Donuts are delicious! I don't recommend the coffee though. Or the boba. Coffee and boba are not great. My husband got a Thai tea and it was terrible lol my coffee drink tasted like a sushie lol Not a fan of the drinks. Now the donuts were amazing! Super fresh and so good! They had a nice glaze on them, but were soft on the inside. A perfect donut. My husband wouldn't stop raving about his glazed donut. I got the big one with a twist: Service was good. The owner was so nice. He makes one mean donut! We will be back. :) read more

Be careful, went there twice; making this the second. The ham & cheese w jalapeños we got had a hair mixed into the ingredients. So stuck in there that i was able to physically carry it & HOLD IT UP. The service was "nice". read more

I've been coming to this donut shop since I was a kid, and it truly feels like a staple in the community. There's something special about walking in and getting that same welcoming feeling every time. The quality has always been consistent, and you can tell there's pride behind everything they make. It's places like this that bring people together and create lasting memories. I've watched it remain a part of the neighborhood for years, and that kind of longevity says a lot. I really appreciate everything this shop represents, and I hope to see it around for many more years to come. read more

I got a jelly filled donut that tasted sour. Be careful if you're getting milk from the drinks fridge. I happen to glance at the thermometer inside and it read "Danger Zone" read more

I recently visited and purchased 8 donuts for work. I tried two (glazed twist and maple bar) and couldn't finish more than two bites of either. The maple on the maple bar cracked off with each bite rather than adhering smoothly/creamily to the bread. The bread of both of the donuts was a somewhat dry consistency. They charge 75 cents to use your card. I unfortunately cannot recommend this donut shop and will not be back. read more

I have been coming here since I was a kid. Not only are they the best donuts (glazed buttermilk bar is #1 favorite) the service is also excellent! We special order dozens of donuts to take back home with us whenever we visit. They use top tier ingredients and have kept their prices reasonable even with the higher cost of ingredients. Wonderful people! read more

Zero star rating definitely. Thief! You will be charged doubled or more a few days later. First of all my husband and I decided to stop by this donut shop since it was nearby. It was 4:30 am on 1/31/24. We just got in town to visit families. I used my card to paid for the goods and waited like usual for receipt to print out. Seller then said okay. I said okay, and we waited so I could sign the receipt. He said you are done. I've asked him, my card went through, it's paid for? He said yeah it went through. I said I don't need to sign anything? He said no. My husband and I made it to our car and there is the seller who came outside and said "mam your card didn't go through, come inside" and he turned back real quick and walked with guilt. At this point we felt like something was fishy going on because from the moment I swiped my card to the end interactions. At the counter: He said sorry your card didn't go through. I said why is that. You told me it went through earlier. He was acting a little funny and staring at his iPad and kept tapping it, scrolling up and down and then said I could you show you, you see it didn't go through. Well, what am I looking at (I can't see his screen at all because he didn't spin it around to show me and just pretending). Mind you, he didn't want to show but just saying it because he felt like he needed to. I said I'll pay cash. He said oh you are going to pay cash. Then there is no fee for the card so it's less. He wouldn't give receipts for a failed transaction which never printed out or paid with cash. At this point there was his regular customer who wanted to be nosy and stood there listening and I felt humiliation during this whole ordeal. I found out the seller at this donut shop charged my card 2-3 days later but the transaction merchant's name didn't say Vista Donut. If it is a business it should have said it. Instead it said this name: Thong Chen. Who is this person? Seems like he was desperate and needed my money and charged me double for some donuts that were nasty! Almost $70 for one dozen of donuts, three ham and cheese croissants and a cup of coffee! How dare he took advantage after I've paid him in cash and decided to charge my card a few days later. Be careful with this place and I'm warning you. I agree with other reviews that customer service suck ass here and I would avoid this place! read more

I hope everyone reads this review! I just moved here from Louisiana and was in need of some donuts. I saw Vista was right next to me and so I gave it a try. I've learned that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, and this was definitely the case! The outside and inside weren't very eye-catching. I didn't catch her name, but the owner was very patient with me when I was picking my donuts. She asked about myself so we chatted for a bit and she told me how expensive it's been with the insurances and whatnot. Her husband had gotten a back injury recently so she's been doing all the work and baking by herself as she can't afford any other employees either. She said it's been very difficult lately and they've been having a hard time. She's had that place for 40 YEARS! I can only imagine that what she says is true about it being difficult if she's had Vista Donuts for so long. I got 6 different types of donuts and they were really amazing! Melt in your mouth and full of flavor. I'll definitely be back for more like I promised and I hope people read this and can go support her and her husband as well! I really wish them the best. read more

As everyone has mentioned, pricing seems to be whatever they feel like that day. Donuts are definitely made on-site but are not fresh by the time they're sold. Chocolate and Maple old fashion were blah, chocolate bar with "whipped cream" was tasteless. It felt really dirty in this place too, may have been because they didn't have the A/C running, or could have been the poor lighting over the entire place. read more

1st time getting donuts here and will definitely be back. The donuts here are authentic, not some frozen pucks like a bunch of the chain ones. The buttermilk, old fashioned and cinnamon roll donut were beyond delicious. I spoke to the owner that has been there making old school donuts for 40yrs. The donuts here will not disappoint. I highly recommend!! read more

My coworker brought some donut from this mom and pop shop. It was really good and I'm not really a big fan or donuts. I had their basic donut no glaze or anything and it tasted super good. I also had a bit of their coconut one and it was good. I don't know about their pricing or anything but the taste was great. I highly recommend it and will visit soon read more

The owners are very friendly and the donuts are very good. Big lines in the morning and they are open until 6 pm

I've been to this shop 3-4 times since I moved here in 2019. Most of the donuts never seem the freshest, even the times I've gone early- should I be there bright and early if I want them fresh? Especially the donuts that cost extra. The woman who works behind the counter is nice enough, but never friendly. The shop itself is always pretty dark inside. Star Donuts down the street by Del Taco is a little cheaper, fresher, and brighter. read more

Been to this shop 3x and every time I go I get a dozen doughnuts and each time the price has been different even though I get the same dozen each time. It's as if she just looks at you and pics a price I felt like I was a foreigner in a different country getting scammed. When I mentioned that the price was not this high last time she told me it's inflation and that the price is up on everything , don't know how the price went up 8 $ in 7 days but won't ever go back to this place and I advice you guys stay away too , when a business is desperate for money they cut corners and take shortcuts wouldn't trust this business food read more

I just moved to Lake Elsinore from Pomona and this is the first time I've visited Vista Donuts. First of all, the lady who helped me was sooo very nice and welcoming. She is definitely a professional and she has excellent people skills. I ordered the Apple fritter and I must say that it is HUGE. Mine was still warm. I'd have to say this this is the best Apple fritter I've ever had. Thank you again for your kindness and of course the yummy apple fritter. I will be back! read more

Fresh donuts every day and extra friendly service. I like to support small businesses especially during these times.

The best blueberry fritters ever! They are so delicious and much better than Krispy Kreme or Yum Yum.

Visited once again! I wish it was more often. I love 1.5 hours away so it's not often anymore. ALL of the donuts are so so good, but to be specific, the donuts I can not find anywhere else like Vista Donuts are the swirled raised puffy donuts (orange is the best), the chocolate chocolate , with chocolate chips inside, chocolate frosting and chips outside (yummm). And the blueberry fritter, I can find apple other places, still sub par and not blueberry! I wish I could find a place as good as them in Orange County , but there just ISNT! read more

So, I am so happy to get to write a better review for my favorite donuts. The lady working was actually friendly today. I could tell she was really trying to be nice! As always the donuts were delicious, but because of the much improved attitude of the worker's, driving a little far and paying a little more money for these donuts, made it much more worth it! As the saying goes,"A smile goes a long way!" read more

Great donuts, great service! Can't go wrong with anything there. They're well known for their Glaze donuts and Bars. These always sell out quick, so I recommend to get there early before they run out. I especially love their pastries. DONT MISS OUT THE BEST PLACE EVER, they have yummmy donuts and great blended ice coffee with PLENTY of flavors! !!! This place is THE best

The woman that was taking orders was so uninviting and uninterested in taking my order. I approached her with "goodmorning how are you!" And was not greeted...instead her response was " busy. What do you want" ....Turn off.....I decided to leave and find somewhere else. I too run a business, and the first impression is everything. I will not return. I was looking for somewhere I can go daily for coffee and a croissant or donut. Java hut down the street offers drive through and a larger variety, and the employees are very kind even if their drive through line was really long. read more

Best donuts in Elsinore. I drive across town when I need my donut fix. They even have a custard filled maple bar!

Horrible service, but nice venue and good location. I don't know who takes the other shifts but the man who wears glasses and a hat was the one that rang up my order. There was definitely no love in what he was doing and he didn't seem like he cared about his job or customer. It was toward the end of the day so he was probably over it and the food wasn't as fresh but there should still be a consistency the entire shift. The boba pearls tasted old and the smoothie tasted very artificial. Donuts were average. There was a man helping him who seemed nice...Hoping my friend who helped me can change, but as of now this was my first and last time going here. Below is an amateur video that proves bad service/energy changes the quality/molecular structure of the food... Stay blessed foodies. https://youtu.be/31shlv5Z71A read more

Food: 4.5-5 Service: 5 Convenience: 4 Value: 4.5-5 Bottom Line: If you live in the area (or even if you dont) this is a great place to get donuts, drinks and some stuff you find in a mini-mart Food: I come in here for the Boba drinks. What's boba you say? Well I'm glad you ask. Boba is tapioca balls added to a number of different types of drinks. Usually asian teas and coffees, fruit icees and smoothies. It basically give you something sweet and chewy to munch on while your drinking. The nice thing is they give you a cake donut free when you buy a boba drink. better jump on that perk while its still available. BUT the drinks would be worth it even without. The donuts are great. They are different than other donut places in a good way. I cant explain it. You'll just have to try it for yourself. There is a great selection at a great price. I like patronizing family/locally owned businesses. but they can be hit or miss in terms of quality. Not this place. The donuts are some of the best i've had AND the drinks are just as good, or better. than the specialty drink/boba shops. They even have candy, gum, bottled drinks. My wife even noted that they sell Advil and aspirin. Service: The lady that always serves me is very friendly. She always has a recommendation and will steer you away from what she thinks you wont like. Convenience: This is sort of by the haircut place i go to near 4 Corners (A name that has baffled me since i was introduced to this area). It shares a building with the Chinese restaurant . Though this has far better parking and a much easier entrance into and exit out of. I'm usually not on this side of town but would gladly come here for my fix. Either drink or donut. Value: Pricing is on par with other places but the sheer fact that you get a free donut with a boba drink is unbeatable. But again, even without the free donut it is worth it. read more

I'd love to tip the scales for this old time favorite but you'll see why I gave it a 3. Good: Variety is great and they have the staples with a few new toppings like the bacon maple bar. Boba and coffee is worth getting. Friendly service with a smile for all my life. Clean and bright inside. The so-so: donuts. These are just your average donuts so if you live around here you get'em for lack of better ones close by. But if you do your homework you make sure you land elsewhere at a real bakery with quality ingredients. Bad: the sign! If you want people to try this place for the first time you need to say hello and make a good impression by at least fixing your sign up and get the lights on. No amenities like Wifi or magazines or something to read so it's only a pickup place despite having chairs and tables. Could be better by now. read more
