Java Hut is literally what its name says; it is a little hut that sells coffee, teas, and other tasty creations.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It has a drive thru and a little walk-up window where you can order near the patio. There is no inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The patio is cute, with some nice bench seating and plants decorating it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parking is no problem at all as it is a larger shared lot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu seems quite expansive, even showing boba drinks added since the last version of the menu I found posted on here! But I came here wanting to try either a coffee or matcha drink. After a brief look at the menu and seeing they still have their holiday menu up, I was very excited to try the Cookie Butter latte. I LOVE Biscoff, so this immediately got my attention. The lady who took my order was nice and helpful with my questions. This was my first visit but I didn't want to be difficult. She said they do have decaf espresso, which is a huge win for me! I just cannot handle fully caffeinated coffee. I wish I could. So I ordered my small iced decaf cookie butter latte and pulled around to the pickup window after paying. My drink was made quickly, and it was beautiful! The Biscoff cookie on top was a nice little treat to enjoy with the drink. As for the drink itself? DELICIOUS! Sometimes decaf can have an off flavor, but this was nice and the cookie butter flavor was amazing. I would order this again if I knew it would stick around! At least for now, it is just seasonal. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that my drink felt like it had a ton of ice. I enjoyed the drink, but it seemed like I finished it so quickly and the cup was filled around 3/4 of the way with ice. If you want more of the drink, you may have to order a hot drink. This one was short but sweet. I was happy to see their matcha menu with a handful of drink options and I had almost ordered the vanilla cloud matcha but only changed my mind when I saw the cookie butter latte. I am out this way about once a month or so, so perhaps next month I will try one of the matcha creations! I am definitely a fan and always happy to support a small business. Why go to that big chain coffee place down the road when Java Hut is right here?! read more

First time going and the coffee was REALLY good! I got the banana bread latte iced. The reason for 3 stars is for a couple things. One, they asked if I wanted whipped cream which I thought, sure! Coffee is such a treat for me and not something I have often. I also ordered the deluxe breakfast sandwich which is egg, bacon and cheese on a croissant (as shown on menu). I got to get my coffee, no whipped cream. I say nicely that I ordered whipped cream. She goes to take it back but then says "we actually just ran out". Which was a lie LOL. I saw the car in front of me get it and the drink sitting next to her (probably for the next car) had it. I just said okay and took my drink. She asked if I ordered anything else and I said the deluxe breakfast sandwich. I get my sandwich and its on an English muffin and not a croissant. I just took it and left. At that point, I knew there would be another story about how they didn't have croissants so I didn't bother. I'd be willing to try again just for the good coffee but would probably skip anything extra and no expectations of good service. read more

Great little coffee spot in Elsinore. I ordered the snickerdoodle ice latte and my sister the snored iced latte and they were nothing but great. Coffee wasn't not diluted like many so many places now days that just make a fluffy drink. Even with all the flavors in our drinks the coffee came thru. Not coming back here. I love the coffee here. But every time i have an issue with my drink and for a remake, i am met with resistance. Ive only asked 2 times out of the 40 times ive been here for my drink to get remade.... There is one employee here who i have been feeling wasnt very friendly. I paid $7.07 for my drink and thought.. i am not going to drink this..... i should drive back and at least ask if i could get something else.. i barely touched the drink. Im glad i did. I rather have driven back and you be angry and gotten something i will drink, because i love your coffee, than throw my drink in the trash. Id rather you be angry by my politeness than throw away my money. The day before i had gotten coldfoam on my matcha.. so of course it was sweet. I asked for a matcha less sweet this time, not knowing their matcha is sweetened already, and it really mellowed out the flavor and was still very sweet. I would rather have a drink i enjoy and you be angry at me for asking politely for a remake than throw $7.07 in the trash. This is your problem. You shouldnt make your loyal customers feel bad for drinking less than 1/5 of their drink and politely asking if you can make them something else. I didnt drink half my drink and would understand to be turned down if i had, but i was polite and this was not the case and im tired of being made feel like its my problem when people are offended by something they dont need to be. Its a drink ! I love the coffee here but honestly i didnt deserve this experience and i am angry and i wont be back and dont want to experience this a 3rd time if my drink is bad. Instant coffee that tastes like water, no thank you. it's just Nescafé instant watered down with 2% milk. You can make the same thing for .05 at home. Their lattes contain no caffeine, brewed coffee and lattes both taste like watered down. Very dirty tasting. I think it's made in advance then heated up, they could make it stronger. Very cheap kiosk and $7 for a coffee made from instant... I called and asked refund the manager rudely answered "hello, what" yeah nice customer service .....she answers all rude like what the hell you want. read more

Sad to say, I took my daughter here for coffee because she said her friends go here... well couldn't be more disappointed, the young girl was rude. My latte was watered down, and my daughter stomach was upset, after a ham and cheese bagel, that was harder than a rock in my opinion, but the girl said they "come that way" if you want friendly service and a bang for your buck just go to Starbucks or Dutch bros. I always get an iced latte and this time I chose a medium iced latte with 1 pump of their blueberry syrup (I'm not a sweet type of coffee drinker). It was great.
