Ok this donut shop is on the corner of a shopping center so I never noticed it there. My husband said he always picks up donuts from this place. So when be asked me to get donuts, I decided to stop by and check it out. I can see why he comes here and now I will be. First off, I love that they have glazed cronuts. I ordered one and wow it's sooo good. Which is dangerous. I came at about 9:20am and I thought they had a good amount of donuts available. I was talking to the woman helping me and she said that it's her daughter's shop and that her donut shop is in Hemet. She was just here helping her daughter's shop for 3 weeks. She was really friendly and reminded me of my mom. So the shop owner's mom told me that they have more donuts available but they sell out quickly in the morning. I recommend coming early if you want a specific type of donut. I ordered a dozen of donuts for my family. My kids love chocolate donuts so I got a few of those. My husband likes the donuts with filling. I got the last lemon filled and a raspberry one. Since it was the day after Halloween I also threw in a chocolate donut with orange sprinkles for my youngest. I asked about the cronut and it's $2.95 alone but she let me add it to my dozen and just to pay extra for it. It came out to $19 and I just ended up giving a $20 and to keep the $1 as a tip. I felt it was worth it and fair for the donuts. They tasted great and the service was great. The inside of the donut shop looks like your typical donut shop. They have some seating inside if you would like to eat your donuts there. They also sell an assortment of drinks. I definitely recommend coming here for your donuts! read more

Wow!!!! Wish I had stopped at this donut shop years ago! I was at the post office this morning and as I was driving out, I saw a sign for donuts. I already had plans to go out to breakfast, but seeing as how I'll have a couple of big days of cooking, I know I won't have time to make breakfast, so I stopped by here. First of all, the lady that helped me today was super nice. The donuts looked amazing and I had planned to buy 6 and ended up buying a whole dozen for a super great price. I got home and had to eat one of the glazed ones right away because I had to endure smelling them in my car all the way home. Let me just say these donuts are delicious and at an incredible price. 7/20/23 We were in the Starbucks drive thru this morning at about 10:30. My Grandson started fussing about how he wanted Dunkin' Donuts, instead. I put the car in reverse and headed for Dunkin. I remembered there was a donut shop near the church and pulled into this place, instead. A dozen donuts for $15.95 but let me tell you...these donuts are huge. They're perfectly glazed or frosted. I can't believe we've never come here before. I live about 1 minute from Dunkin Donuts but I will start passing that store up for this. We purchased 2 dozen. Long story short, (kind of). Went in and the gentleman in front of me had an order that was under their $6 minimum debit card requirement (he didn't have cash), but the woman taking his order told him, "It's ok" and let him use his card anyway without charging the $1 fee. When my total came up to being under $6, she told me there would be a $1 fee for using my card. For that, I am giving this establishment 1 star. Everyone should be treated equal. If you're going to excuse 1 customer, excuse the rest with your silly $6 requirement because not everyone carries cash these days and in this climate. Will NOT return. Too often i'm seeing these "donut" shops pop up (overzealous on the presentation) with ridiculously overpriced baked goods that come with about a pound of decorative hooplah on top NO THANKS. Luckily, my bro's and i had this killer donut spot growing up- North County San Diego, IT WAS DELISH not too fluffy, not oily, not that heavy "omg-i-ate-too-much" feeling, you know?? none of that.. but it was juust riight dare i say perfect! Tried them a few times and every time they seam old, dry and or old oil, maple is not it and the other topping flake of and even melt. I suspect this is from using water as a thinner to cut production price. For $16 a dozen all your doing is supporting a small business with inferior doughnuts. We ordered an apple fritter & an apple-filled bear-claw to take home. Both were very fresh and delicious! My husband doesn't care for doughnuts, but he agreed this was the first time he didn't taste all fat. The only female employee working wasn't overly friendly or helpful, but I asked questions and she answered. I'm not from California, and I have noticed many places don't have very good customer service. However, after buying doughnuts here, I ordered In N Out to-go. Earlier this week I went to get some donuts in the morning, i have a service dog that needs to be with me everywhere i go for medical reasons. The lady working there told me no dogs are allowed, and i proceeded to let her know that my dog is a service dog. She still told me that i cant have my dog inside. A service dog is a medical tool and not a pet. A business with a "no pets" policy may not deny entry to a person with a service animal. Service animals are working animals, not pets. Clients with their Service Dogs are protected by the federal law the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The ADA guarantees that all people with disabilities have the legal right to use their assistance animal in all areas that are open to the general public. "No pet" policies do not apply to assistance animals, even in facilities that sell or prepare food. It is illegal to deny access to someone with a service dog. Wow...just had a terrible experience at this place. Took kids here to try their boba drinks. It Was just an unpleasant vibe second we walked in. No other customers there, just us. Girl at the front was not very social. No smiles, no how are you doing, what can I help you with? None of that. Felt like we were imposing on her time. We asked about the drinks n which ones had boba? She pointed to the smoothie menu n said all those have boba. So ordered 2 smoothies w/ boba n I ordered a frappuccino. I didn't say anything about putting boba in my drink.. I don't like that stuff. So when our drinks were done, noticed that she had put boba in the frappuccino. I told her that I didn't ask for boba n she said as ALL DRINKS COME WITH BOBA. I politely requested that she redo my drink n she said she would have to charge me again. That is ridiculous!! What kind of customer service is that? So my husband told her if she cannot redo the drink...then refund our money. She said NO. My husband demanded money back and she threw the money on the counter screaming "f***you". Wow!!! Why is this place still open? I know we are not the only family that has had a bad experience here. Okay, I have been here several times, and have nothing but "GOOD" to say. The donuts are great, although I go here for the Cream cheese croissants, and Ham & cheese croissants. They are so flaky and light, and it is such a good amount on the inside. A friend and I stopped here on the way to work one day, and love, love the croissants. Hot chocolate is good too... The owner is a laid back, all around cool guy. He greets you when you walk in, and remembers you when you come back. I see a lot of regulars here, and would more than suggest this place to anyone. The donuts here are wonderful. We came in at 9:30; yes a little late as far as the morning goes, but the donuts were still fresh. We ordered a dozen to bring home to the kiddos and house guests and were all quite pleased. The donuts were not only great tasting, but they were so moist and soft; just the way donuts should be- even if they have been sitting around for a few hours! My only qualm is that there wasn't too much of a selection, but it was understandable as it was so "late" in the morning. But with what they had, it was definitely worth the picks. Went here yesterday for National Donut Day for a chocolate old fashioned but they were out. That's usually the case for these delicious treats. I settled for a chocolate buttermilk bar and got a few for home, a plain one which I ordered wrong, I thought she meant an iced one but what she gave me was in fact dry with zero icing. Also got a glazed and an Apple fritter for my wife. Got these home and not one of them was edible they were so full of grease or lard that left a thick layer of goo on the roof of our mouths. My wife took one bite of her fritter and said no thanks. We tried every donut and sadly threw away every one. That's $7 we will never get back! My wife told me, "oh I never go to that place! This happened to me a few years ago and I've never been back". I didn't try to return them as I knew it would be a scene so just chalked it up to live and learn. I have been craving donuts all day today and I had to have some from somewhere. A place that I already knew of called Vista Donuts closed at 1pm. So I looked up other donut shops on Yelp and decided to try out Donut Star but they were closed. They closed at 2pm! I'm thinking to myself why do they close so friggin early?!!! So I looked again on Yelp and came across Corner Donuts I'm glad I did! The donuts were nice and soft and not too sweet. The price of the donuts are really reasonable as well.
