't miss it!

Have been getting takeout/ GrubHub here every 3 weeks for the past 3 years. Recently went to Taipei, Taiwan and it was so nice having the same food when I got back home. This place is grubbin' especially the popcorn chicken, curry rice, taiwanese eggs, and pork cutlet sandwiches. We get those all the time! And of course Brown sugar milk Boba pearl tea for desert.

Stumbled upon this little bistro/restaurant while searching for dumplings but they had a wide variety of food selection to choose from. The XLB Soup dumplings were amazing along with the spam fried rice & minced beef noodles. Loved the service/atmosphere & ambience as well. Nice little place to grab some delicious food & catch up on work or hang out with friends. Can't wait to come back.

I love Triple B Cafe! I think about this place all the time. They have a lot of food to choose from for such a small cafe. My party of 5 came in to enjoy a delicious spread. We ordered soup dumplings, popcorn chicken and curry bowl, wings, spam fried rice, and coffee rolled ice cream. My favorite thing is their curry rice bowl! We picked the popcorn chicken as the protein and everything was tasty and filling. I don't usually find places with single-serving curry, to-go style, so I was impressed. The spam fried rice is good. The soup dumplings absorbed all the soup so unfortunately wasn't very soupy. Wings were my least favorite; nothing really special about them. Impressed with the lady who took our long order and brought everything hot and fresh out for us - thankful for her patience! Nice rolled ice cream for dessert. Shop isn't big, only about 3 small tables.

We got two bowls, egg rolls, crab rangoons and a Vietnamese coffee and thought everything was very affordable and tasty! I was worried the red curry might be too spicy and the girls working even let me taste it before ordering. Everything was very flavorful. I have to say a big standout point for me was that I came in carrying my baby while my husband had our toddler napping in the car, and the girls working insisted on helping me carry my order to my car, something you don't encounter very often anymore. This is definitely going to be a regular spot for us in the future.

I really like the fact that you get served in to go containers. Makes it so much easier to just ask for a lid and take your food home if you can't finish. They do give you a lot of food so I think that's a definite plus for this restaurant. I do wish they had a soda machine with The ability to refill. However, you can buy cans of soda and I'm sure they have ice and a cup if you request it. I like the fact that you can build your own meal if you don't want the pre-selected ones. Each time I come back I am trying something new. The only problem I have ever had is that the chicken meat was breast meat and a little dry but I haven't tried it since so I'm not sure if it has changed. The pictures probably tell it all and we will be back again and again. I hope the best of success for what seems to be a small, family-owned business.

Hidden in an outdoor mall it just looks like a glass front suite, but enter the doors and the interior is beautiful and clean with comfy upholstered booths and chairs. The young server greeted us with a strong Asian accent and took us to our seats immediately. We were the only customers in the room which made me a little nervous, but is was 2pm on a Thursday after all. We were presented with a hardbound colorful book of their offerings... pretty cool. We ordered and were quickly presented with: Spicy Pepper Beef: A medium spice level with a savory dark soy sauce, bathing ultra tender beef slices, married with thin sliced jalapeño and diced red and green bell peppers. Unbelievably delicious. Walnut Honey Shrimp: Mega large butterflied prawns quickly fried with walnuts and sweet glaze, crispy and crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Tangerine Chicken: Large delicate and tender chicken breast pieces deep fried in a fluffy batter and glazed with a perfectly sweet and tart tangerine sauce. Our meal came with individual bowls of perfectly cooked jasmine rice. Enough food to feed 3 hungry adults and still have leftovers. $63 Why 5 stars? It was a little hard to find the restaurant, especially since the sign is not right over the entrance, but just next to it where the small market is. Look for the Winchester Center sign next to the market. Since we arrived before it opened on a Sunday, we browsed in the market until it was tine to eat. We had a reservation for 6 of us, so they seated us at the one round table near the front. There is another longer table next to it on the left side where there's a colorful mural. The rest of the tables are booths. The restaurant is spacious and roomy and very clean. You can order items from the menu or build your own hot pot which is AYCE. Everyone in our party chose the hot pot. We were each brought a small blue pot that contained the sterno to heat up the soup and the broth of our choice inside. We also placed our meat order with our server. We went to the back-left corner to grab our veggies, and some other things to add to our hot pot. Our server came by often to take more meat orders, clear empty plates, and check if we needed more broth or if our sterno needed more fuel. Our server was delightfully cheerful and friendly. She was helpful and answered all of our questions, especially when we had to choose our broths. (Forgive me for forgetting your name!) I highly recommend calling ahead to make a reservation if you have a larger party. Accessibility notes: most of the tables are padded booths. If you can transfer and slide, you should be okay. Otherwise, see if you can sit at a table that has chairs on the left side. The restaurant is spacious enough to park your mobility aid (or stroller for babies) near you. The restrooms are located in the back-left corner, 2 single stall restrooms, one for men and one for women. There is enough room for someone to enter with their mobility aid and a helper companion. You can enter the restaurant without climbing a step, but I don't recall where the handicap accessible parking was since we used a regular parking space and I climbed up the curb. No one from the family is local, but my brother-in-law chose this restaurant because it's somewhere where we can meet in the middle. We all loved it, and are adding it to our rotation when we need to come together for a celebration.

My only critique would be on the sushi selection. It didn't taste so fresh, but then again this place is obviously not named Silverlake Sushi, so I'll rest my case on that note.
